Lansdowne Monument

File Description:
To the south-east of the White Horse, on top of Cherhill Down is the Lansdowne Monument. Erected in 1845 by the 3rd Marquis of Lansdowne to commemorate his ancestor Sir William Petty. It towers 125 feet (38 metres) above the hill and can also be seen 30 miles (48 Km) away. The hill now belongs to the National Trust. It is said that this is the highest point between London and Bristol. Lat 51 26' Lon 1 54'.

File Description: This FSX repaint represents an updated version of the latest Virgin Atlantic scheme for G-VROC featuring updated Virgin titles on the underside of the fuselage, additional wing registration and custom cockpit manuals. The aircraft was hand painted using the PMDG paintkit and features DDS DXT5 textures and updated night textures which increase the illumination of the fuselage and tail at night. PMDG 747-400 for FSX required. See readme for important installation instructions and enjoy the repaint.

This is FSX scenery of Croydon Airport in London, England. This was London's main airport during the 1920s-1930s and was officially closed in 1952. Until the late 1930s it was the primary departure point for Imperial Airways flights to the distant, exotic cities of the vast British empire. This scenery is a reasonably accurate rendition of the airport as it was in the 1930s. Please refer to the Readme file for more details and installation instructions.

The scenery covers the area of Cosenza and Sila (Calabria, South Italy). The Photo Real Scenery is wide for around 3500 squared Kms. The airport of Lamezia Terme (ICAO code LICA) are found near to the scenery (see map). Otherwise the airport of Crotone (ICAO code LIBC) can be used. Note for FS2004 user: This scenery is compatible to 100% with the FS2004 but for the best results, use it in association with Pietro Mauri Italymesh2004.
