| Piaggio P-149D FS-X DX9 Edition |

File Description:
This is a re-edition of the Piaggio P-149D with FS-X retail\SP1\2\Accel DX9 compatibility (DX10 users need to convert textures). The original model for FS-2004 is MN_P149D.zip + P149_FIX.zip available on AVSIM & www.mariopilot.6x.to. P_149_fix.zip is already included in this FS-X update.
The Piaggio P-149 is a trainer-laison aircraft. It first flew in June 19th, 1953. I'ts a development of the P-148 model, with increased seat cpacity, tricycle retractable landing gear and a more powerful engine, featuring a three-bladed constant speed propeller. It was mainly used by German Luftwaffe as a training aircraft, that oredred 75 examples in 1955. Later in 1957 another 190 were manufactured under licence by Focke-Wulf. The D version is the one employed by Luftwaffe, while later some few P-149CH variants were used by Swissair as flying schools, and a few P-149U variants, with a new tailplane section to allow more rotation clearance on takeoff were used by Ouganda's Air Force. The P-149 Has a seating capacity of 4 with some examples being certified for 5 (both cases including pilot) and it's fully aerobatic, having G-limits set at +7\-4.5. After training activities ceased with Luftwaffe, several are still flying under civilian operators. This gMAX model features completely 3-D virtual cocpkit and cabin with advanced night lighting and custom special effects, plus a sound package recorded from the real thing. Simulates all systems onboard the real aircraft, coming with panel instructions. Flight Dynamics are built using only real data based on the 1% spreadsheet plus lots of manual tweaking for fine tuning. Read Notes before flying please... Enjoy!

This folder contains a repaint for the 'P-51D-5-NA Little Friends' package of the Warbirdsim P-51D Mustang in the colors of #44-13554 C3-P "Roscoe II" as flown by Captain James N. Brink of the 382nd FS/ 363rd FG. Lt Hudson went MIA flying this aircraft on 13 august 1944.
Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Warbirdsim.

This is a repaint for the Shockwave World War II Fighters P-51D Mustang, depicting "WD-P Rita Marie" a P-51 flown by Major Robert Ackerley of the 335th Fighter Squadron, 4th Fighter Group, based in Debden, UK. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on textures by Milan Zejdlik. This repaint works in FS2004 as well, as do my other repaints of the 335th.

This is a repaint of the A2A Simulations excellent P-47D Razorback. These textures represent an aircraft of the 5th Emergency Rescue Squadron, 8th Air Force, 65th FW based at Boxted Airfield, UK. The P-47s assigned to this unit were war-weary and were used for air sea rescue operations. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need the A2A Simulations WOP3 P-47D Razorback payware package.

A texture set of the Lockheed P-3A aircraft operated by VX-1. This paint represents P-3A, BuNo 148885, for the Air Development Squadron ONE based at NAS Key West (Boca Chica) as it was in 1968.
The textures are in .dds DXT5 format for FSX. The freeware Lockheed P-3C ORION FSX V3.2.zip by KBT is required for this repaint. Paint by Joe Bowers

SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present our brand new radial engine Douglas DC-3 Pratt and Whitney R-1830 sound pack for FSX! This sound could also be used for other twin engine P&W R-1830 powered aircraft such as the PBY Catalina/Canso.
FSX's sound cone technology has been extensively used to provide as much of a realistic sound experience as possible in the exterior view. Features include propwash sound effects from immediately behind the propeller, realistic radial engine start-up sounds, and a very realistic sounding fly-by! SkyHigh Audio Simulations' usual touches have been added such as using audio recordings only from Dogulas DC-3 and other P&W R1830 radial engine powered aircraft as source files to provide a fully authentic sound experience for the simmer.
