| USAAF B-24D "Kate Smith" 98th Bomb Group, 9th AAF |

File Description:
"Kate Smith" 42-40991 was a B-24D-120-CO which came off the production lines of Consolidated, San Diego. The art work depicts American Singer Kate Smith's theme song, "When the Moon Comes Over the Mountain". This ship was flown by the 1Lt James A Deeds to Ploesti on August 1, 1943. While taking part in the disasterous 98th BG attack on the Astra Romana-Phoenix Orion refinery complex, it took a direct hit in the cockpit area over the target at an estimated 250 ft of altitude. The aircraft caught fire in the bomb bay area and exploded mid-air. Miraculously, the copilot, 2Lt Clifton Foster was blown clear of the disintergrating aircraft and was able to open his parachute. Taken prisoner, he was the only survivor of the ten man crew.

File Description:
This is the standard FSX Cessna 172 with a custom panel to enhance learning the principles of Flight and Navigation. Large gauges are on the panel plus digital readouts for most of the gauges so that there will be no guessing of the readings. The view over the panel is 50% larger than the default Cessna 172. Not on the panel are most of the non-flying gauges such as fuel gauges, engine instruments, engine controls, etc. The intent was to keep the panel uncluttered. Thanks to Norman Hancock and Dave Bitzer for the non-standard gauge designs, and to Tom Goodrick for the great auto-start/auto-stop flight timer and to Kyle Copeland for the fine panel Bitmap. Corning-Painted Post Airport (FAA LID: 7N1) is a public use airport in Steuben County, New York, United States.[1] It is located two nautical miles (4 km) northwest of the central business district of Corning.[1] The airport is owned by the Town of Erwin[1] and located near Painted Post, New York. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011-2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility. The stock FSX airport was a generic type. I updated most everything to 2014 Google Earth standards. I use generic buildings and resize reshape to suit. All objects are stock.I put in most of the parking spaces, gas trigger, the neighborhood houses and some trees to round it out. Hope you enjoy.

| FSX/P3D Aloha Airlines Vickers Viscount 700D circa 1963 |

This is a repaint of Aloha Airlines Vickers Viscount 700D. The freeware Viscount by Jens B. Kristensen is needed for this repaint. Four years after Aloha introduced their first turboprop, the F-27, they added their second type of 'jet-prop' to their fleet; the Vickers Viscount 745D, of which a total of 4 were put in service. However, the hot and humid tropical climate of the Pacific was not an easy arena to operate in for the Viscounts. Even so, they were operated by Aloha from 1963 to their withdrawal in 1971. This Viscount, N7414, was used by the airline from 1963 to 1971. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX. Textures are DDS DXT5. It was not tested on P3D, but it should work on P3D v1-3.

| Douglas C-47 (VH-BAA) Brain & Brown |

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47A VH- BAA of Brain & Brown. C-47-20-DK c/n 13084 42-93199 flew with the RAAF as A65-49 VH-CIE before joining Qantas in 1946 as VH-EAL, EBH and EBW. It went to Brain & Brown in 1960 and flew with them until 1979. It was then taken to the Warbirds Aviation Museum in Mildura, but was moved to Alice Springs in 1995 to join the Cenbtral Australian Aviation Museum, where it is now painted in the colors of VH-EWE of Connair. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

This is an improvement of what came with the default scenery in FSX for KERI. I have added all the hangars including the new one on the east end of the airport. Replaced the default terminal with new buildings and added the three moving jetways that work well with AI traffic. Replaced the default boundary and roads in the area surrounding the airport.
