North American Mustang III FZ152 S-S Download

This folder contains a repaint for the P-51B/C model for FSX by Warbirdsim. North American Mustang Mk.III, FZ-152 SS, the aircraft of Wing Commander Stanislaw Skalski when he was the C/O of 133 (Polish) Fighter Wing in June 1944. He was the first allied ace of the war, having shot down six german aircraft by 16 september 1939. After the Polish defeat, he fled Poland and joined the RAF, fighting in the battle of Britain. In 1942, he was given command of the Polish Fighting Team (PFT), or so called "Cyrk Skalskiego" (Skalski's Circus) - a Special Flight consisting of fifteen experienced Polish fighter pilot volunteers. They fought in the North African campaign until may 1943. Skalski then became commander of 601 (County of London) Squadron the first Pole to command an RAF Squadron. He then took part in the invasion of Sicily and invasion of Italy. From December 1943 to April 1944 he flew with 131 Polish Fighter Wing. On 4 April 1944 he was appointed commander of No. 133 Polish Fighter Wing flying the Mustang Mk III. Stanislaw Skalski was the most successful Polish ace of WW II, with a record of 22 confirmed victories, 1 probable, and 1 damaged enemy aircraft. Three times he was awarded the British DFC, and he received many other medals. After the war he returned to Poland in 1947 and joined the Air Force of the Polish Army. In 1948 however he was arrested by the communist regime under the false charge of espionage. Sentenced to death, he spent three years awaiting the execution, after which his sentence was changed to life imprisonment in Wronki Prison. After the end of Stalinism in Poland, in 1956 he was released, rehabilitated, and allowed to join the military. He served at various posts in the Headquarters of the Polish Air Forces. Stanislaw Skalski died in Warsaw on 12 November 2004. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the warbirdsim paintkit.

NIGAT & KNILM Douglas C-54A **UPDATED VERSION** Download

This package contains three repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. In 1946 four ex-USAAF C-54A's were delivered by the USA to the Netherlands Indies Government Air Transport service (NIGAT) and based at Kemayoran near Batavia (now Indonesia's capital Jakarta). Initially they wore military serials, but soon civil registrations were allotted (PK-DSA, PK-DSB, PK-DSC and PK-DSD). Very soon they were chartered by the "reborn" KNILM Royal Netherlands Indies Airways for the weekly service between Batavia and Los Angeles. However, this service lasted only a very few months. By August 1947, when KNILM ceased to exist and was integrated into KLM, the C-54A's were taken over by KLM as PH-TSA through PH-TSD. Their career with KLM was shortlived, as they were sold to airlines elsewhere. Featured are the C-54A's PK-DSB with KNILM titles, PK-DSC with Netherlands Government Air Transport titles, and PK-DSD with NIGAT titles. These are textures only. They replace the textures released in 2013 which have turned out to be in the wrong colour, a problem if one only had a very few, bad quality b/w pictures as a source. You will need the FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (DC4_V30X.ZIP). Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

File Description:
Gunateeta Air Shuttle is owned by Ingur Sing, an old pilot who flew for many years as co-pilot for India Airways. One day he desided to quit the airline and open his own business with an Auster which he bought for 70,000 Rupies of that time. He flew passengers and cargo to many towns with just a grass strip near Bombay, for about 10 years. He now now owns two DH 104 Doves and since he is too old to fly them he hires pilots that have the needed credentials who fly his planes to small towns that now have a small airfield but are way out in some rugged areas. The regular flight is that which leaves Bombay late in the afternoon, around 4:45PM and flies on to Kurpikang, Majuri, Churpikur and finally stops in ::::::::: where the last passengers disembarc. Here the plane is loaded with flowers and rubber plants that must be flown to Bombay where they will be transfered to the late night Flight to N.Y. by Air India...the flowers must be next day in "Bulby Sing" flower shop in Manhattan---that´s Ingur´s sister business in America..... So, Piloto you have the flight this evening...get over

737NG Normal Procedures Non-APU version Download

After some input and ideas from a fellow FS2Crew pilot here is a non-APU version of my flow and checklist to even closer mimic real world OPs the way many big airlines operate in real life every day at big airports around the world where the use of APU is limited to only a short period of time a couple of minutes before engine start. I also (don't I always ;-)) did some other changes and what I think improvements since my last version so give it a try and see what you think! About fitting the list on 2 A4 pages when printing it from WordPad please set all your margins to 25 mm in WordPad and uncheck the option to print the page numbers. This time I will not ask the AVSIM Library Managers to replace my old version with this one since some of you might still want the version where the APU is used depending on what kind of flights you do and to what kind of airports. Instead this will be uploaded as a new and separate version. A flow/checklist for flying PMDG's 737NGX with FS2Crew Voice Edition. Did this mainly for my own use meaning the flow/checklist is adjusted for how I do my flying and with the addons I use like Aerosoft AES for example. Please also be aware this is not the kind of flow/checklist that includes all things you need to perform during a normal flight but instead you are expected to already have a general knowledge of both the NGX and FS2Crew. However I thought others might be helped by this too both newbies to get you going with the "flow" using FS2Crew but also for the more experienced users as a simple to print out and use memory note. It's also easy for you to change whatever you like to suit your own needs better since I created it in common rtf format using the standard Wordpad Windows application. I deliberately made it as compressed as possible leaving out stuff like all the answers to the checklists etc so it would fit on a single A4 sheet being easy to print and maybe also laminate if you like. Hope you'll enjoy it!

FSX/P3D Ethiopian Airlines 707-379C 1968 Download

This is a repaint of the 707-379C in Ethiopian Airlines colors. The payware 707-300C by Captain Sim is needed for this repaint. Ethiopian Airlines was established in 1946 by the Emperor Haile Sellassie, and TWA which provided technical and managerial support. Regular operations commenced on April 8 1946 with a fleet of 6 ex USAAF DC-3s. Later in 1950, 2 Convair CV-240s entered the fleet. Then in 1958, the first DC-6B arrived on the scene. On January 1 1959 Ethiopian officially became a member of IATA. The first jet services started in 1963 after the delivery of the carrier's first Boeing 720s. The 720s replaced the DC-6Bs on the European routes. In 1964, Ethiopian started a new pilot training school, installed a large IBM computer system, and also established the largest jet overhaul facility in Africa. 707s, 727s, and 737s, joined the fleet in the ensuing years. Today Ethiopian ranks as Africa's supreme air carrier with a safe and reliable service, notwithstanding the 737 Max 8 tragedy, and has a vast route network. The cherry on top was when in 2014, Ethiopian dethroned South African Airways as the "Best African Airline". Textures are 32 bit dds and DXT5 textures are included as well. This repaint was tested FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3Dv1-3.

RPLC - Diosdado Macapagal International Clark International, Philippines Download

File Description:
This Afcad/AFD for RPLC - Diosdad Macapagal International Airport (previously Clark International Airport and Clark AFB) in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines was made with ADE V1.37 and is for the default RPLC airport in FSX. Diosdado Macapagal International Airport is currently a significant low cost carrier and UPS hub for the Philippines and is under development - ultimately intended to replace Ninoy Aquino Airport, Manila (RPLL) as the Premier Gateway to the Philippines. Domestic traffic is currently limited to Cebu Pacific and South East Asian Airlines. The airport handles international traffic - AirAsia, Asiana, Tiger Airways, Hong Kong Express, Hong Kong Airlines and Transglobal - including their recently launched flights to Dhaka and Fujairah - as well as international flights for Asian Spirit to and from Seoul. Cargo use includes a very significant UPS hub, Yangtze River Express, Transglobal and Pacific East Asia Cargo Airlines. Philippine Air Force C-130's are also frequent visitors. Aprons and taxiways have been changed as needed, additional cargo and airline specific maintenance aprons added, taxiways surfaced correctly, gates and parking spaces coded for airlines and aircraft types using the airport. Many buildings have been changed to be more representative of the real thing. The default airport lacks coding and sees little of the actual traffic coming to RPLC. Use of this file increases traffic and places them where they should park. Tested with WOAI, MAIW's Exotic Alberts Package Philippines Part 1 and custom AI.

EGXJ - RAF Cottesmore - Rutland, England Download

File Description:
RAF Cottesmore (ICAO EGXJ) is a former Royal Air Force station in Rutland, England, situated between Cottesmore and Market Overton.

The Stationed opened on 11 March 1938 and was used mainly for training, and the first squadrons were equipped with Vickers Wellesley aircraft, but soon converted to Fairey Battles. Later RAF Bomber Command took over the airfield, again as a training station, flying Handley Page Hampdens. These units remained in residence until a few days before the outbreak of war in 1939 when they were sent to RAF Cranfield to serve as a pool providing replacements for combat losses. Their place at Cottesmore was taken by Nos. 106 and 185 Squadrons, moving in from RAF Thornaby with Hampdens. However, with the outbreak of war, the aircraft and crews were sent to locations in the north and west, as enemy air attacks were expected over the southern half of England. As these never materialised, the Hampdens returned in the spring of 1940 and No. 185 Squadron became the Hampden operational training unit, No. 14 Operational Training Unit RAF.

RAF Cottesmore's Hampdens' first trespass into hostile airspace was a leaflet dropping operation over northern France. In October 1940, 106 Squadron moved to RAF Finningley while No. 14 OTU remained training crews for Bomber Command, its Hampdens and HP.53 Herefords being replaced by Vickers Wellingtons in 1942. Training continued for three years and three months until August 1943 when No. 14 OTU moved to RAF Market Harborough.

In early December 2009, it was announced the station would close due to funding cut-backs, in part to help pay for additional helicopters for British operations in Afghanistan.
In 2010, No. 4 Squadron RAF disbanded, with No. 20 Squadron RAF re-badging as No 4 (Reserve) Squadron.
The station became a satellite to RAF Wittering on 31 March 2011 with a civic parade and flypast to mark the disbandment of No 1 Sqn RAF, 800 NAS, 801 NAS and JFH.
In July 2011 Defence Secretary Liam Fox announced plans for it to be the airfield for one of five of the Army's Multi-Role Brigades. In April 2012 it was renamed Kendrew Barracks after Major General Sir Douglas Kendrew.

Douglas C-47 (VH-AGU) Adastra Aerial Surveys Download

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47 VH-AGU of Adastra Aerial Surveys. It was originally constructed for the USAAF in 1944 as a C-47B-35-DK and allocated the military serial 44-76336. In February 1945 it was acquired by the RAAF and allocated the serial A65-72. Operated until 1959, it was then sold to Adastra Airways and converted for civil use. In October 1964 the aircraft was re-registered to Sepal Pty Ltd, but in October 1969 it was acquired by Adastra Aerial Surveys Pty Ltd. Adastra Aerial Surveys was acquired by East-West Airlines Ltd in April 1973 and VH-AGU was re-registered to East-West Airlines on 12 November 1974. East-West won the MLS trials support contract in December 1974 and VH-AGU was re-painted in East-West colours at Tamworth in the month prior to positioning at Melbourne/Essendon for the commencement of the contract on 25 January 1975. At some stage in the late 1970s the aircraft was transferred to South Coast Aviation, another East-West subsidiary. The aircraft was withdrawn from service in August 1979 at Essendon at the conclusion of its Departmental charter, and sold to Aerodyne Pty Ltd of Moorabbin. Since then, it has had several owners, and is still airworthy, flying in a USAF Vietnam war scheme from Morwell, Victoria. RAF Keevil Download

File Description:
The airfield was built on a site previously ear-marked for the purpose in the mid-1930s. Consisting of 3 long concrete runways the airfield was used by the Royal Air Force and the United States Army Air Forces Eighth and Ninth Air Forces. In 1942 Keevil airfield was provided to the USAAF and it was assigned USAAF designation 471 (KV). Squadrons based at the unit transported military freight and supplies using C-47 and C-53 aircraft. RAF Fighter Command use Short Stirlings of Nos. 196 and 299 Squadrons RAF lining the runway at RAF Keevil on the evening of 5 June 1944 before emplaning paratroops of the 5th Parachute Brigade Group for the invasion of Normandy With the departure of the Americans, the RAF used Keevil beginning in March 1944 for 196 and 299 Squadron Short Stirling glider tugs of No. 38 Group RAF arrived followed by a large number of Horsa gliders, crewed by Army pilots of the Glider Pilot Regiment. The RAF Stirling aircraft were crewed by RAF, RCAF, RAAF, RNZAF and SAAF personnel and were engaged in SOE and SAS drops. largely in France, and in glider towing. Their involvement in the Normandy invasion of France and Operation Market-Garden is well remembered by Keevil and Steeple Ashton villagers. Casualties of army and air force personnel were heavy and a number of aircraft were lost. With the end of military control, Keevil airfield is virtually complete with all of its runways, perimeter track and many of the hardstands still in place. It is used occasionally for British Army and RAF exercises. The airfield is still frequently used by the RAF for training purposes such as air drops and parachuting, the gate is always locked and access is restricted to authorized key holders only. The airfield is also used as a motorsport circuit for various events. It is also the home of the Warminster and District Radio Control flying club. In September 1994 the Keevil Society, organised by Paul Vingoe, held a Commemorative Day to mark the 50th anniversary of the D-Day and Arnhem operations and to dedicate a memorial to all who served at Keevil, especially those who flew from there and lost their lives.
