ARX-5X Coyote, Version 2.1 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The ARX-5X (Concept 5) is a single-seat unlimited category aerobatic aircraft built around the 495c.i. 600hp Trace-Orenda OE600 V-8 aircraft engine and designed specifically for freestyle airshow type aerobatics.

Version 2 has a totally new airfile and flight dynamics - the plane can easily handle compulsory competition maneuvers as well as more advanced gyroscopic maneuvers such as lomcovaks and tumbles.
The ARX-5X cruises around 200kts, with a never-exceed speed of 240kts. This FSX native model contains animations, reflections, environment mapping, spec mapping and a full dynamic virutal cockpit. Although it is not a real aircraft it does have several real-world components such as the Chelton Fligh Systems EAU (engine airdata unit) display, and a Hartzell "scimitar" swept blade propeller.

This release is not a quick & dirty update simply "ported" into FSX, it is a full FSX rebuild by the original authors, compiled with XtoMDL and conforming the FSX SDK using dds textures and new modeling techniques for the best overall end-user performance. Includes 2 configs, 7 models, and 20 schemes with a custom smoke system and night time pyrotechnic effects. Aircraft, effects, and panel by Jason L. Terry and Mike VIvaldi. Aditional Skins by Brady Duros and Joshua B. Nyhus.

This airport has been around for many years and has had everything from the Air Force One to the 787 Dreamliner land here! The airport is located between downtown Los Angeles and Orange County and offers a great landing for tourists that do not want to land in the fifth busiest airport in the world, Los Angeles International. The reason why I decided to create this airport was because it is my home airport and I am located only about five miles from it. Also, there is no good freeware FSX scenery for this airport. Features included!: - Modern Terminal with correct gate placements - changed and edited roads and other buildings around airport - added the jetBlue offices on the airport - Cars added (all over the place!!!) - trees added near drop off (California Palm trees)! - baggage cars and other airport cars added. - buses and car parking lots added - "spring street" flight schools and private terminal added. - Vehicles, AI aircraft, grave yard aircraft, and many other static joys throughout the airport! - "Runup" aircraft near runway 34R. - Boeing C-17 facility (no aircraft C17 there) - updated taxi ways and heliports - Airport Service vehicle roads updates and made with help from Google Earth. - Accurate fence, jetblast fence, and boarders of airport. - Cargo terminals added for ups and dhl - Private (gulfstream and other private) jet spots added. - Flight Schools such as Long Beach Flight Academy (one I go to!!!) accurately made. - New taxi ways and terrain - Aflite fuel truck spaces added - Correct runway lengths of 25L - More items you just need to see to believe!!! Boeing B-17G 91st BG (LL-E) "Shoo shoo shoo baby" Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors B-17G-35-BO 42-32076, which rolled off Boeing's production line in Seattle in march 1944. This was around the transition from camouflaged to bare metal aircraft, which led to the odd situation that the datablock was stencilled onto a OD panel, while the rest of the aircraft was left bare metal. This was because the datablock was sprayed on right at the beginning of production. The aircraft was assigned to the 401st BS of the 91st BG, and was collected at the depot in Burtonwood by Paul McDuffee, who was so impressed with its smooth handling that he asked to be assigned to it. The aircraft was named by its crew chief, Hank Cordes, and was named after a popular song by the Andrews Sisters. Originally, the name was 'Shoo shoo baby', applied in gothic letters, which was later replaced by a Vargas girl and an additional 'shoo', painted by Cpl. Tony Starcer. McDuffee flew 13 missions with 076, before completing his tour of duty. On completion of his last flight, he buzzed the airfield and flew so low that fencing wire became entangled in the tail wheel. On the plane's 23rd mission, on 29 may 1944, Lt. Robert Guenther was flying 076 on a raid to Poznan when he suffered engine failure on one engine, and a while later, flak knocked out a second engine. 'Shoo shoo shoo baby' started to fall behind, and when a third engine started to falter, Lt Guenther decided to turn to neutral Sweden, with the crew jettisoning all loose equipment. A group of FW190's closed in, but did not open fire, peeling away. By the time 076 reached Bulltofta airfield near Malmö, it had only one engine left, but it did manage to perform a safe landing. The crew were interned, and the aircraft was impounded. The crew returned to the UK in October 1944, and 'Shoo shoo shoo baby' would later tour the world... Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

Avia BH-5 & Avia Bk.11 Download

File Description:
The plane was constructed according to the type BH-1, the first successful plane produced by the Avia Works. It was an all-wooden two-seat training, sports and messenger plane, which was bigger than BH-1, more solid and more sophisticated, in its aerodynamics and technology. It was designed for flying basic acrobatics. The BH-5 was the first Czechoslovak plane to win an international contest and thus received the King of Belgium‘s Prize and the prize of the Belgian Tourist Aircraft Contest in 1923. The pilot, Zdenìk Lhota, flew to Brussels and back with a layover in Mayence at an average speed of 138 km/h. In 1923 this was a remarkable performance, not only in the sport-plane category. In 1923, the type BH-5 also won the “D“ category in the President of the Republic’s Contest. The Walter NZ-60, a radial five-cylinder engine, was installed in the BH-5 plane; it was the very first and a very successful engine designed by the Walter Company. Based on the results of military tests of the BH-5s, the Ministry of Defense placed an order for a series of slightly improved BH-9, BH-10 and later also BH-11 Avias, which had been successful in many national, as well as international contests and also in record and promotion flights. The BH-5 Avia plane was marked L-BOSA; thanks to this mark, all the planes of this very successful series were nicknamed “boska“. This addon has detailed 3D model and VC, original sounds, real flight dynamics and manual.

RAF Bircham Newton - Norfolk, England Download

File Description:
RAF Bircham Newton is a former Royal Air Force station located 2.1 miles (3.4 km) south east of Docking, Norfolk and 13.4 miles (21.6 km) north east of King's Lynn, Norfolk, England.

The site was first used during the First World War and received the largest British bomber of the time, the Handley Page V/1500. They would have carried out bombing missions against Berlin but the Armistice was arranged before any missions were actually flown.

The airfield was equipped with one aircraft repair shed and three double bay general service sheds, although these had been demolished by 1937. It had two Belfast hangars, three C Type hangars, three Bellman hangars and ten Blister hangars. It operated through the Second World War as part of No. 16 Group RAF as part of Coastal Command.

No. 206 Squadron RAF was one of the squadrons being based there, on maritime patrol duties. Two satellite airfields, RAF Docking and RAF Langham were opened to accommodate units. In 1965 the airfield was used for evaluation trials of the Hawker Siddeley Kestrel V/STOL aircraft.

After closure as an operational airfield in 1966, the airfield became the home of the Construction Industry Training Board. The runways have gone, but the majority of buildings on the site, including some hangars and the control tower, remain in use by the CITB.The control tower was demolished in 2010 due to its poor condition. Constructionarium is also based within the estate, providing a week's practical learning opportunity for undergraduates

Antonov AN225-210 "Colossus" Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The AN225-210 is the result of a proposed 1 to 2-year projected modernization program which will convert the current AN225 into a much more useful and capable aircraft than the already infamous Мрія (Mriya) . The latter First flew on December 21, 1988, and is currently 33 years old. There have been a few maintenance periods and 1 major avionics modification, but otherwise is too old for reliable future use. The 2 year process involves reconstructing the landing gear system to support much more weight. The new engines are much more powerful, but lighter in weight, and much more fuel efficient. The wings are replaced with similar wings with more wing-area built of modern light-weight material which gives her higher lift capacity. The cargo hold area is reinforced for heavier weight limits. The crew areas (upper deck, fore/aft main wing) are modernized for long duration flight, and two galleys are included. The fuel tanks (9) now also involve 3 tanks in the upper center portion of the fuselage in order to put less stress on the wings. The pressure system is modernized to achieve 6,000 feet cabin pressure up to FL470. The internal and external lighting is fully modernized, the former for a pleasing effect and the latter for distinct recognition during flight. Overall, the aircraft does not appear different to the common observer. YBNS Bainsdale airport Victoria Australia Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Airport YBNS Bairnsdale is a regional airport in Victoria Australia. It has 2 runways a long 1101m sealed and lit 04/22 and a 850m sealed 13/31 There is a gocart track and a disused drag strip next to the airport. There is a thriving aero club and training for light aircraft and helicopters. These files are for Flight Simulator X. Made using Airport Design Editor using some objects borrowed from Robert Budd's excellent Baccus Marsh. The standard airport bears only a passing resemblance to the real thing so this scenery is a big improvement and accurately reproduces real world. RECOMMENDED The scenery is designed to interface with ORBX FTX_AU scenery for Australia (payware). It will work without ORBX but will not interface as well with standard scenery.
