File Description:
A texture set for Jens B. Kristensen's C-54 of c/n 10397 in Rhodesian Air Services colours registration VP-YTY. The aircraft was delivered to the USAF in 1944 and then operated by several airlines before being purchased by Rhodesian Air Services. After Rhodesian Air Services ceased operations she was leased to Bechanaland National Airlines first as VQ-ZEC and then as A2-ZEC after Botswansa gained independence. Finally she was operated by Air Trans Africa/Affretair on charter flights during the Biafran civil war where she was impounded by the Nigerian Government in 1967 and then crashed on take off in 1969.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Boeing B-52 by Captain Sim. It shows B-52H 61-015 "the Last Laugh" based in Barksdale, LA, which recently visited the Avalon Airshow in Victoria, Australia, piloted by Captain McCracken. The aircraft was built in 1961, when the father of her present pilot wasn't even born. The aircraft has currently 19.000 flying hours behind her and has dropped bombs in anger, during the wars with Iraq and supporting coalition forces during the war on terror. She is expected to fly on for a few more decades.
Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit supplied by Capatain Sim.

FSX Scenery - Inuvik (Mike Zubko) Airport (IATA: YEV, ICAO: CYEV) is located 6.5 nautical miles (12.0 km; 7.5 mi) east of Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada. The airport is classified as an airport of entry by Nav Canada and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). CBSA officers at this airport can handle general aviation aircraft only, with no more than 15 passengers. Inuvik has scheduled jet airline service provided by Canadian North and First Air. This float D18S is a former RCAF Expeditor Mk.3NMT (CT-128), now operated by Kenora Air Service Ltd. (Ontario), which offers a fishing from waters bordering Woodland Caribou Provincial Park in Ontario and Atikaki Wilderness Park in Manitoba.This is a FSX adaptation of the wonderful FS9 D18S Float cargo plane by Milton Shupe with two optional VC panels (VFR and IFR), more or less authentic to those of former RCAF Twin Beeches, being used now as float planes.
