SIDSTAR Procedure File for KATL Download

File Description:
PMDG SIDSTARS Cycle 1113-1201 (15DEC11-09FEB12) based on FAA National Data from National Flight Data Center, issued every 56d (Two Navigraph Cycles). These procedures include the following enhancements: All procedures are included as-published by the FAA and they are expanded to replace ATC-vectors with realistic route segments for use in a non-ATC environment (ie not using VATSIM or other service). All STARs include routing from the arrival to the final approach fix of the approach and all SIDs are expanded to include routing from the runway to the departure gate. RNP approaches that have arc-segments are accurately modelled. Procedure turns are included for all approaches where published. At Atlanta in particular, the unpublished departures alluded to in the ATL5 SID (EAONE EATWO etc) are included for use with turboprop aircraft (the jets use the RNAV departures), and the non-RNAV STARs provide route segments to the arrival approaches with realistic constraints for turboprops. The SIDSTAR text file includes a detailed header listing all procedures and notes to help get the best use of the procedures. For the interested, I included an example of how to create an arc where the radius and arc center are unknown based on using a geographical tool such as COMPSYS (available free from the FAA). For PMDG 737NG/737NGX/747-400/747-400X/MD-11FS9/MD-11FSX/BAeJS41

Sky Airline Airbus A319 (CC-AFY) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Sky Airline is an airline based at Comodoro Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport in Santiago, Chile. It is the second largest airline in the country behind rival LAN Airlines. It has international routes to Peru, Argentina, Bolivia and Brazil. It operates under a semi-low cost model, although its service is superior compared to other European or US low cost carriers. It also operates charter flights in Chile and South America. Source Wiki. Flightplans may be available on AVSIM/Flightsim.com.

This works for both FS9 and FSX. Tested in FSX. FS9 models used. For FSX users make sure you have UNCHECKED "Aircraft casts shadows on the ground" under the Aircraft - Exterior Settings in FSX to make any FS9-based model visible during the day! Texture quality; FSX Native: DDS DXT5 with alpha. FS9 Native: BMP DXT3 with alpha. FSX Light Fix included in the DDS night texture. Custom Light Map. Custom Shadows, Highs, Weathering as usual...

Included repaint is for the following model; DJC_A319 from DJC. By renaming the texture files to "EvolveAI_A319_CFM_T & EvolveAI_A319_CFM_L" it will also work for EvAI's model. This is a non-reflective model. Model is available on AVSIM and FlightSim.com or on the author/developers site. You need the basekit for this to work!! Do make sure you copy the texture folder(s) in the respective folder.

Category: Flight Simulator X - Panels
F-111A Download

File Description:
The purpose of this up date is because of the restore issue at the AVSIM lib. Secondly, this version V1.01 includes a bug fix for the compass gauge and the logic of the sonic sound. This panel has been designed according to the F-111 Aardvark Pilot's Flight Operating Instructions document published by the USAF. The design goal was to develop a panel and gauges as close as possible to the original aircraft. It was not possible to program all the functionsand sub-panels, because of the complexity of the system and because of limitations in FSX. The panel is a 2D panel. The panel has been developed from scratch as well as all the gauges. All gauges are programmed in XML with the ACE tool from the MS SDK SP2 package. The aircraft model, development by Mike Stone, has been used as the model for this panel. The model is part of the package. Other models may by used as well. However, the Light section and Flaps section in the aircraft.cfg may be modified accordingly in order to meet the requirements of this panel. There is an SP1 and SP2 Version. There are no tooltips in the SP1 Version. For installation and functional instructions, please read the PDF-Document F-111A-Panel-Documentation" which is included in the ZIP-File.

Mesolonghi Airport - Rio-Antirio Bridge - Greece ** UPDATED VERSION ** Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
These are actually two sceneries offered in one pack. I started building the small airport of Mesolonghi in Western Greece. When nearing completion, I thought that FS was really missing the big suspension Bridge that connects mainland Greece with Peloponese that was finished in 2004, being the biggest in the world of the fully suspended type. The bridge project turned out bigger than the airport as I ended up doing the typical, Greek-style double ended ferries that served the straights for decades before the bridge and still offer a cheaper and, to some, more relaxing alternative.

Mesolonghi airport is situated 5 kilometers east of the historic city of Mesolonghi and is close to the technical school of fisheries. There is no ICAO code (ZZZZ) so I had to give it the fictional LGME in the sim. A purely day field, it houses the local Aeroclub and ultralight school. due to its small size and hospitable atmoshpere, it is a popular GA pilots destination, receiving also often international arrivals. The runway is asphalt and 800m (2635') in length. No PAPI or VASI are provided. There is no tower service and unicom frequency of 119.7MHz is used by the traffic. Closest controlled airport is Araxos (LGRX), a civil and military field, quite common in Greece, 12.5 nautical miles S-SE. The nearby city of Mesolonghi is famous for its heroic resistance and fall in 1826 during the Greek war of indepence. It is also famous for its fishery production, due to the natural lagoon, formed by the shallow waters.

Features of the Mesolonghi airport scenery include:
- Photoreal area with seasonal variations and watermask.
- Custom hangars and containerised buidings.
- AI default trike performing TnGs (in P3D it will work only if you copy over the FSX trike).
- The technical shool of fisheries on the north side.
- Customized shorelines, to fit with ORBX Global Vector.
- Optional shoreline fix for default scenery.

The Rio-Antirio bridge is located 14.5 nautical miles to the east of the airport. It connects the towns of Rio on the south side and Antirio on the north side. More data on the bridge can be found on Wikipedia.

Features of the Rio-Antirio bridge scenery include:
- Custom bridge model, bump mapped textures with hard platform surface and vehicle traffic.
- Night lighting textures and custom roadlights.
- Photoreal scenery for north and south shores, including hand placed autogen and night textures.
- Custom castle models on north and south sides, with bump mapped textures and night lighting.
- Custom model of the toll post on the north side.
- Custom AI ferry boats with constant shuttle service between Rio and Antirion piers.
- Customized shorelines, to fit with ORBX Global Vector.
- Optional shoreline fix for default scenery.
- Optional HDR optimized photoreal textures.

Delta Airlines A330-302 (242 Tonne) N828NW Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
BlackBox Simulations [BBS] Airbus Xtreme Series A330 V0.802 or above is required for this repaint. FSX/P3D ONLY. Airbus announced Delta Airlines as the launch customer of the increased weight, 242 tonne, A330-300 for more route options as well as added passenger comfort. The new A330ceo is also the base of the A330neo but with the standard wings and an upgraded General Electric GE CF6-80E1 engine option. Delta is the first of 12 customers to fly this increased range A330. The plane can fly up to 6,100nm and has 2% less fuel consumption. This repaint is part of FlightsimFX's HIGH DETAIL SERIES (HDS) which is essentially a study level repaint of select few liveries. Enjoy more than 250 layers of custom texture additions/changes to the stock paintkit supplied! BlackBox simulations has contributed to our community with the release of their advanced Airbus Aircraft series. As good as the gauges and cockpit is, it is lacking greatly in the texture department. I have taken initiative to fix their plastic looking, overall sub par, textures with my newer ones. There is a lot of work that will still be added but as of now, I believe this is a stable amount of fixes to the BBS A330 Texture sets. I have also included my "Optional BBS Common Texture Changes" folder if you are interested in the other work to make the BBS a bit more realistic. Stay tuned for more enhancements.

MRLB - Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport / Liberia, Guanacaste, Costa Rica Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
MRLB - Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport / Liberia, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. This airport update was made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor) and made for FSX as a replacement for the stock (default) airport. I found that most stock airports in FSX lack a decent amount of character and realism and I've tried to fix that a little bit. The stock airport file for the Liberia airport was sub par to say the least. There were absolutely no parking spots for commercial aircraft and no terminal buildings.

I've done major reworking to this airport and added the brand new terminal, which opened several months ago, I hope you enjoy. Below is a list of changes/additions. All these enhancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects. I've used satellite images, terminal photos and maps throughout the whole process so building locations are as accurate as possible. Happy landings in Costa Rica!

Features:
*Greatly expanded parking apron
*Old terminal building added with GA parking area
*Brand new terminal building added with its 4 jetways and 3 additional ramp parking spots
*Parking lots with static vehicles
*Small current construction area
*Road that connects the airport to the main highway w/ static vehicles
*Hilton Garden Inn hotel south of runway 25
*Static vehicles and GA aircraft on the ramp
*Fire station
*Birds in the vicinity of the airport

Gauges Recovery 1.2 for FSX Download

File Description:
New ! Since version 1.2 Gauges Recovery also fix the problem of compatibility from FS9 add-ons which display all gray and without texture !!! DESCRIPTION: For years I worked on Flight Simulator I realized that many people have problems with showing the gauges panel (black screen) or special effects such as afterburner, smoke or line of condensation occurring after uninstalling an add-on or accidentally deleted files of the simulator. In your Flight Simulator X there is a folder named 'Gauges' it contains files 'gauges' representative board instrumentation for each add-on, such as the autopilot, the horizon indicator etc, if you delete one of these files, your panel will not display the gauge that it was programmed. It is the same for the folder 'Effects' that contains all the special effects in FSX, it sometimes happens that some files in these folders disappear leaving your simulator in a situation where you no longer see your instrument panel (black screens) and afetburner invisible. Under these conditions, you reinstall FSX and lose a lot of time (and patience). So I created Gauges Recovery, a small free utility that will restore all your gauges and effects of origin in less than 10 seconds. With Gauges Recovery, you're sure to get the display of all gauges and effects. This program does restore the original files from Microsoft FSX FSX SP1, FSX SP2 and not the files from other publishers, no changes will be made to these files. Some people see the gauges all black (black screens), unless FSX is installed correctly. The solution to this problem is to install the files MSVCP70.DLL and msvcr70.dll in your 'system32', Gauges Recovery does this automatically for you. Do not look if Gauges Recovery is installed because there is no installation, the program only updates files in FSX and nothing else.

FedEx McDonnell Douglas MD-11F (N604FE) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The Boeing MD-11F aircraft, N604FE, named "Hollis" is based out of Memphis, TN and can fly both Domestic and International Routes. The MD-11F (53 built) are the Freight transport aircraft version and were the second variant on offer at launch in 1986, and was the last and longest (1988-2000) manufactured version. 22 MD-11F's were delivered between 1991 and 2001 to FedEx. According to Flight Aware, she flies mainly domestic routes daily. The aircraft is almost identical to the DC-10F, although BOEING modernized their model with a longer fuselage and more powerful engines, giving her a longer range and higher service ceiling. Most flights are at full payload, and those disclude the center long-range fuel tanks, and involve flights ranging between 2,000 and 4,500 nm. I've been dealing with several versions of this aircraft for many years, actually since the first offered on CompuServe for FS98 in the '90s, and through time have found many aerodynamic details that were required in order to make her fly realistically. The Internet slowly added the details I needed, and then came the testing. Needless to say, I've flown many versions, including this one, for way too many hours, and added and corrected things along the way. This version is the best I've ever done, and I've worked on her for about a year before this upload. Everything is aerodynamically correct, and the engines (and their placement) are beyond anything ever presented by anyone with anything like this previously. I even fixed the gear to be 100% authentic in placement and use. I tried to fix the lights, but the textures are from FS2004, so I did the best I could. I chose this aircraft because it is actually in service today, and because the painter did a great job in making her look authentic. She now flies in FSX just as she does in reality, but you are better advised to study this on your own, rather than take my word. Aircraft ratings by manufacturers are based on simple standards, and very conservative. FSX is a virtual “WIND TUNNEL” when realistic aerodynamics are employed, so we can see what aircraft are capable of if we do it all right. Sorry to say, no one ever builds a free aircraft for upload with the correct engine/aerodynamics employed. In fact, I don't think anyone, other than myself, has ever put that much effort into it. So, keep this in mind. What you have now is real. It is Free. Now learn from it. READ THE MD11Readme.txt document before any operation after unzipping this. Tri-Engine Sound by B.G. Hany; Textures by Bradley McCoy; Panel by Marco Spada; Real World Engine/Aerodynamics by Douglas E. Trapp, [email protected], June 2018.
