| Newton Airport (3N5), NJ v1.0.1 |
|
File Description:
Located 03 miles S of Newton, New Jersey on 90 acres of land, Newton Airport is a public airstrip. No services are offered for transient aircraft. Trees are summertime ONLY.
Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview, the author has not been there in person.
This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New York 005. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

| B-52J |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Since it became operational in 1955, the B-52 has been the main long-range heavy bomber of the U.S. Air Force. It first flew on Apr. 15, 1952. Nearly 750 B-52s were built when production ended in Oct. 1963. This "J" model is the future re-engined "h" model 60-0042 of the 917th Wing AFRC based at Barksdale AFB (KBAD). She flies higher, further, and faster than any previous version. The aircraft can cruise at 380 KIAS at 500 ft agl over about 5,000 nm which makes her capable of reaching targets within enemy airspace anywhere on the globe without being detected by radar until it's too late. Her normal high altitude cruise speed has been increased to Mach .88 above FL550E over 9,000 nm without refueling, and her service ceiling has increased to FL570E. The 50,000 lb payload is still nominal, but due to the lighter engines she now has more accomidations for the crew, and does not require refueling very often. She can range much further with less speed (i.e., Mach .85), but there is normally no need for that. This aircraft is designed to fly like the real thing. It is likely one of the best B-52 models available at this time. I have test-flown this aircraft around the globe several times to reassure myself that all is well. You will not have a bouncing effect occur when cruising with 16x speed acceleration and autopilot engaged because all aerodynamics and balance are perfected to a very low margin of error, or no error margin at all. Please be sure to read the INSTRUCT.TXT file for extended details. Original aircraft designer: Mike Stone; Textures by Bill Baldwin; Panel and gauges by Philippe Wallaert; Auto Smoke Effects by Richard Wisman; BR-725 Sound by Ronald Buffalo; Real World aero/engine dynamics, data, lights and effects by: Douglas E. Trapp, FS Flight Dynamics Engineer, Irving, Texas, [email protected], October 2018. | P-51D Mustang "44-73420" N7722C |
|
File Description:
This is a repaint only for the WWII Fighters P-51D. This aircraft, 44-73420, entered the USAAF in 1945 and served with the 190th FS, Boise, Idaho, and with several ANG units. In 1958 it was sold surplus and was registered N7722C. After passing through several owners the aircraft was painted as "Miss Torque" in 1984 and was eventually shipped to New Zealand in 1993 where it operated as ZK-PLI until 2005 when it was sold back to the US. The new owner, Jack Croul, had the aircraft fully restored and in the summer of 2006 it was flying again. The aircraft is now finished in a "polished with no paint" scheme, matching the way the aircraft looked when it originally rolled out of the factory. This repaint is full of details and includes nearly all factory stencils and the "filled, sanded, and painted wing."

| Lockhart River Air Crash Simulation V2 with Standard and Enhanced Realism modes |
|
File Description:
This mission accurately simulates the flight details, weather conditions and radio traffic of the Lockhart River Air Disaster that occured in Queensland, Australia on the 7th of May 2005. This mission can now be played in two ways.
In the standard mode (the default) there are guidance gates, relaxed flight profiles and no phase timers to beat.
When you complete the mission you will have a very good idea on how the incicent happened and you will be rewarded with the standard medal.
The enhanced realsim mode is tough and challenging. To succeed you have to fly each phase of the mission to a tight timeframe and flight profile, overfly the crash site and safely land at Lockhart River, all in IFR conditions with no autopilot. If you succeed and complete the mission you are rewarded with the enhanced medal. Are you good enough?

| Cessna 525 CitationJet |
|
File Description:
FSX Aircraft-The Cessna 525 CitationJet. Cessna developed the model 525 CitationJet with the aim of expanding it's market share for business aircraft in the jet-powered sector. The CitationJet design was new even though there were some similarities in construction of the nose cone, cockpit and fuselage diameter with the Citation II and IV. The CitationJet made it's maiden flight on April 29, 1991. The FAA certified the aircraft for single pilot operation in October 1992 and the first delivery was effected on March 30, 1993. Created with FSDS2.10 and updated for FSX by John B. Loney, Jr.

This packets includes a repaint of the Royal Netherlands Airforce
Historical flight (Stichting Koninklijke Luchtmacht Historische Vlucht, SKHV)
based at Gilze Rijen AB in the Netherlands.
To be used with the freeware T-6G Texan by Warwick Carter (Wozza), available
HERE
Yes, I know the T-6G Texan is different from the AT-6 Harvard IIB flown by the
SKHV yet think the model comes close enough.
Besides the outside, the inside of the aircraft is repainted as-well, including the pilot and some instruments.
