Thanks to Andrew Spring of www.p166.com!! The Piaggio P-180 Avanti is a Luxury Jetprop. Its design is the result of a "thinking outside the box" project philosophy. It means that building techniques are standard while aerodynamics are unique for it's kind. It features a three lifting surface design, laminar flow wing and twin pusher turboprop configuration. Passenger comfort features the possiiblity of standing in feet inside the plane, low noise due to pusher propellers and "Pininfarina" designed arrangement. Performances are unique too, cruising at 395 KTAS (260 KIAS) at 28000 ft, a jet-like speed, being the P-180 a twin turboprop. The result is a 40% reduced operational cost respect to a jet of similar size, and 30% less respect to a similar size turboprop, all at same price of a small Jet. This model is 804 Kbs with c.a. 19000 polygons in c.a.170 assemblies. This folder contains a repaint for the 'Little Friends' package of the Warbirdsim P-51D Mustang in the colors of #44-14402 OS-H "Barbara" as flown by Captain Fred R. Haviland Jr of the 357th FS/355th FG, based in Steeple Morden, UK. He finished the war with a total score of 6 destroyed, 2 damaged in the air and 6 destroyed, 3 damaged on the ground. The aircraft was lost on on 26 February 1945, with Lt Hardee being KiA.
Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Warbirdsim.

This file contains a repaint for the Warbirdsim P-51B Fighter Leader X package, in the colors of North American P-51B-10-NT Mustang, #43-24852, 52, flown by Lt. Arthur Albin, 319th FS, 325th FG, 15th AF, Italy, April 1944. The aircraft was lost on 12 october 1944 near Budapest while being flown by Lt Videto. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

This is a repaint for the IRIS P-40E Kittyhawk, representing P-40N 44-7195, which flew with 120 squadron of the Royal Netherlands East Indies Air Force from Biak in New Guinea between may 1944 and february 1945. Among it's pilots was the squadron commander, major Maurenbrecher. "Snafu" stands for "Situation Normal, All F***ed Up". Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.
