The Fokker S14 Mach-trainer was the first purpose designed and built, side by side seated, jet trainer. First Flight 19 May 1951. Only 20 were built and used by the Royal Netherlands Air Force from 1955 till 1967.The modelling and texturing is brought to the highest detail possible and a new 2D and Virtual Cockpit added. Paintscheme presented here is as the L-10 operated during the early days with the RNLAF. Features annimated landinggear, flightcontrols, lights, canopy and ground services and a fully functional VC. This issue includes the earlier released fix and superseeds FSX_Fokker_S-14_Machtrainer_RNLAF_L-10.zip.By David Wooster and Emile Lancee.

The Fiat G91Y was a reconnaissance and ground-attack aircraft produced by Italian company FIAT as an evolution of Fiat G91. The first flight took place in 1966. It was a complete redesign, but the major difference was that G91Y installed 2 engines, in order to increase the power and the capability to survive to damages during war operations. The single Bristol Orpheus turbojet engine of G91 was then replaced by two afterburning General Electric J85 turbojets which increased thrust by 60% over the single-engined variant.
Structural modifications to reduce airframe weight increased performance further and an additional fuel tank occupying the space of the G.91T's rear seat provided extra range. Combat manoeuvrability was improved with the addition of automatic leading edge slats.
Flight testing of three pre-production aircraft was successful, with one aircraft reaching a maximum speed of Mach 0.98.
Airframe buffeting was noted and was rectified in production aircraft by raising the position of the tailplane slightly.
An initial order of 55 aircraft for the Italian Air Force was completed by Fiat in March 1971.
The order was increased to 75 aircraft with 67 eventually being delivered.
The first pre-series 'Yankee' (the nickname of the new aircraft) flew in July 1968.
AMI (Italian Air Force) placed orders for two batches, 35 fighters followed by another 20, later cut to ten.
The last one was delivered around mid 1976, so the total was two prototypes, 20 pre-series and 45 series aircraft.
No export success followed.
These aircraft served with 101° Gruppo/8° Stormo (Cervia-S.Giorgio) from 1970, and later, from 1974, they served with
the 13° Gruppo/32° Stormo (Brindisi) until the early '90s, as the only ones equipped with the 'Yankee', using them as attack/recce machines, both over ground and sea, until the AMX replaced them.

File Description:
Initially intended as a satellite station for RAF High Ercall; RAF Wheaton Aston (ICAO X3WA) opened for business on 10 February 1942 when the station was taken over by Flying Training Command and was used by No11 Pilots Advanced Flying Unit (PAFU) at RAF Shawbury as a relief landing ground (RLG).
The Station was used intensely by the Airspeed Oxford and when No 21 PAFU with a large formation of Oxfords some 150 airframes being on charge formed at the station in 1943 the unit had its own (RLGs)
When the PAFU moved to Morton in the Marsh its departure marked the end of RAF Wheaton Aston and the station closed in 1947, and like many war time stations reverted back to farmland.

YCHP Yanchep St Andrews (Closed) was built by the Bond Corporation in the 60's for the development of the St Andrews Estate and Sun City development and has since fallen into disrepair. Alan Bond was a larger than life character and most of Western Australia will still remember his airship or his lear jet flying around Perth. I have placed a windsock and cones to help you find your way around on the ground because there is little else there. In real life, the strip may still look inviting but it is overgrown and most likely not safe. REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip

Each model is a complete package of aircraft, panel with internal views, DVC (Dynamic Virtual Cockpit) and fully modeled luxury passenger cabin. Default Learjet sound, full ground handling module with push back and taxi speed control also included. The visual model includes opening doors and all the usual control surface animations. A comprehensive set of html documents (Check List & Ref List) are included for in-flight information. A separate Panel_Docs folder accompanies this release with panel and systems help files and pilot's notes. The model has been created from scratch in FSDS2.4 & FSDS 3.0

These are a few changes to in-flight or 'pop-up' IFR requests.
These mods clean up the default punctuation a bit, and add the aircraft altitude at the initial IFR request. They remove the "as filed" section of the IFR clearance -- the assumption here (not necessarily so in the real world) is that if you planned to fly IFR enroute, you would have already filed on the ground, and therefore your air-file is an impromptu request. They also add the phrase "cleared direct to [airport] airport, expect radar vectors", which is the closest approximation of what the sim's ATC will actually do.

This folder contains a repaint for the DeHavilland DH98 Mosquito by Dave Garwood, in the colors of Mosquito PR.IV DK310 of no.1 PRU which made a forced landing because of engine trouble in Berne, Switzerland, on 24 august 1942 and was interned. It was evaluated by test filots of the Kriegstechnische Abteilung in Lucerne during 1943, and was later bought by Switzerland in 1944. It was handed over to Swissair and given the registration HB-IMO. It was meant to train Swissair pilots in night flying, but this never came off the ground and the aircraft was returned to the KTA. Its last flight was on 21 august 1946. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Dave Garwood.
