This folder contains a repaint for the De Havilland DH89 Dragon Rapide by Dave Garwood. It shows Dragon Rapide #6648 ZK-BCP of South Island Airways. This Dominie had served with the RNZAF as NZ524 before being civilianized as a Dragon Rapide in 1953 for South Island Airways. ZK-BCP was sold in Australia in 1975 becoming VH-BGP. It was once part of the ill-fated Wangaratta Airworld Museum.It is now owned by Bruce Ivers who is having it lovingly restored (as a long term project) at Croydon Aircraft
Co at Mandeville, near Gore on New Zealand's South Island. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Dave Garwood.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the De Havilland DH89 Dragon Rapide by Dave garwood. It shows Dragon Rapide DH89A #6259 in the colors of RAAF A33-1. The former ZK-ACO, it was registered VH-UUO between 1935 and 1940 with several different Airlines. It was impressed into RAAF service in july 1940, taken over from Guinea Airways. Transferred back to civil aviation and re-registered VH-UUO 1942 to Commonwealth Govt. Operated by ANA till it was officially returned to Guinea Airways post war. It flew as VH-UUO till september 1952, although it was damaged in may 1952 at Tooraweenah NSW. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Dave Garwood.

FSX Olympic Airways Short 330-100 "Isle of Naxos". The Short 330-100 named "Isle of Naxos" and in service with Olympic Airways from 1981 to about 1994. These aircraft was very convenient for short routes between hundreds of Aegean Islands and mainly for their ability to land on short runways. They worked heavily for about ten years, connecting islands and transferring many tourists and citizens to the Continental country and back. Model by Premier Aircraft Design. Aircraft, panel and sound package dynamic VC, custom gauges, passenger view. Repaint in OA colors under permission of PAD by Vangelis Vasilias. No one bothered to make a livery of the airline in its old colors for the Thomas Ruth model, so I might as well try it!
I originally planned on making multiple liveries based off this aircraft, as well as the New Colors of US Airways and the American Airlines Colors. But unfortunately, it would be time consuming.
Thank you to "Mike_V" for letting me borrowing his "US Airways Merger Sticker" from his livery to mine! Visit his profile for other repaints he made for MSFS 2020 / 2024!!
