File Description:
With enhanced jetway appearance depending on your scenery complexity settings! EIDW - Dublin Intl - Dublin, Ireland Dublin Airport is the headquarters of Ireland's flag carrier (Aer Lingus), Europe's largest low-cost carrier (Ryanair) and Ireland's regional airline (Aer Arann). Ireland's fourth airline, CityJet, operates flights from the airport. The current Terminal 1 building originally opened in 1972, and was initially designed to handle five million passengers per year. In October 2007, a new pier was opened to the north of terminal 1. This pier caters for the majority of Ryanair flights. In 2009, a new extension featuring new food and retail outlets was added to the side of Terminal 1. Terminal 2 is a 75,000 m2 (810,000 sq ft) terminal and pier (pier E) which provides 19 air bridges for aircraft and is capable of handling 15 million passengers annually, thereby allowing the airport to handle 35 million passengers a year. Using ADEx 1.50, aeronautical maps and Google Earth (2009) all these changes have been built into the default FSX airport.

Ireland VFR Small Airports part 4 Download

File Description:
Ireland VFR Small Airports Part 4. Three new airports for FSX, consisting of EI50 Limetree, EI55 Eyne and EICN Coonagh. Limetree and Eyne are 70km southwest of EIDW Dublin. Coonagh is 16km East of EINN Shannon. These airports have been built from scratch, are standalone, and designed to sit on the default terrain. The scenery features custom runways and textures together with full custom models and textures based on real photographs. The scenery has been tested and authenticated by real local pilots. More realistic landclass, autogen rivers and roads have been added to the areas around the airports. It also features many HD textures, AI aircraft and road traffic. The scenery uses seperate elements which can be switched on or off according to the users preference and hardware. This scenery is real flying 'by the seat of your pants'. There are no lights, navaids, or ILS and runway markings are eaten by the sheep. Full installation instructions, settings, credits, hints and tips can be found in the README file. Please enjoy and I hope you like the airports as much as I enjoyed making them.

Ireland VFR Small Airports Part 3 Download

File Description:
Ireland VFR Small Airports Part 3. This scenery consists of 1. EIKY Kerry International Airport, 2. EIBN Bantry Airfield, 3. EIBR Birr Airfield, and 4. Clonbullogue Airfield. Kerry is situated in the South West of Ireland and serves as a gateway to the world famous Lakes of Killarney, The Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula. Bantry is ideal for visiting the rugged beauty of West Cork. Clonbullogue is home to the Irish Parachute Club and is situated approximately 30 miles southwest of EIDW Dublin. Birr is almost in the centre of Ireland and is home to a very active group of GA aviators. The scenery has been created almost entirely from real photographs and all objects have been placed accurately using ordinance survey data and satellite imagery. It also includes animated marshallers, aircrew and passengers together with animated animals and vehicles. Appropriate sound effects have been added to each file together with smoke and strobe lighting. Full night lighting is included, with flood and wash lighting of the aprons and carparks. Each airport has been sub-divided into seperate elements, which can be switched on or off according to the users preference and hardware setup. It caters for GA enthuasiasts and for those who prefer to fly the heavies. This scenery has not been designed as a standalone, it calls on many objects from my Ireland VFR Small Airports parts 1 and 2. It has also been designed to complement photographic scenery but will also work with the default terrain and I have inlcuded a set of landclass and photoreal textures. It also includes an extended set of photoscenery treescapes. Full installation instructions, settings, credits and tips can be found in the README file. Please enjoy and I hope you like my airports as much as I enjoyed making them.
