File Description:
This is a repaint of the Beechcraft D18S originally produced by Milton Shupe and Scott Thomas, adapted for FSX by David Caroll (B18DC05.ZIP). This former RCAF Expeditor Mk.3N (C/N CA83, RCAF S/N 2285) was acquired by the French Air Force in 1959. It is shown here in the markings of GTLA (Groupe de Transport et de Liaison Aerienne) 2/60 during the mid-sixties. Aircraft belonging to this unit were kept in pristine condition, hence the unusual, very glossy, nearly chrome-finished aspect of the natural metal surfaces.

A real airport on the Atlantic Coast in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area with a grass airstrip.
-Features: I added a small Tower with comms, tidied up parking, taxiways, and for the 'difficult-to-taxi' tail-draggers, a circular taxiway to the Primary Runway, 9.
-Three freeware airplanes are included, Aeronca Chief, Boeing Stearman, and Beechcraft D18.
-Two Acceleration Pack aircraft, the P51 Racer #2, and the Grumman Goose are written into the Traffic file, so if you have Acceleration installed, they will also appear at the Aerodrome.

FSX Acceleration version of Erick Cantu's Embraer EMB120 Brasilia. Everything about the FS2004 version is here, but rebuilt in gmax to take advantage of FSX features like dynamic self shadowing, bump maps, specular maps and FSX specific animations. This package comes with 12 high quality textures plus blank templates created by Adriano Martoni. Sounds, panel and FDE has been aliased to the default Beechcraft King Air 350. This release does not come with a VC. Tested in Windows Vista and Windows 7 with DX10 preview enabled. Model created using the gmax source files released by Erick Cantu.

I was flying around the FSX world looking for a real world sloping airstrip just begging to be modeled with a touchdown tire squealing, smoking rubber - that kind of hardened surface sloping runway after I finally figured out how to persuade the FSX SDK to compile one. The Airfield Candidate shall have high density LiDAR elevation and high resolution Orthoimagery data available for public download. I was flying a Beechcraft Baron 58 over Wanaque Reservoir in Northeast NJ of all places when I happened upon a photo scenery runway on a sloping hill top without the usual FSX flattened airport plateau effect and FSX textured runway. FS2004 to FSX Beechcraft King Air Propeller Texture File. For the entire FS2004 King Air collection by Dee Waldron/Henry Tomkiewicz. Now the C90, C90B, C90GTI, F90, A100, and Super 200 for FS2004 have a propeller texture suitable for FSX. Copy and paste this FSX "prop-hs" file into every one of your texture folders, overwriting the FS2004 "prop-hs" files you have now. Now all these magnificent King Airs will look pretty good in FSX. This one prop texture file works on every one of the Waldron/Tomkiewicz King Air models to make these wonderful FS2004 King Airs suitable for use in FSX.
