FSX and FS2004 Boeing 247. The Boeing 247 was a trend setter in the early 1930’s. It was the first airliner to have an all-metal, stressed-skin, low-drag airframe and a retractable landing gear. Even when the bigger and better DC-2 and DC-3 arrived, the 247’s continued to give excellent service over the next 20 years. Flight dynamics by FSAviator. New update of flight dynamics settings. Corrected the indicated speed error (KIAS) vs the true speed (KTAS) according to the data suggested in the pilot's operating manual (POH). In some cases the position of the center of gravity unladen weight is corrected for a better weight and balance of the airplane. Actual direct references from Pilot Operations Manual (POH) for specific details, Power, Nose or pitch position and weight and balance settings, airplane geometry, piston or turbine engine data, propeller and everything that refers to references, also the real references of the manufacturers of sea engines whatever the specific case.

Joshua Buckhorn is getting ready for his trip into the Canadian Wester Fur Route. As a trader of furs and FBO owner things up here in North Washington
are hard in this year of 1949. Just 5 years ago he was flying a huge B-17 over Germany. Now a new life has brought him into the dangers on Bush Flying.
As always before these flights, new oil and spark plugs must be placed in the plane, tyres must be just right and the fuel tanks got to be full to the top.
It is 5:45 AM and a big breakfast is a must before the flight, eggs, grits, potatoes, ham, bacon and NO beans since the gas they produce will disrupt the fligh. And don´t forget the "P" Bottle.----I hope you know how to balance a plane with all those furs and hides you will acquire in this trip full of danger in approaches and take offs from, indeed, very dangerous fields. ( Bonus you get 4 new airports for future flights if the business pays off)..:)

Okada Air Dornier Do-228-200 for retro AI traffic, utlizing the FMAI Do-228-200 model set. No photos exist of this aircraft, but Okada Air operated it as original owner from 1983-1992 when it was written off after a hard landing. This is a speculative repaint only, if anybody has a picture of the real aircraft I will happily update this package in the future, but for now it fits in nicely wih the rest of the fleet. This package contains FSX/P3D 32-bit textures and custom lightmap. Aircraft model and master paint kit by Fernando Martinez, repaints by Michael Pearson.
