File Description:
RAF Saltby (ICAO X3SY)was a World War II airfield in Leicestershire, England. The airfield is located approximately 8 miles (13 km) northeast of Melton Mowbray; about 90 miles (140 km) north-northwestof London.
It was opened in 1942, and was used by both the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces. During the war it was used primarily as a transport airfield. Like many airfields of the time it closed after the war in 1945 but kept in reserve until 1955.
Today the remains of the airfield are located on private property and, now known as Saltby Airfield, is used primarily for gliding.

Abel Janszoon Tasman (1603 – 10 October 1659) was a Dutch seafarer, explorer, and merchant, best known for his voyages of 1642 and 1644 in the service of the Dutch East India Company (VOC). He was the first known European explorer to reach the islands of Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania) and New Zealand, and to sight the Fiji islands. For a while now, the Royal Netherlands Air Force is looking for a Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) UAV, to fill the ISR-gap between tactical requirement and avaliable manned recce assets. One of the candidates is the General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper (or Predator-B as it was formerly known). This repaint on the magnificent model by FFS gives you an impression what a Dutch Reaper can look like.The squadron logo is of the disbanded 306 Sqn, a unit with a long aerial reconnaissance history.
You need a legal, payware copy of the FFS General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper for FSX in order to use this repaint.

File Description:
This flight from Kelowna is a part of a fifteen mission commercial venture. It is here in two versions: flying the 208B and the DC-3. It adds much more detail to CYLW as well as new scenery for Salmon Arm. There is a high degree of randomness, including the possibility of diversions and failures. The mission will have two legs, and this version is complete only for the first leg.
Be sure to go to your SETTINGS and SCENERY setup and select the new scenery for Kelowna and Salmon Arm. The mission package, Northern Adventures, in German and English, will be available from X1 Software very soon.
