British United Airways Douglas C-54A Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This package contains two repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. Featured are the C-54A's (modified to DC-4 standard) G-AOFW and G-AREK in the colours of British United Airways in 1961.
In December 1955 Freddie Laker's Air Charter acquired the C-54A G-AOFW 'Jason' for transport work in Germany and trooping flights from Stansted to Cyprus. In 1959 the aircraft was moved from trooping flights to service on the route Southend to Calais flying passengers on one-day trips without a passport till 1 July 1960 when Air Charter was merged into British United. In April 1963 Aviation Traders (Engineering) Ltd started converting G-AOFW to ATL.98 Carvair car-ferry aircraft. The first flight as a Carvair took place from Stansted on 11 February 1964. C-54A G-AREK was purchased by British United Airways in August 1960. The aircraft was earmarked to become a Carvair. Conversion started in December 1961. The first flight as a Carvair (all-cargo version) took place from Stansted on 2 November 1962.

These are textures only. You will need the Jens B. Kristensen FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (DC4_V30X.ZIP). Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

Basler BT-67 repaint textures for Royal Thai Air Force 46-158 in a subdued bluish-gray livery Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
FSX Basler BT-67 repaint textures for the real world Royal Thai Air Force 46-158. For the wonderful Jahn-Fuernkaess-Metzger-Naegele BT-67, which you must have previously installed in FSX. Having worn at least three different liveries between 2004 and 2010 while in service with the Royal Thai Air Force, this subdued dark bluish-gray version of 46-158 dates back to Aug. 26, 2004, the day the photo that this repaint was based on was taken. Although painted as close to the photograph's colors as my previous eye surgeries allow me to perceive, I'm tending to believe that the aircraft is actually more gray than blue. Anyway, the photo can be seen at Airliners.net by entering the photographer's name, Sakpinit Promthep, into their search engine, so you be the judge! Rumor has it that this airframe currently resides in pieces in a hangar at Wittman Regional in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and now affectionately goes by the nickname "44 mag", although I think I'd have to see that with my own eyes to believe it! Includes engine exhaust smoke coordinates for all four exhaust stacks for those of you who like smokey engines. Screenshots enclosed. Easy installation. By Tom Tiedman

Frankfurt Main Airport (EDDF) v7 - auto install Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This major update represents EDDF in the December 2012 timeframe. With the increasing development of the proposed Terminal 3 area now in use as extended apron parking, this update provides operational ramps for G and H gates including ramp parking for both airline and cargo aircraft, helicopter parking at gates H8 and H12, apron night lighting, vehicular traffic etc. In addition this update features a new Gmax custom fuel tank farm along with custom Frankfurt logos, the recently opened A-plus terminal (7 new gates including 4 A380 gates) in October 2012, a new Air Rail Center model and a new set of cargo offices/buildings that have been placed in the South Cargo area as well as the replacement of the standard FSX blast fences with a new Gmax fence model which adds even further realism to this scenery.

Also, a first time feature for this scenery, it now supports GSX (Ground Services for FSX). The G and H aprons have been customized to support GSX functionality with the correct positioning of the ground service vehicles and pushback operations based on scenery topology. The associated airport .ini file is supplied in this package. Default FSX scenery is required. See readme/help file for more details.

Royal Netherlands Navy (Marines) Bell UH-1C Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Nemeth/Milviz Bell UH-1C in Royal Netherlands Navy (Marines) liveries. In the 60's the Royal Netherlands Navy purchased a number of Agusta license built Bell-204 (UH-1B) helicopters for SAR, ASW and light utility tasks. This set of repaints resembles a "What if" Dutch version of the Bell UH-1C. What if the RNLN purchased a line of Bell UH-1C´s beside the fleet´s `Bravo´s in order to support the Dutch Royal Marines on deployment in the former Dutch New Guinea territories in the early sixties. With this line of helicopters maintained in service at other Marines/occupied locations in that timeframe they would have been seen at Zanderij (former Dutch Surinam), Hato (Curacao) and Valkenburg NAS, besides Biak, New Guinea. Though the paint/scematics are fictional, this is what they would have looked like; Olive drab, with Royal Netherlands Navy registration and markings, but with the distinctive Marine Corps logo at the cockpit doors. Some liveries have nose art, pointing back to the rich history of one of the oldest marine corps units in the world (since 1665). You need the payware Nemeth Design Bell UH-1C/H package for FSX in order to use these repaints. Qua Patet Orbis

American Airlines Boeing 777-300ER GE (N718AN) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a repaint of a Boeing 777-300ER, registration code N718AN, operated by American Airlines headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, with scheduled flights throughout North America, the Caribbean, South America, Europe, and Asia. In January 2013, American launched a new rebranding and marketing campaign dubbed, "A New American". In addition to a new logo, American Airlines introduced a new livery featuring an abstract American flag on the tail, along with a silver-painted fuselage, as a throw-back to the old livery. American currently has 13 Boeing 777-300 ERs in service with 7 more on order. This repaint has plenty of clear markings so if you enjoy exterior detail, then you will love this repaint. You can see (and read): Door opening instructions; Static port directions; Air vent warnings; Engine hazard area; No Step warnings; RAT caution; APU intake warning; Stabilizer compartment access; Ground power supply; Forward and aft access door instructions; Pitot, ADA probe, Ice detector and TAT probe markings; Visible rivets; Enhanced window frames; Authentic American logo; Bold, colorful American livery and authentic flags; Lovely American flight attendant; No frame rate hit. To use this repaint, the Captain Sim B777-300 v1.3 is required. Repainted by Garrett Rowley.

Gauges Recovery 1.2 for FSX Download

File Description:
New ! Since version 1.2 Gauges Recovery also fix the problem of compatibility from FS9 add-ons which display all gray and without texture !!! DESCRIPTION: For years I worked on Flight Simulator I realized that many people have problems with showing the gauges panel (black screen) or special effects such as afterburner, smoke or line of condensation occurring after uninstalling an add-on or accidentally deleted files of the simulator. In your Flight Simulator X there is a folder named 'Gauges' it contains files 'gauges' representative board instrumentation for each add-on, such as the autopilot, the horizon indicator etc, if you delete one of these files, your panel will not display the gauge that it was programmed. It is the same for the folder 'Effects' that contains all the special effects in FSX, it sometimes happens that some files in these folders disappear leaving your simulator in a situation where you no longer see your instrument panel (black screens) and afetburner invisible. Under these conditions, you reinstall FSX and lose a lot of time (and patience). So I created Gauges Recovery, a small free utility that will restore all your gauges and effects of origin in less than 10 seconds. With Gauges Recovery, you're sure to get the display of all gauges and effects. This program does restore the original files from Microsoft FSX FSX SP1, FSX SP2 and not the files from other publishers, no changes will be made to these files. Some people see the gauges all black (black screens), unless FSX is installed correctly. The solution to this problem is to install the files MSVCP70.DLL and msvcr70.dll in your 'system32', Gauges Recovery does this automatically for you. Do not look if Gauges Recovery is installed because there is no installation, the program only updates files in FSX and nothing else.

"Janet Airways" Boeing 737-600 BBJ-ER Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
A highly classified small fleet of passenger aircraft known as "Janet" is operated for the United States Air Force to transport military and contractor employees. It mainly serves the Nevada National Security Site (most notably Area 51 (AR51) and Tonopah Test Range (TNX), from their terminal at Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport (KLAS). The planes are also used to fly to/from Air Force Plant 42 (KPMD), Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake (KNID), Hill Air Force Base (KHIF), and Edwards Air Force Base (KEDW). I encourage you to locate, download, and install the AFCAD files or scenery add-ons associated to these airports from any source you desire, but make sure they are designed for FSX. The fleet's "Janet" call sign, from which its de facto name comes, is said to stand for "Just Another Non-Existent Terminal", or more likely "Joint Air Network". Everything is realistic in this model, now, and most simmers know how inaccurate the original FSX 737-800 was. However, this aircraft simulates the accuracy of a 737-600 BBJ-ER, if there ever was one built. I modified everything to fit that aspect, except for the visual model. The engine characteristics are correct as well as all weight/balance and MOI. I even fixed the wheels to be accurate in base, track and pressure size. Everything I've done here is for educational purposes without any expectation of any monetary gain, and offered publicly for free. Read the Readme.txt file for installation and details. All persons involved with this and the original design are credited, unless they are unknown and have offered no credit details. air algerie livery of wilco a340-300 Download

File Description:
air algerie leased an a340-300 from hifly The Airbus A340 is a long-range, wide-body passenger airliner that was developed and produced by Airbus. In the mid-1970s, Airbus conceived several derivatives of the A300, its first airliner, and developed the A340 quadjet in parallel with the A330 twinjet. In June 1987, Airbus launched both designs with their first orders and the A340-300 took its maiden flight on 25 October 1991. It was certified along with the A340-200 on 22 December 1992 and both versions entered service in March 1993 with launch customers Lufthansa and Air France. The larger A340-500/600 were launched on 8 December 1997; the A340-600 flew for the first time on 23 April 2001 and entered service on 1 August 2002. Keeping the eight-abreast economy cross-section of the A300, the early A340-200/300 has a similar airframe to the A330. Differences include four 151 kN (34,000 lbf) CFM56s instead of two high-thrust turbofans to bypass ETOPS restrictions on trans-oceanic routes, and a three-leg main landing gear instead of two for a heavier 276 t (608,000 lb) MTOW. Both airliners have fly-by-wire controls, which was first introduced on the A320, as well as a similar glass cockpit. The later A340-500/600 have a larger wing and are powered by 275 kN (62,000 lbf) Rolls-Royce Trent 500 for a heavier 380 t (840,000 lb) MTOW. The shortest A340-200 measured 59.4 m (195 ft), and could cover 12,400 km / 6,700 nmi with 210–250 seats in 3-class. The most common A340-300 reached 63.7 m (209 ft) to accommodate 250–290 passengers and had a 13,500 km / 7,300 nmi range. The A340-500 was 67.9 m (223 ft) long to seat 270–310 over 16,670 km / 9,000 nmi, the longest-range airliner at the time. The longest A340-600 was stretched to 75.4 m (247 ft), then the longest airliner, to accommodate 320–370 passengers over 14,450 km / 7,800 nmi. As improving engine reliability allowed ETOPS operations for almost all routes, more economical twinjets have replaced quadjets on many routes. On 10 November 2011, Airbus announced that the production reached its end, after 380 orders had been placed and 377 delivered from Toulouse, France. By the end of 2021, the global A340 fleet had completed more than 2.5 million flights over 20 million block hours and carried over 600 million passengers with no fatalities. The A350 is its successor; the McDonnell Douglas MD-11 and the Boeing 777 were its main competitors. Lufthansa is the largest operator and the largest customer with 34 A340 aircraft in its fleet.
