The city of Avalon on Catalina Island with many custom built objects including the Turret House, Wrigley Memorial, Pier, working Bell Tower (sounds), and several businesses and hotels. This scenery was designed around the freeware Catalina Island by Aerosoft and is required for this scenery to display correctly. FS2002 version of this scenery has over 5500 downloads. Tested on FSX Gold Edition (FSX Deluxe and Acceleration Expansion Pack), FSGenesis 9.6 terrain mesh, and Win7 operating system. Requires RWEOBJv5.zip & RWEOBJc5.zip (or later) Object Libraries. | Republic F-105D fictional 'Desert Storm' |

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Alphasim F-105D Thunderchief to represent a fictional RAF Thunderchief as it might have appeared (like the Buccaneer and Victor) in its last days of service during Desert Storm. The Thud would have been a plausible addition to the RAF's inventory during the mid-1960's as a stop-gap low-level supersonic fighter-bomber until the arrival of the TSR.2, and would have been well suited, with the right electronics suite and munitions, to the operations of Desert Storm. But failure of the TSR.2 programme would leave the RAF having to soldier on for at least 2 decades with an increasingly obsolescent and ageing fleet until the Tornado programme was fully geared up. Textures for both FS9 and FSX are included.

TEXTURES UPDATED - FS2004/FSX Curtiss C-46 Commando Package By Libardo Guzman, Greg Pepper, and Tom Gibson. TEXTURES UPDATED FOR FSX ONLY, by Enrique Medal. To magnificent original textures, I have removed the shadow under the fuselage, and I softened the rest of the exterior textures. Also, I removed the night lighting of the helix, and add a new texture (C46A USAAF CONFEDERATE AIR FORCE)

N44BG is the hangar mate to N41UR which comes with the Orbx Lancair IV-P package. Seems a shame it got left out!

These textures are 2048x2048 which fall between Orbx's HiDef and LoRes textures.(damned if I can see the difference!)
As usual, please ensure your copy of Orbx's Lancair IV-P is of the 'paid for' variety?

File Description:
Air Links started its operations in 1959 from Gatwick, initially with one and from 1961 with two more DC-3 aircraft. In 1962 these were replaced by a single Handley Page Hermes, which became the last still in airline service. In 1964 the Hermes was replaced by several ex-BOAC Argonauts, acquired from Flying Enterprise, the Royal Rhodesian Air Force and East African Airways. They were mainly used for charters around Europe, as well as special trooping flights for the Ministry of Defense to Gibraltar, Hanover and the Middle and Far East. Already in 1965, after the company had been renamed Transglobe Airways and Bristol Britannias has been purchased, the Argonauts were written from use and scrapped or used for fire drills. These are textures only; you will require Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Canadair Argonaut and North Star V3.0 (argo_v30x.zip). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

I had several personal requests for some VH-XXX registrations. Our friends down under sometimes feel like we are leaving them out of the picture. We are not, and this is my most recent contribution. These repaints are for FSX, P3D, and FSX:Steam. You will need the payware version of the Carenado EMB505 HD Phenom 300 installed to use this repaint.
