| Antonov AN225-210 "Colossus" |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
The AN225-210 is the result of a proposed 1 to 2-year projected modernization program which will
convert the current AN225 into a much more useful and capable aircraft than the already infamous
ÐœÑ€Ñ–Ñ (Mriya) . The latter First flew on December 21, 1988, and is currently 33 years old. There have
been a few maintenance periods and 1 major avionics modification, but otherwise is too old for reliable
future use. The 2 year process involves reconstructing the landing gear system to support much more weight. The
new engines are much more powerful, but lighter in weight, and much more fuel efficient. The wings
are replaced with similar wings with more wing-area built of modern light-weight material which gives
her higher lift capacity. The cargo hold area is reinforced for heavier weight limits. The crew areas
(upper deck, fore/aft main wing) are modernized for long duration flight, and two galleys are included.
The fuel tanks (9) now also involve 3 tanks in the upper center portion of the fuselage in order to put
less stress on the wings. The pressure system is modernized to achieve 6,000 feet cabin pressure up to
FL470. The internal and external lighting is fully modernized, the former for a pleasing effect and the
latter for distinct recognition during flight. Overall, the aircraft does not appear different to the
common observer.

| "Janet Airways" Boeing 737-600 BBJ-ER |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
A highly classified small fleet of passenger aircraft known as "Janet" is operated for the United States Air Force to transport military and contractor employees. It mainly serves the Nevada National Security Site (most notably Area 51 (AR51) and Tonopah Test Range (TNX), from their terminal at Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport (KLAS). The planes are also used to fly to/from Air Force Plant 42 (KPMD), Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake (KNID), Hill Air Force Base (KHIF), and Edwards Air Force Base (KEDW). I encourage you to locate, download, and install the AFCAD files or scenery add-ons associated to these airports from any source you desire, but make sure they are designed for FSX. The fleet's "Janet" call sign, from which its de facto name comes, is said to stand for "Just Another Non-Existent Terminal", or more likely "Joint Air Network". Everything is realistic in this model, now, and most simmers know how inaccurate the original FSX 737-800 was. However, this aircraft simulates the accuracy of a 737-600 BBJ-ER, if there ever was one built. I modified everything to fit that aspect, except for the visual model. The engine characteristics are correct as well as all weight/balance and MOI. I even fixed the wheels to be accurate in base, track and pressure size. Everything I've done here is for educational purposes without any expectation of any monetary gain, and offered publicly for free. Read the Readme.txt file for installation and details. All persons involved with this and the original design are credited, unless they are unknown and have offered no credit details. | U.S. Army Bell OH-58 Kiowa - Flat Matte Finish |
|
File Description:
These are 2 flat matte finish repaints of the default Bell 206B JetRanger helicopter included with FSX. No other files are necessary. The liveries are for Bell OH-58 Kiowas - California Army National Guard #0-21868 and U.S. Army 1st Cavalry, 2nd Battalion, 227th Air Regiment #0-16192. Appropriate pilot markings are included with each repaint. The Bell OH-58 Kiowa is basically the civilian Bell 206 series helicopter with longer rotor blades and an upgraded engine (also military avionics). Over 2,200 Kiowas have been delivered to the U.S. Army and have been actively serving in a variety of roles since the Vietnam War. The armed version is known as the AH-58 Kiowa attack helicopter. The Bell OH-58 Kiowa can be found in countries such as Canada, Australia, and Israel (among others), whether exported by Bell or built under contract by Agusta. The flat matte finish gives a more weathered look and is considered more prototypical for military camouflage as it is less reflective. However, some people do not like the look but I offer it as an option. Enjoy!

| Airbus A330-300RR V2.1 |
|
File Description:
**** THIS FILE SUPERCEEDS MY ORIGINAL FILE posky_a330_300_v2_fsx.zip **** v2.1 - REPORTED BUGS HAVE BEEN CORRECTED. Introducing the Project Opensky A330-300 for Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Designed to be a competitor to the Boeing 777-200, Airbus Industries has out done itself creating a beautiful and fuel efficient flying machine capable of delivering passengers in safety and comfort well into the 21st Century and possibly beyond. Included in this package you will find the Airbus House scheme (With and without SATCOM), Air Canada, Cathay Pacific and Scandinavian Airlines (SAS - with SATCOM) liveries. All textures have been modified in DXT-3 format for crisp visuals without comprimising frame rates. Includes the FS-X default Airbus A321 panel (due to no A330 panel available for FS-X to date). This model has no Virtual Coclpit (VC) and is meant to fly using the 2-D panel only! Sounds have been alised to the default A321, however I recommend the excellent Rolls Royce Trent 700 sound package (file name:rrtrent700v3.zip located at AVSIM.com) for this aircraft. This file is for FS-X Only!

| FSX: Enhanced Major Metro Autogen (requires FSX Enhanced Autogen World ) |
|
File Description:
This is the second and final part of our enhanced autogen release. This package repairs and upgrades 48 major city autogen building textures world-wide and RESTORES the light maps Aces missed in which large numbers of buildings (Paris, Berlin, London, etc) have been dark since the release of FSX. It includes North America, South America, Asia, Eurasia, Middle East, Europe, Africa and Australia. You MUST install PART ONE (fsx_enhanced_autogen.zip) before using this package. There are links included with the instructiions of this package to PART 1 should you need them along with instructions for FTX users. The included textures will add all the default missing light maps, blend perfectly with GEX Enhanced USA/Canada and are a great match for our upcoming GEX Europe release. Please note these are only textures for major metro auto-generated buildings and are not the city skyscrapers and landmarks. There is absolutely no performance loss -or- performance gain when using these textures which are ONLY for FSX and can not be used in FS9. Happy Holidays from Team GEX to the entire sim community!
