The Most Dangerous Airports: Gibraltar

File Description:
I have created the next in The Most Dangerous Airports Mission Series, namely Gibraltar. Gibratlar is situated on a Peninsalu on the south east coast of Spain and has several daily flights, it also serves as a air force base. The two interesting features about this airport is the intimidating peer into the sea on the west coast and the main road crossing the runway with a set of traffic light to stop traffic during take-offs and landing.

Supermarine Spitfire R7143

File Description: Repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III Spitfire by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney: Supermarine Spitfire R7143 was built as a Mk.1 in 1941 as presentation aircraft 'Wallsall I', and was converted to a MK.PR IV, and flew with 140 squadron. She was involved in a landing accident in early 1942, but was repaired and shipped to Canada in january 1943. Here she served with 13 squadron in Rockcliffe, Ontario, before being damaged again in a landing accident in september 1944. Repairs kept her on the ground until june 1945. She was displayed in a silver scheme after the war during the Air Show in Toronto, 1946, and later flew Air Search Rescue missions. Her last flight was in october 1947, after which she became an instuctional airframe at the RCN air electrical school. She was scrapped here in 1950.

Lukla? No!!!! .............its Ku-Kle!!!!!!

File Description:
This is a fictional scenery of an airport in Nepal, KU-KLE (VNZ5). This field makes --Lukla-- seem like "baby food" and is part of a comming Adventure Flight. Warning no.1= Do not try to take off and land here without a very good insurance package. Warning No.2= You better be a very good STOL pilot. Most pilots trying a landing here in the evening usually receive the R.I.P. Certificate Free.

B-24J USAAF 380th BG/528th BS "Carrot Top"

File Description:
This file contains a repaint for the payware Alphasim B-24 Liberator. "Carrot Top" was a B-24J assigned to the 528th BS/380th BG between december '43 and march'45, flying 77 missions from Australia. When the squadron transferred to the Philippines, she ran out of fuel and was destroyed in the emergency landing. The crew survived. Carrot Top was named after the wife of the pilot, who apparently had striking red hair. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom
