File Description:
The PA-31 Navajo is a family of cabin-class, twin-engine aircraft designed and built by Piper Aircraft using Lycoming engines for the general aviation market. In the mid-1960s, an aircraft of this size was sorely needed and founder William T. Piper requested the type be developed. Targeted at small-scale cargo and feeder liner operations and the corporate market, the aircraft was a success. It continues to prove a popular choice, but due to greatly decreased demand across the general aviation sector in the 1980s, production of the PA-31 ceased. Created with FSDSv2.10 by John B. Re-upload. This is a set of VMFA-533 "Hawks" textures for the Captain Sim F/A-18D Hornet. The original payware F/A-18 from Captain Sim is needed.
Based at MCAS Beaufort, SC the Hawks faull under the command of MAG-31 and the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. They have been flying the F/A-18D since Septmeber 1992. They have since been deployed in Operation Allied Force (1999), Operation Southern Watch and Operation Iraqi Freedom. This repaint shows the "01" jet in its Operation Iraqi freedom scheme.
Dedicated to Fox-3 and the rest of the Hawks!!

Pearson Field, Vancouver Washington. This airport was originally created to accompany a large photo-scenery, which is the reason there are so many buildings that are placed accurately, but outside the area of the included photo ground. All of the buildings are straight renders from Google Earth or the Trimble Warehouse and Fort Vancouver, the Army Air Museum, the nearby mall with Fred Meyer and several other landmarks are included. The photo ground has 4 seasons and night and if the ground is a little gray, apologies, I kind of overdid it for hard winter. You can just change seasons for greener pastures.

This folder contains a repaint for the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX by Real Air. It shows Spitfire XVIc TB991, which was a Spitfire flying with RAF 349 (Belgian) squadron at the end of the war. After the war, the aircraft was one of 27 Spitfires that were loaned by the Belgian government from the RAF, until MK XIV's could be delivered. Most of these loaned Spitfires were returned to the RAF, but TB991 was damaged in an accident at Beauvechain in 1947, and deemed too far gone to be returned. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by RealAir.

| Douglas C-47 (A65-78) RAAF ARDU |

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of A65-78 of the RAAF. Built as C-47B-25-DK 44-76345, it went to the RAAF in 1945, and was the first allied aircraft to fly into Hiroshima after the atomic bombing. It went to the ARDU in 1956 and was withdrwan from operational use in 1999. It is currently in the RAAF Museum in Point Cook. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

| YRDY Reedy's Gold Mine, Western Australia |

File Description:
YRDY Reedy's Mine open cut was closed in 1997 but further exploration drilling is under way. Reedy is an abandoned town in the Murchison region of Western Australia. The town is located between Cue and Meekatharra in the Mid West region of Western Australia. Gold was discovered in the area by H Reed in 1899-1900 and a nearby well, Reedy's Well, was named after him. The well appeared on maps of the area in 1908 as a known water source. Further gold discoveries were made in the 1930s and sveral mines were developed. By 1933 the Cue-Day Dawn road board petitioned for a townsite to be surveyed and declared. Suggestions for the name of the town included Triton, Mathers and Reedy. The town was gazetted in 1934. If you fly over, you will note that the airstrip runs down the main streets of the old town. This is a repaint of the 727-247 in Western Airlines 727-247 colors with the iconic 'Indian' motif. The freeware 727-200 by Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) is needed for this repaint. Until its acquisition by Delta Air Lines in 1986, Western Airlines was for many years the only survivor of a handful of airlines that pioneered commercial air transportation in the U.S. in the mid-1920s. It was then Known as Western Air Express, it was renamed Western Airlines in April 1954. It was the oldest continuously operating airline in the United States until the amalgamation with Delta in 1987. Its first jet aircraft arrived in 1960 in the form of two Boeing 707-100s. The 707-300s, 727-200s and 737-200s joined the team later in the 1960s. This repaint is of a Western 727-247, circa 1970. Western operated the 727-200 from 1969-1987. Textures are 32bit bmp. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.
