Welcome to the Heart of Idaho!
The mountain country has to be seen to be believed. As one who grew up exploring
this part of the US I had the fortunate opportunity to do things that most just dream about. Who wouldn't want to
swim in hot-spring fed lakes, or pools? Idaho has more hot springs than any other state. Have you ever climbed up
to a pass at 10,000 feet? And then looked down at those who chose not to climb 1500 feet below, looked left at your
brother, and then looked over the pass at the mountain basin that begged to be explored. I did these things 58 years
ago. You can do it tomorrow if you want to.
This FSX adventure will take you to many places I have visited. It will also take you to places that I have not yet
visited. Some of the strips are difficult to get into. That is typical of mountain flying. Some are reasonable.
Your flying skills will be tested as you figure out the best approach.
The simulation consists of 19 airports in Central Idaho. Twelve existing strips have had improvements consisting of
strip surface improvements to allow all-season activity, and some eye candy. Seven new air facilities have been
added to the area.

File Description:
Nestled in deep wilderness at the base of the Cascade Mountains, Hope sits on a wide sweeping curve of the Fraser River. Fly north of Hope and follow the Fraser River through the Fraser Canyon. Fly west through the pass to Harrison Hot Springs. This scenery was compiled from satellite images and photographs of the area. Acreages north of the field have been re-done. The lumber operation to the northeast is all new. All scenery objects are sourced from FSX Deluxe. Incidentally, Hope is the longest grass airstrip in Canada. You have a lot of room for a soft landing. VANCOUVER PLUS is required for this scenery to work.

File Description:
Using freeware -S.O.D.E (see readme), these files place the above named objects (most animated) at Shoreham, Compton Abbas(bigly) and Innsbruck. They appear depending on time, season and weather. eg -grass cutting only on certain fine days in the Summer,Smoke from fires when wind is low and weather clear.
PS - Snowplows not placed on Runways or Taxiways for safety reasons!
A mini tutorial is included so the user can place them (and many other SimObjects in FSX)at the Airports of their choosing.
Snowplows are much upgraded from previous files.

| Tipella Airstrip and Seaplane Base - CBB7 - VAN9 (FSX) |

File Description:
Tipella is located at the top of Harrison Lake in British Columbia Canada right in the middle of some great FSX Scenery. Tipella began its history during the Fraser Canyon gold rush in the 1800’s. In fact, Douglas, just north of Tipella was the second largest settlement on the British Columbia mainland. All objects used are FSX Deluxe. This scenery was compiled from satellite images and photographs of the area. Included are both the airstrip and the dock (VAN9). There is fueling at the dock. Tipella makes a great stop off point for a float plane flight from Harrison Hot Springs to Whistler/Green Lake Seaplane Base. You must have VANCOUVER PLUS in order for this scenery to work.

File Description:
This is an update of JAB_FPSx (already in the AVSIM Library under file name "jab_fpsx.zip". TGhe software was updated by the author on 12/12/2009 under the same exact file name.
This small tool provides a graph of frame rates for all ESP based flight simulators including FSX and P3D versions 1 through 4. It has been tested with P3D version 4.5 Hot Fix 2.
In accordance with the Author's instructions (both on his website and in the README file he included in this software, this software may only be distributed as follows:

File Description:
FSX Aircraft-The ATR 42-500 is one of a family of twin turboprop passenger aircraft developed and manufactured by Avions de Transport Regional (ATR). ATR, with headquarters in Toulouse, is a joint venture company between EADS and Finmeccanica/Alenia Aeronautica. The family consists of the ATR 42 and ATR 72, of which the ATR 42-500 and ATR 72-500 are the models currently in production. The -500 series new generation aircraft is equipped with new engines, new propellers, improved hot and high performance, increased weight capacity and an improved passenger cabin. The 50-seat ATR 42-500 was first certificated in July 1995. Model is private livery with reflective textures, animated control surfaces and passenger and cargo doors. This model is an update for FSX. This is a repaint of Aloha Airlines Vickers Viscount 700D. The freeware Viscount by Jens B. Kristensen is needed for this repaint. Four years after Aloha introduced their first turboprop, the F-27, they added their second type of 'jet-prop' to their fleet; the Vickers Viscount 745D, of which a total of 4 were put in service. However, the hot and humid tropical climate of the Pacific was not an easy arena to operate in for the Viscounts. Even so, they were operated by Aloha from 1963 to their withdrawal in 1971. This Viscount, N7414, was used by the airline from 1963 to 1971. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX. Textures are DDS DXT5. It was not tested on P3D, but it should work on P3D v1-3.

The UHT (from Unterstützungshubschrauber Tiger; Ger. supporting helicopter Tiger) is a medium-weight multi-role fire support helicopter built for the Bundeswehr (German Army).The Tiger UHT is a multi-role fire support helicopter. The Trigat Fire and Forget missiles and/or the Hot missiles it carries offer anti-tank capability, while 68-mm rockets ensure air-to-ground fire support. A 12.7 mm air-to-air gun pod and air-to-air Stinger missiles can also be installed. The helicopter also features a mast-mounted sight with a second-generation IRCCD infrared channel and a TV channel, as well as a nose-mounted IRCCD control FLIR for the pilot. Countermeasures include radar/laser/missiles launch/missile approach warning receivers and decoy launchers.
