Sutton Bank XSUT version 2 - Home of Yorkshire Gliding Club.Mike Brown contacted me to say that he now uses Prepar3D and my Gliding Club scratch buildings did not show. In 2008 I was using Instant Object Maker to produce these. I have reworked them with Instant Object Studio so that they now appear in Prepar3D Ok. I then decided to replace the original generic hangars with scratch built ones so I am now releasing this as an FSX version 2.

The ARX-6 is a single-place Formula One pylon racing aircraft and is built to the specs of the International Formula 1 Air Racing association. Like all Formula One race planes, it is built around the Continental O-200. This is the same 100hp engine that barely powers a Cessna 150 to 100kts but on the small extremely lightweight and aerodynamic airframes of formula one racers the top aircraft can push 300mph. With very few instruments, and less than average ground handling, Formula One aircraft are very clean "no frills" machines that serve only one purpose - flying low, flying fast, and turning left. This all-new package created specifically for FSX includes 14 different schemes, custom sounds and panel. Aircraft and panel by Jason L. Terry. Sounds by Joseph Thompson. The Fokker S14 Mach-trainer was the first purpose designed and built, side by side seated, jet trainer. First Flight 19 May 1951. Only 20 were built and used by the Royal Netherlands Air Force from 1955 till 1967.The modelling and texturing is brought to the highest detail possible and a new 2D and Virtual Cockpit added. Paintscheme presented here is as the L-2 operated during the early days with the RNLAF. Features annimated landinggear, flightcontrols, lights, canopy and ground services and a fully functional VC.This issue includes the earlier released fix and superseeds FSX_Fokker_S-14_Machtrainer_RNLAF_L-2.zip.By David Wooster and Emile Lancee.

Here's a different sort of glider for you to try out! The NASA M2-F1 was a lightweight, unpowered prototype aircraft, developed to flight test the wingless lifting body concept. The "M" refers to "manned" and "F" refers to "flight". In 1962, NASA Dryden management approved a program to build a lightweight, unpowered lifting body prototype. It featured a plywood shell placed over a tubular steel frame crafted at Dryden. For more background info check Wikipedia!

This airport is a very accurate rendition of EDDF to represent today situation and made only for FSX with two optional files: one file with the Crosswind runway 18/36 operating (18 takeoff only) where all 4 runways will be used simultaneously and one file as the default airport runway operation: The Northwest runway 7L/25R (landing only), ILS frequencies and approaches now corrected to the latest charts and some transitions, assigned parking as per their website with extra parking including gates for the A380, taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts, new north side control tower, the South cargo apron updated, the A380 maintenance apron, extra fuel trucks, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other scenery improvements and objects added, airport views are from the roof of the new North side control tower (when in tower view) please view the readme before installation.
