Piper Archer PA28 (N8346H) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
N8346H was a resident of Van Nuys, Californ-I-A. . Built in 1981, she now is owned by Mcpc LLC, a mobile phone accessory company of Wilmington, Delaware. Her main claim to fame though was a prominent role in season 3, episode 3(Always Kiss them Goodbye) of the TV show: The Unit. (2007) It was 'flown' by Scott Foley, as Staff Sergeant Bob Brown who was chasing a 'terrorist' in piper cub with a bio-weapon. Technical aspects (airspeeds, altitudes, etc) were a normal Hollywood stretch, but the air to air photography was nice. The aerial stunt work was good. N8346H was on screen almost 50% of the episode. Now YOU can fly it!

As usual, buy the aircraft from Carenado.com before installing this paint.

U.S. Armed Forces Boeing CH-47D Chinook Version 2.0 Download

File Description:
This is a major upgrade to my recently released CH-47D Chinook U.S. Armed Forces file for FSX. This file has new replacement repaint textures and also incudes the original CH-47D Chinook model by Mark Adams & Tom Woods. You do not need to download the old version in order to use this file - no other files are necessary. This upgrade contains vast improvements including newly compressed texture files for significantly improved performance and space savings with minimal impact to image quality. All repaints now include actual unit markings and improved olive drab color. Pilots also now have appropriate unit markings. The two Army Chinooks carry unit markings for the 1st Cavalry, 2nd Battalion, 227th Air Regiment - this unit is currently active and provides troop and equipment transport and medivac for the 1st Cavalry - Air Mobile. The Marine Chinooks now carry markings for the 3rd Marine Air Wing. Special thanks to Delizisis Thanasis and Delizisis Panagiots for use of their textures as a painting template. The Original Model belongs to Mark Adams & Tom Woods, the reworked Flight Dynamics to Marwan Latif, the panel and the textures to Delizisis Thanasis and Delizisis Panagiots. United States Armed Forces texture repaints by Mike Lanza.

RAF Attlebridge - Norwich, Norfolk, England Download

File Description:
RAF Attlebridge is a former Royal Air Force station located near Attlebridge and 8 miles (13 km) northwest of Norwich, Norfolk, England. RAF Attlebridge was an early wartime station, laid out for use by No. 2 Group RAF light bombers, and was completed in August 1942. The airfield was used by No. 88 Squadron RAF from August 1941 to September 1942 using Bristol Blenheim IVs and Douglas Bostons. The Station had runways of 1,220, 1,120 and 1,080 yards length but, when the base was earmarked for USAAF use, these were extended and the airfield was enlarged to meet heavy bomber requirements. The main E-W runway was increased to 2,000 yards and the others to 1,400 yards each. The perimeter track was also extended and the number of hardstands was increased to fifty. In enlarging the airfield, several small, country roads were closed in the parish of Weston Longville, in which the larger part of the airfield was sited. RAF Attlebridge was assigned to the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) Eighth Air Force's 2nd Bomb Wing on 30 September 1942. It was given USAAF designation Station 120.
Third party add-on scenery will be required - see readme for details.
