This package contains two repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. Featured is the C-54A (modified to DC-4 standard) N57670 of Resort Airlines: one repaint representing the aircraft around 1956, the other at the end of its open air storage in 1961. Resort Airlines Inc (of Washington, DC, and Oakland, CA) was a US non-scheduled carrier that specialised in the operation of inclusive holiday tours to the Caribbean and also in military charter flying (Logair). The airline was operative between 1945 and 1960. Its fleet comprised of Curtiss C-46, Lockheed 1049H Super Constellation and Douglas DC-4/C-54 aircraft. Around 1961-62 five C-54s which had been stored at Oakland for some time, ranging from several months to 6 years, were rescued by Aviation Traders (of Southend and Stansted, England) from the scrapdealer's axe and converted to ATL.98 Carvair car-ferry and cargo aircraft. N57670, which was active with Resort during 1954-1956 only and had been deteriorating during the open air storage, was one of these lucky birds.

This package contains two repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. Featured are the C-54A's (modified to DC-4 standard) G-AOFW and G-AREK in the colours of British United Airways in 1961.
In December 1955 Freddie Laker's Air Charter acquired the C-54A G-AOFW 'Jason' for transport work in Germany and trooping flights from Stansted to Cyprus. In 1959 the aircraft was moved from trooping flights to service on the route Southend to Calais flying passengers on one-day trips without a passport till 1 July 1960 when Air Charter was merged into British United. In April 1963 Aviation Traders (Engineering) Ltd started converting G-AOFW to ATL.98 Carvair car-ferry aircraft. The first flight as a Carvair took place from Stansted on 11 February 1964. C-54A G-AREK was purchased by British United Airways in August 1960. The aircraft was earmarked to become a Carvair. Conversion started in December 1961. The first flight as a Carvair (all-cargo version) took place from Stansted on 2 November 1962.

Railroad Valley is our oldest scenery project and by far the largest. It was originally released for FS2000 and version 2 was used in the Battle of the Airlines 2003 online race. It is a follow on to our series of fictional airports and surrounding areas that we call Flight Centers, such as our popular Malibu Flight Center 2. Included in the package is our centerpiece - Flight Center 3 at Echo Canyon and Flight Center 4 at Lunar Lake. Flight center 3 is our prime military headquarters, and functions as an aircraft manufacturing and flight test center all in one. It's much like a combined version of Edwards AFB and Palmdale Air Force Plant 42 in real life. Flight Center 4 is loosely based off of the High-technology Aerospace Warfare Center (or HAWC) from the earliest Dale Brown novels. The bases lie roughly 50 miles north of Area 51, Groom Lake, Nevada, and are just outside of the Nevada Test Site and the Nellis Air Force Range. In addition there are many other airports and flying locales too numerous to mention here. Full documentation contained within. | NIGAT & KNILM Douglas C-54A **UPDATED VERSION** |

This package contains three repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. In 1946 four ex-USAAF C-54A's were delivered by the USA to the Netherlands Indies Government Air Transport service (NIGAT) and based at Kemayoran near Batavia (now Indonesia's capital Jakarta). Initially they wore military serials, but soon civil registrations were allotted (PK-DSA, PK-DSB, PK-DSC and PK-DSD). Very soon they were chartered by the "reborn" KNILM Royal Netherlands Indies Airways for the weekly service between Batavia and Los Angeles. However, this service lasted only a very few months. By August 1947, when KNILM ceased to exist and was integrated into KLM, the C-54A's were taken over by KLM as PH-TSA through PH-TSD. Their career with KLM was shortlived, as they were sold to airlines elsewhere. Featured are the C-54A's PK-DSB with KNILM titles, PK-DSC with Netherlands Government Air Transport titles, and PK-DSD with NIGAT titles. These are textures only. They replace the textures released in 2013 which have turned out to be in the wrong colour, a problem if one only had a very few, bad quality b/w pictures as a source. | RAF Driffield |

File Description:
The site was first opened in 1918 by the Royal Air Force (RAF) under the name of RAF Eastburn, before closing in early 1920. However, in 1935 a new airfield was built for the RAF initially training bomber crews before closing in 1977 when the site was turned over to the Army for use as a driving school being renamed Alamein Barracks.
The army used Driffield as a driver training centre, until RAF Leconfield (which was also taken over by the Army in 1977) was enlarged to accommodate those who lived and trained at Driffield. In 1992, the RAF regained ownership of this historic aerodrome, naming it: RAF Staxton Wold – Driffield Site. Once again, the RAF ensign flew over Driffield, but not for long. In 1996, the RAF itself transferred its own personnel and facilities to RAF Staxton Wold, thus bringing an end to 60 years of service. On 28 June 1996, the RAF ensign was lowered for the last time, bringing to an end RAF Driffield. It is used as a CTC (cadet training centre) for army cadets and houses 873 Driffield Squadron air training corps

File Description:
Originally built as an RAF Bomber Command station the airfield was grass-surfaced and located on slightly rolling land with a hard surface perimeter track.
Initially it was used by aircraft of No. 21 Squadron RAF and No. 82 Squadron RAF (No. 2 Group) Bomber Command. They carried operations over France and later the Netherlands and even Norway. Their Bristol Blenheim IVs were joined on occasions by, in May 1941, 90 Squadron evaluating its new Boeing Fortress Mk 1s some Handley Page Hampdens for mining operations. 90 Squadron suffered heavy casualties and the use of the Fortress I was discontinued. Towards October 1942, the Blenheims were changed to Lockheed Venturas but the squadron moved on to RAF Methwold before the Venturas were operational.
RAF Bodney was transferred to the United States Army Air Forces in the summer of 1943. Placed under the jurisdiction of VIII Fighter Command of Eighth Air Force, it was primarily the home of the 352d Fighter Group, the "Blue Nosed Bastards of Bodney". The unit briefly moved to Belgium in January 1945 due to the Battle of the Bulge, although it returned in April. It was closed after the 352d returned to the United States in November. This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of PH-PBA. It was built as c/n 19434 and went to the 8th Air Force as 42-100971. She served among other during Operation Market Garden. After the war, she was obtained by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands and registered as PH-PBA in 1946. In 1947, the Rijksluchtvaartdienst (RLD, Civil Aviation Authoroties) took her on charge, and from then on she served as the first Dutch Government aircraft, used mainly to fly the Dutch Royal family, often with Prince Bernhard as pilot. In 1961 she was replaced by a Fokker F-27, but continued to be used by the RLD, in the paintscheme presented here. In 1975, she was transferred to the Aviodome museum at Schiphol airport, where she stood outside for 20 years. Prince Bernhard always lobbied for a return to airworthiness for PH-PBA, and in 1995 she reappeared on the Dutch register. She is currently flying with the Dutch Dakota Association, in a combined KLM - Air France paintscheme. EPGO Goraszka 2010 - The Airshow Challenge is a freeware, extremely detailed scenery of a general aviation airport located 12nm (20km) south-east of Warsaw downtown and Warsaw Frederic Chopin International Airport, Poland. EPGO Goraszka airfield was built in 1994 and currently belongs to General Aviation company, which offers aero-taxi flights, air transport and special flights (air photo, patrol) and airport services. The airport has a 800m-long runway and a lightened helipad, which can be used by helicopters up to 5700kg weight. General Aviation's fleet includes Antonov AN-2, PZL-104 Wilga 80, Bell 407 and 427. Since 1996 the International Air Picnic Goraszka is organized every year by "Polish Eagles" Foundation created on initiative of Zbigniew Niemczycki.
The scenery is equipped with an automatic installer. Currently we support a safe, manual way of adding new sceneries to Scenery Library in Flight Simulator. This is just one thing users need to do for themselves. Detailed instructions will be given during the installation process.

| RAF East Moor |

File Description:
RAF East Moor was opened in 1942 and was originally a 4 Group facility and first hosted No. 158 Squadron RAF which had moved from RAF Driffield on 6 June 1942. The squadron flew the Handley Page Halifax Mk. II with detachments at RAF Beaulieu and RAF Manston before moving to RAF Rufforth on 6 November 1942.
Royal Canadian Air Force use
The first squadron was No. 429 Squadron RCAF which formed at the airfield on 7 November 1942 initially only flying the Vickers Wellington Mk.III until January 1943 when the Wellington Mk. X was added. The squadron left on 13 August 1943 going to RAF Leeming where the unit re-equipped with Halifaxes. On 19 September 1943 the next squadron arrived being 432 Squadron which initially used the Avro Lancaster Mk.II before being re-equipped with the Halifax Mk. III in February 1944 and the Mk. VII Halifax in July 1944. The squadron disbanded on 15 May 1945 at the airfield.
The last Canadian squadron to use the airfield was 415 Squadron which flew the Halifax III from 26 July 1944. The unit inherited the additional Mk.VII versions during March 1945 but disbanded shortly after on 15 May 1945 at the airfield.
Royal Air Force use
Not long after the last Canadian squadron disbanded the airfield was handed back to the Royal Air Force (RAF). The first RAF unit to use the airfield was No. 54 Operational Training Unit (OTU) which had moved in during November 1945 flying the de Havilland Mosquito. By May 1946 No. 288 Squadron RAF joined with their Supermarine Spitfire IX's and their Vultee Vengeance Mk. IV's with a detachment at RAF Acklington. The squadron disbanded on 15 June 1946. No. 54 OTU stayed until June 1946 when the unit moved to RAF Leeming but a detachment stayed until 15 November 1946.
The airfield closed to flying in November 1946. Most of the buildings were taken down and the land has reverted largely to agricultural use.

| RAF Supermarine Spitfire Mk IX, French 340 & 345 Squadron |

This packet includes two repaints of the Supermarine Spitfire IX, of Royal Air
Force, which were flown by French airman in the following 2 squadrons:
No. 340 Squadron was formed on 7 November 1941 at Turnhouse as a Free French fighter
squadron equipped with Spitfires. In April 1944 it joined No.145 Wing, Second
Tactical Air Force, a wing made up of French fighter squadrons. The squadron
served with the occupation forces in Germany, before on 25 November 1945 being
transferred to the Armee de l'Air.
The aircraft: serial BS392, code GW-S, was flown by S/Ldr Bernard Duperier,
Duperier flew this Spitfire only rarely in the period from October 25 to November
7 1942.
No.345 (French) Squadron (GC II/2 'Berry') was formed on 12 February 1944 at Ayr,
from French personnel transferred from North Africa. It served with 2nd Tactical
Air Force, taking part in the liberation of Europe in 1944-45. After the war the
squadron remained on the continent, and on 21 November 1945 it was transferred
to the Armee de l'Air. Even in RAF service, French roundels were used.
The aircraft: serial PT766, code, 2Y-A, was flown by Jean-Marie Accart, known under
Nom-de-Guerre 'Bernard', became famous during the campaign in France in 1940.
He commanded GC 1/5 and is credited with 12 German aircraft destroyed.

The Realair repaintkit was used for making this repaint. The following items
were done extra:
- Redone all stencils and added lots more, so far i could find information and pictures on the internet;
- Pilot is repainted completely;
- Redone some bump-maps for some more detail (with RealAir approval);
- Several textures are now HD, 2048x2048 pixel for more detail;
- Improvement of the some details.
