| PABT PATA UTO 6A8 (Alaska) Upgrades |

File Description:
This scenery upgrades PABT, PATA, UTO and 6A8 in Alaska. Upgrades include taxiways, hangers, airport buildings, aircraft and ground vehicles, helipads and other objects. It also updates the 2 water runways at PABT as start points which in FSX they aren't start points. The water runway area is updated with marina objects, a float plane dock, float plane support shops and buildings and a private residence with a private dock for boats and float planes. The helipads were an addition because I use Flight 1's heli-traffic and have helo traffic flying back and forth. Future upgrades to several of the small airports in the area will include AI helo and bush plane traffic. File Description:
This is v2 of the OVERLAND SMS gauges upgrade pack.
It fixes several problems found on the first package and adds a few more features.
NEW FEATURES
1. It adds TERRAIN ON ND function, i.e. you can see the map at the ND (see screenshots). It is not very realistic, compered to the real thing, however it does add more realism and eliminates the use of the GPS for ground reference.
2. It adds a complete ILS CAT II & III autoland function to the aircraft. The original file belongs to Stefan Liebe, being modified by Francois
Dore, and finally being fine tuned for use with SMS A330 and A340 by me. It has been tested many times and this is the closest it can get
to the real thing. Now you can have a completely zero visibility landing performed automatically.
3. It provides new style square monitor 2d panels.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-15-RE 42-76181 B4-X "Special Delivery", the aircraft of Lt. Samuel "Sack"Saunders of the 388th FS/ 365th FG. Lt. Saunders came from Wellington, Kansas, and was one of everybody's favorite pilots, always smiling, very sharp and a leader when flying. He shared one victory over an Me 109 with Andy Smoak when the squadron was jumped by Germans on August 19, 1944, and had a solo victory over an FW190 during the turkey shoot on October 21. He chased the 190 over 50 miles before hitting it in the nose, causing the ammunition to explode and the pilot to bail out. "Special Delivery" was destroyed on the ground during operation Bodenplatte, the luftwaffe attack on January 1, 1945. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.
