| IRIS F-16D Viper CFT Israeli Air Force 'SUFA' 107th Squadron Repaint Textures |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This repaint is for the Conformal Fuel Tank (CFT) models of the "IRIS F-16D Viper" and depicts Israeli Air Force F-16I number 803 of the 107th "KNIGHTS OF THE ORANGE TAIL" Squadron based at Hatzerim Airbase. I did my best to "transform" the IRIS F-16D into an F-16I "Sufa" (Storm) by custom painting the decals, canopy rails, "look-alike" sensors on the nose, and repainting the GE engine look like the P&W engines that are on the IAF jets.

| USAF Douglas C-124C 52nd Troop Carrier Squadron |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a repaint of the Douglas C-124C in USAF colors. The freeware Douglas C-124C for FSX by Jens Kristensen (JBK) is needed for this repaint. The Tactical Air Command (TAC) operated C-124s from 1951 to July 1957, when they were taken over by the Military Air Transport Service. TAC used the C-124s for paratroop drops, and formation flying. The C-124s were too large and unwieldy for these type of tasks, however TAC did a neat job of it. They used their experience with the C-124s and put it to good use when they eventually received C-130s. This aircraft, serial 52-983 was from the 52nd Troop Carrier Squadron of the Tactical Air Command. It was used by the USAF until October1971, when it was mothballed at MASDC, or the 'Boneyard', at Davis–Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. Textures are 32bit DDS. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should also work on FSX, and P3Dv1-3.

| Pilatus PC-6C KLU SFIR, Tallil, Iraq, 2004 |
|
File Description:
Pilatus PC-6C H2 Turbo Porter for FSX by Tim Conrad in a Royal Netherlands Air Force livery. The PC-6C Turbo Porter has been an amazing contribution to the STOL aircraft fleet around the world for decades. It's robust airframe and excellent aerodynamics make the plane very popular for para-drops, but also for supply missions in remote area's throughout the globe. Despite it's age the aircraft is still widely in use. This repaint represents a "what-if" RNLAF PC-6C in 336 Sqn colours. 336 Sqn has been a Dutch Antilles based Air Force MARPAT unit operating F-27MPA's. Currently the Sqn operates four C-130's from Eindhoven AB, with a new Sqn logo. This PC-6C is (fictionally and prior to the 336 Sqn re-establishment) operated by 2 ULF(Utility and Liaison Flight), 336 Sqn. The flight is designated to operate anywhere in the world. This livery resembles a unit operating from Tallil AB (Ali Air Base (ORTL), Iraq) under SFIR mandate, and in support of the Dutch battlegroup, Al Muthanna, 2004. The aircraft shares the same registration as my previous livery (PC-6C_KLU.zip), but weathered, tone-down camouflaged and 32 years later. You need the excellent freeware PC-6C H2 Turbo Porter by Tim Conrad in order to use this repaint. Enjoy!

| RAF Dunholme Lodge - Lincolnshire, England **UPDATE** |
|
File Description:
This is an-update to correct the location of the Tower, if you have installed my version uploaded on the 15 or 23 Oct 15
RAF Dunholme Lodge was a Royal Air Force station located between the parishes of Welton and Dunholme in Lincolnshire, England.
The grass airfield was first used by the Royal Air Force during 1941 and 1942 for use by Handley Page Hampden aircraft from nearby RAF Scampton, and was officially opened as a RAF Station in September 1942 as part of RAF Bomber Command with the building of three hard runways.
The main occupier of the station was 44 Squadron, with the Avro Lancaster four-engined heavy bomber, which moved in from RAF Waddington in May 1943 and stayed until it moved to RAF Spilsby in September 1944.
In November 1944 flying operations ceased due the proximity of other stations which did not allow night flying. At the end of the war 120 Lancaster's had been lost on operations from Dunholme Lodge.
From 1948 the site was host to motorcycle and car racing until 1959 when the base was reopened as an active RAF station when it became an active Bloodhound surface-to-air missile station with 141 Squadron. The Squadron in 1964 and the station finally closed in 1964. Source: Wikipedia.

This repaint depicts the restored P-51D-25-NA 44-73343, "Live Bait", which completed a ground-up restoration by Midwest Aero Restorations in 2010. The aircraft spent most of the 1960's as a Reno air racer, with the names "Seattle Miss", "Esther's Mink", "Traveler", and "Miss Salmon River". Following a crash landing at the 1971 races, the aircraft would pass through a few owners until restoration finally began on the aircraft in 2005. The aircraft first flew again in July 2010, and took home the Reserve Grand Champion WWII award at the 2010 EAA Airventure Oshkosh air show. The markings are that of Captain Clayton Kelly Gross, 355th FS, 354th FG, 9th Air Force. Kelly Gross was reunited with this, 'his' airplane, at Oshkosh 2010.

FSX Scenery - Lawton Fort Sill Regional Airport (IATA: LAW[2], ICAO: KLAW, FAA LID: LAW) is a city owned airport two miles south of Lawton, in Comanche County, Oklahoma. It is used for military aviation from nearby Fort Sill and Sheppard Air Force Base and is served by American Eagle. Allegiant Air runs occasional charters to various destinations in the western United States. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011-2015 categorized it as a primary commercial service airport.
