Boeing 737NG CFM56-7B Ultra Effects Edition Download

SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present what is quite possibly the most realistic sounding Boeing 737NG sound pack available! This sound pack is designed specifically for the PMDG 737NGX, and will not work properly in any other 737NG aircraft add-ons in MS FSX, or Prepar3D. Seperate 737NG versions for the freeware TDS, Vistaliners/Kittyhawk, default 737-800, and other 737NG add-ons will follow shortly. Pagasa Island, Philippines Download

File Description:
Pagasa Island is a jewel in the South China Sea. It is the one pictured - an emerald splash in an azure sea slashed by a coral runway - whenever new collisions or confrontations are reported in the news for the region. Occupied continuously by the Philippines since 1971, historical use dates back to the Han dynasty, which many believe forms the basis of the Chinese claim to the island. Each country has it's own interpretation of international law and the Filipinos are clearly banking on the precedence of continuous occupation, at no small expense, as Rancudo Field is the farthest airport from Manila within the Philippine sphere of control. Surprisingly, the geography of the island serves to capture and retain rainwater, although the aquifer is stagnant and the water must be treated for consumption. Sea life remains abundant, poachers take coral heads and sea turtles. There is a solar farm and recently installed solar street lights, fuel for the generators is a precious commodity this far from the mainland. Sadly, nature may solve the struggle for possession by withdrawing the island from the arena. It is believed that the construction of the runway may have compromised the islands basic integrity, allowing it to crumble into the sea. Whatever the cause, the evidence is clear. Bunkers built during the Japanese occupation in WWII are already slipping beneath the waves and the rate of salt water encroachment has been recorded at close to 6" per day. There are some things to explore, the grounded BRP Laneo Del Norte to the west; over to the north near the resort grounds are a dugout fishing canoe and some authentic Philippine bangka boats; you may want to load up and head east to do some low warning passes over the Chinese fishing fleet. Standing at the east end of the field, you can just barely spot the China Coast Guard cutter's smoke on the horizon. The tower is marked by a bright strobe that fires once every five seconds and at night it is bright enough to guide you back to the island from the distance of the fleet. There are no published procedures and the tower is not staffed. Airport ICAO is RPPN.

Silloth Aerodrome plus Great Orton Download

File Description:
RAF Station Silloth is a former Royal Air Force station located 1 mile (1.6 km) north-east of Silloth, Cumbria, England and 6.7 miles (10.8 km) south-west of Kirkbride, Cumbria. The station was used by RAF Coastal Command during WW2.
I designed this scenery primarily for my own pleasure using Airport Design Editor and FSX SDK. I use FSX Acceleration and Horizon VFR photo scenery but it should work with standard FSX SP2.
This scenery depicts the airfield as closely as i can get it with the available information. I have modelled all of the Airfield buildings as closely as I could with the information available to me and this was done using Sketchup, the models were then converted for use in FSX using Model converter X. It is not 100% accurate and no claim is being made by the author that it is. I have depicted the buildings in wartime camo. All the buildings can be used as as you wish. My only request is that if you should design better textures for them that you let me have a copy, my textures are pretty basic. Some buildings have night lighting, lights and smoke effects, these should be in your FSX effects files already. I have not yet completed the Domestic Site but i may do this in the future...(I've hit the buffers for now though!!)

Included in this scenery pack is the Satellite Airfield RAF Great Orton. Built in 1943 to accommodate the larger bombers now being used by the RAF. This airfield is very sparse as i am unable to get much info about it.

Runways, Taxiways, Watch Office and Ground Signals are all that is included in this scenery pack, along with Sloped flattens, crosswind runways and AGN files. I have included this as a destination for the Bristol Beaufort AI aircraft that i have included with the scenery. The Bristol Beaufort AI is a freeware model from Alphasim and is used with their permission. I have altered the model textures and aircraft file and it works well enough as AI. I have used other scenery libraries within this scenery (mainly to depict the village of Silloth) and these will need to be downloaded from the appropriate sources and activated within FSX.

Eurofighter Typhoon Panel Download

The panel has been developed for FSX Flight Simulator SP1 or SP2. It has also been tested with Microsoft Acceleration, but compatibility is not guaranteed by the author.
This panel has been designed according to a large number of technical documents, descriptions, and pictures out of the Internet. The design goal was to develop a panel and gauges as close as possible to the original aircraft. It was, however by far not possible to programming all the functions and displays, because of the complexity of the real Eurofighter panel, and also because of limitations in FSX.
However, I believe, that the panel with the MFD screen displays gives a good impression on how the real Eurofighter cockpit looks inside.The aircraft model, development by ALPHA/VIRTAVIA, has been used as the base for this panel development. The aim was to go with one model version only , the two seater air to air model. A number of parameter of the aircraft.cfg have been modified to achieve a best possible result of the flight dynamics for the model. It is up to the user to use any other model as this one, and use this panel for it.
For this package, panel and model, I decided to call it the X -Version which shall be seen as an experimental military test version, or if you like, a " Proof of Concept " version. So, you will see a neutral paint with just the Typhoon letters on the aircraft tail. This approach allows to go with deviations and differences to the current technical implementations for the cockpit displays and functions for the Eurofighter.
The panel includes gauges for the afterburner effects, sonic sound effect, callout sounds, weapon explosions effects, and a full functioning TCAS gauge (A future requirement for the Eurofighter), A2A fuel functions, target radar tracking functions and more. The panel has been developed for widescreen monitors only. No VC panel is part of this package.

This is not a load and fly package. Please take your time to read the included panel documentation carefully. Do not skip chapters because you may think, they are not important for you. For copyrights and credits please look at the documentation for this panel.

Graphic Realism and FSX Optimization Download

File Description:
The add-ons configuration step by step Not configured FSX is a pain in the neck for many people. A small number of fps and frequent CTD (crash to desktop) can be extremely annoying or even depressing to some users. A lot of you probably came to a conclusion that it was going to be a losing battle and you gave up after a few fruitless days or you spent money on the FSPS-XTREME FSX PC V2 program, which can automatically do practically everything for us. But what's the point of spending money on something that we can do by ourselves with the help of this handbook? I myself was dealing with the FSX platform three times before I gave up FS9. Microsoft gave out the engine to us, but in order to make sense, our passion involves radical tuning of the device. On the ground of one's own experience and thousands of hours devoted by people to diving into the core of the platform, I'll present a way of installation, add-ons selection and their configuration starting from the installation of the system. Having done the procedures described below, FSX will look beautiful and it'll work smoothly even with challenging sceneries. The entirety is based on quite a popular hardware configuration, which will let us use 85% of the graphic potential of Microsoft Flight Simulator X. We want t to achieve the goal of minimum 25 fps in VC B738 PMDG NGX, with challenging sceneries, flying in the window mode. For the mode the full screen efficiency should reach 33 fps. In this handbook, I'm neither going to describe each and every change made in cfg nor explain what the alterations are to conduce. You will be given a simple and ready recipe which I use myself. I can't guarantee a 100% satisfaction for the poorer equipment computers. I can assure you, however, that FSX will definitely work so much better and playing with FSX sliders or with the size of textures in REX you will be able to obtain the desired effect.

Airlift International C-46 1965 Download

This is a repaint of the C-46 in Airlift International 1965 colors. The freeware C-46 by Libardo Guzman and Tom Gibson is needed for this repaint. My previous uploads were the of Riddle Airline's fleet. This is a continuation of that airline's affairs. Riddle Airlines faced financial difficulties and in June 1962 all services were suspended. This crisis led to a reorganization of the airline in July 1962, under an entirely new management team. Subsequently, the airline was renamed Airlift International on November 29, 1963, and the corporate takeover took effect in March 1964. Airlift, got off on the right foot as they received 31 of Riddle's aircraft. They started international operations to Rome and Milan with their solo DC-8F aircraft, with another DC-8F joining the fleet in June 1964. By 1965 Airlift was on cloud nine as they earned and a net profit of $1,744,907. In 1966 they were able to take over Slick Airways, itself a big cargo carrier. In fact, it was previously the largest all-cargo airline in the USA, in 1951. Also, in 1966 they recorded a net profit of $3 million dollars. Airlift went from strength to strength, posting profits, and enhancing the quality of their fleet. In 1967 they received L-100 Hercules, 727-172Cs, and 707-365Cs. In 1970 however, they had a downturn due to the U.S. recession, and cutbacks in Vietnam airlift operations. For Airlift the 1970s did not allow them to reach the heights of the 1960s. They battled on, but financial problems plagued them that by 1981 Airlift had no physical assets and only $44,000 in cash on hand. They almost collapsed that year, but with restructuring, and a few ups and downs, they survived until 1993, when they eventually ceased operations. This repaint is of an Airlift C-46 (N75388) which was with the airline from 1956 to 1966.Airlift International had a lot of C-46s in their fleet over the years, 48 in total. N75388 was with Airlift from 1963 to 1966. Before that it was with Riddle Airlines from 1956 to 1963. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. Textures are 32bit bmp. It should work on FSX, P3D v1-3, & FS2004.

Parker Airport (70NJ), NJ Download

File Description:
Located 02 miles S of Asbury, New Jersey on 13 acres of land, Parker Airport is a private turf strip located on residential property. This airport is challenging in many ways. For one, when approaching from the southeast the airport is located immediately after a tall ridge, so when topping this ridge at altitude you may not even see the airport over the nose of your aircraft before you overfly it. The runway for this airport is 1600' feet long but it is curved and slightly sloped perpendicular to your roll, so significant rudder will be needed to stay aligned - be careful when operating with any crosswind component! It is highly recommended that you only depart via Runway 25 and arrive via Runway 07 to avoid having to clear significant obstacles prior to landing or after taking off. This airport has no hard-surfaced runway and there is a very noticeable "bump" in the terrain halfway down the runway that will literally bounce your aircraft into the air - I tried my best to smooth it over but could not get rid of it entirely. When taking off make sure you have back pressure applied so your main gear only bounce you high enough to remain within ground effect - hitting your nose wheel can cause an extreme pitch up leading to a stall. Trees close in tight to the runway at the end of Runway 07 or the start of Runway 25, however collision has been disabled with the trees nearest the runway so you can scrape some branches if needed on the takeoff/landing rolls. The author has successfully departed and arrived on both runways in the default Cessna 172 under moderate crosswind from the northeast. This field may definitely require some practice but it is usable!! This airport has no edge lighting, so daytime VFR operations only are recommended. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New York 007. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress #43-97976 "A Bit o' Lace" Download

This folder contains a repaint for the accu-sim version of the A2A B-17G Flying Fortress. It represents #42-97976 "A Bit o' Lace", which was assigned to the 709th BS /447th BG. The nose art consisted of a cartoon by Milton Caniff. The co-pilot was Lt. John Bauman, a fraternity brother of Milton Caniff. He sent Caniff a detailed idea of the proposed artwork and the sketch was returned with Caniff's annotation: "A Bit-O-Lace for Lt. John H. Bauman, and the rest of the gang, with my best wishes - Milton Caniff NY, Oct. 1944". Nicholas Fingelly, an artist attached to the 709th BS, carried out the work and completed the painting in about six hours and gave Milton Caniff full credit for his his character. Her first crew flew 35 missions over Europe with no injuries, although returning with a good many holes, at times. The closest call was when a piece of shrapnel came up through Navigator's table and "Ike" Eisenhart's arms, but missed him. A surprise souvenir for Ike, which he still has. She flew more missions with different crews, until the april 4, 1945 flight. From the navigator, John Kirkwood: "Right over Kiel, and seconds before the bomb release, I heard the co-pilot say that "This airplane feels funny." Seconds later the tail gunner, who had regained his power of speech, blurted out something to the effect that part of "The tail was gone." A flak shell had gone right through the left horizontal tail, leaving only a partial surface, and completely removing the left elevator. We dropped out of the formation, and tried to drop the bombs, but the electrical system failed. We flew north a minute or so, the plane now in the hands of the pilot. The pilot did not want to drop over Denmark, so we turned out over sea, and dropped via screwdriver. Actually, we were over Schleswig-Holstein, according to my position, but it was close, and Tom did not want to chance killing danes. We flew on, at a reduced speed, far out to sea on a west-south-west course with occasional ETA's to the pilot. Several fighters joined us, and finally we got back to the base, and the runway was cleared for us. A decision had to be made by the pilot: To jump or ride her in.. Tom decided that he could land the plane, so we all congregated to the radio room, and that was that. I might add that none of us had any desire to jump. Most of the photos of 976 were taken after repairs, hence the dark colored rudder and left elevator. As you know, the color prior to the damage was silver. 976 flew one or two missions after that, but I never saw her again, other than in a color photo of the moth-balled fleet in Arizona." Virgin Galactic Boeing 747-8i Download

FSX Boeing 747-8i Virgin Galactic with advanced VC by Alejandro Rojas Lucena and VC Textures Upgrade by Enrique Cornejo, founder of the Flightsim Workshop Project. This gives the b747 a payware Virtual Cockpit look and now with green leather tapestry on the sides of the seats. It even has a pilot jacket hanged in the rear of the cockpit (besides the right jumpseat). The panel.cfg and the aircraft.cfg have been assembled and edited by the Flightsim Workshop Team. Now you can pop up "My icons" window in the Virtual Cockpit to easily reach the following windows: GPS, avionics, map, ATC, Climb/Radio Altimeter/Spoiler switch, auto-break switch, throttle quadrant, clock, descent meter, kneeboard and overhead panel. A new feature in My Icons Window I added is a new Pitot Heat switch with ON and Off features, (XML gauge by Enrique Cornejo). cold weather, the Pitot Heat switch works just like in real life, so if its turned off the air speed indicator will stop working, so make sure you turn the Pitot Heat switch on before taking off! The autopilot ON switches have green lights which make them look more realistic. Center ATC identification in this aircraft is "Boeing 747". We have also fixed the position of the strobe lights so when the aircraft is flying they are in the right place, so turn on the strobe lights switch after take off. The cockpit view from the pilots seat is now more comfortable because the distance between the cockpit and the seat is longer. The aircraft has new engine views (from both wings) and new Virtual Cockpit interior views from the left, right and central jump seats. The brakes has a differential brake system to make smoother turns in ground. The Virgin Galactic Spaceship texture is wonderful and it has a unique paint scheme by Enrique Cornejo which also includes details such as some stains caused by humidity in the fuselage and the wing flaps and other details just like a real aircraft. Real smoke in the four engines, just select key, more cabin views, realistic cockpit and engines sound & more realistic night VC lights and fuselage night textures, in the VC just select key and reset the overhead Instrument panel light dim switch in the overhead panel. The aileron parameters have also improved, so now the right and left turns are smoother. This aircraft uses the Project Opensky FSX Boeing B747-800 Model OSX748V4_GENX(MDL), and includes the gauge window Posky Utility to view the main stairs, ground cargo servicing, etc. The engine sounds are edited like the real ones with cockpit ambient, so you can enjoy a pleasant flight. The Flight Management Computer (FMC) is fixed and looks like a payware instrument. The VC includes FMC, Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multi-Function Display (MDF) displayed in the correct size. The virtual cockpit also has an Engine-Indicating and Crew-Alerting System also known as EICAS, Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), working wipers, cabin lights, fire suppression, avionics switch, fuel cross feed, and you can identify those instruments in the overhead panel because they are bordered with color lines. You can also find landing lights switches, taxi light switch, engine generators, APU generator, battery switch, starter switches, de-ice switch, general lights switches which are a great work of Alejandro. So now the whole cockpit and texture upgrade with all these improvements looks better than a payware version. The clock numbers are now in orange which makes them look better and easily recognizable. B-2A Spirit Stealth Bomber Download

The B-2A Stealth Bomber is the most sophisticated aircraft on the planet. She is essentially a “Flying Wing” platform with no V-Tail, and is controlled by pre-programed flight computers stationed in various positions within the crew cabin and wings. There is one main computer that controls the aircraft, with two redundant back-up computers assigned to it in case of failure. All additional computers are assigned to functions involving flight control, system monitoring, data communications, and radar. Engine and Aerodynamic effects are controlled by these computers which serve several actuators and ailerons, including the spoilerons, which further compensate for the lack of a V-Tail. In theory, and because of these computers, the aircraft is “Stall-Proof”. The only way it can stall is if the computers fail. There is no way she can be flown without the computers active. The REAL aircraft does almost everything based on pre-programed data, other than taxi to the runway (although this is also possible to program). Before each flight, the Mission is designed and then assigned to the Mission Flight Box (Portable Computer) which is then carried by the Commander to the aircraft, and the data from the box is “transferred” to the main on-board computers. Because of this, the B-2 cannot be flown until the box is ready for the mission, and pilots cannot simply jump in and fly her, with the exception that the data is transferred via satellite. Everything is pre-planned, and this takes several hours. Once the data is on-board, the taxi can begin. When lined-up on the runway, all the pilot needs to do is push a button or three. Everything else is computer controlled until landing. The aircraft CAN be flown manually with basic data inputs into the main computer systems, but even in that case it is not conventional. If a pilot wants to turn right, he sets the data to turn to a certain degrees of heading. The same with climb and descent, speed increase or decrease. A pilot cannot over-ride the computers in any case, so steep banks, climbs, or descents cannot be forced. There is a lot of space for the two member crew within the cockpit, but there is also a space reserved for one observer. This additional seat is known as “Suicide Position” because there is no ejection seat for that observer. In the event of a mishap, the observer can try to bail-out through the ejection hatches after the pilots, or can try the exit ramp door, or the bomb bay as an exit route. The odds of escape for the observer are very small, but he has a parachute as reassurance. Otherwise, what the crew does during missions is only a guess, since they really don't have to do anything unless an alarm goes off. Since the plane flies so smooth, we can only imagine what sort of things they may dream-up to entertain themselves during a long flight. High altitude flights are conducted at night mainly due to the obvious contrail such a flight will exhibit during the day with such hot engines. The engines are encased in a heat absorbing shield material (still exhaust exists), and the rest of the plane is coated with Radar absorbant material, with the additional low profile effect of the aircraft design itself. If it can be seen by the ground or a fighter, it can be attacked by fighters or the ground. During daytime flight they will stay below the contrail level, and monitor the radar systems in preparations for counter-measures. If a fighter can visually observe them, the fighter may be able to shoot them down with bullets from behind, but not likely with missiles because of the sophisticated counter-measures available. On Radar the aircraft appears the size of a pigeon, until about 8 to 10 miles away, which would be too late to counter from the ground, so most attacks are either done at night or during the day at very low altitude. Upon landing the aircraft is automated down to about 200 feet AGL, when the pilot takes command. All she/he does at this point is allow her to glide down and contact the runway, and retard the engines. Brakes are used to slow, then the computers are turned off, and the pilot can control the throttles, nose gear, and brakes. The Commander watches for obstructions, mainly, and communicates with the tower and ground crew. Everything in this model has been reconfigured to meet realistic standards, without any tricks or flight tuning, and following real world aerodynamic principals and available data, including MOI. The panel requires study before use, but very realistic. The sounds are very authentic. There is no other model offered anywhere that compares to what you have now available in front of you. Please read and study the Readme.txt file within the main folder before attempting to fly this 2.2 Billion Dollar aircraft. Yes, that's correct ... $2,200,000,000 each!
