in screenshot #5) before advancing in your training and graduating to actual
CAP search and rescue aircraft. For the payware Carenado Archer II for FSX.

This is a repaint of the Dino Cattaneo's S-3B "Viking". These textures represent a Viking of VS-41, "Shamrocks" that was at NAS North Island. CA. VS-41 was a RAG squadron for S-3s and on September 30, 2006, the squadron was officially disestablished as the Vikings were eliminated from USN inventory. This version has the small subdued Shamrock and MODEX 747. The textures are those of an artist interpretation and resulting rendition. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! This is a repaint of Tim Conrad's excellent Douglas A-1J Skyraider. These textures represent a USAF A-1H, "Bubbles 'n Bust", flown by 602nd SOS at Nahkon Phanom AB, RTAFB between 1968 to 1972 during the Vietnam war. During its 6 years of service at various bases the squadron lost 80 aircraft and at least 38 pilots. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need Tim Conrad's freeware package.

File Description:
This is a repaint of Alphasim's excellent T-6/SNJ. These textures represent a SNJ-5C that was assigned to the Training Squadron at Baron Field, Alabama, The field became know as "Bloody Baron for the large number of training accidents. This squadron was used to train Naval & USMC fledgling pilots in the fine are of carrier aviation and subsequently make their trip out to the ship for qualification. This a sister to the plane that is hanging in the National Museum of Naval Aviation at NASP.
Alphasim did not produce a -5C model so there is no visable hook, There is a modification that can be done to the aircarft.cfg file that will simulate a hook is in place and allow traps.
THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need the ALPHASIM Texan/Harvard FSX or FS9 payware package.
