| NEW Realistic HUD for the FSX F/A-18 Hornet |

File Description:
A realistic head-up display (HUD) for the FSX Acceleration F/A-18 Hornet. The HUD is an enhanced version of the original HUD for the F/A-18 by Scott Printz. The original functionality Scott built into it is preserved, and the following new features are added: 1) Precise ILS and TACAN navigation for aircraft carriers (including moving carriers) that allow carrier landings in low visibility and at night. 2) The HUD symbology is conformal to the outside world: The horizon bar stays on the horizon, velocity vector shows actual flight path as read against the outside world (if you keep your vector pointed at a certain spot on the runway, this is exactly where you will land). 3) Caged mode with ghost vector for use in heavy side wind conditions. 4) Elements repositioned to make the HUD look as close as possible to the real Hornet HUD. Enhancements made by a group of the beta testers for the Playsim Horizon Gen X volume 5 Orkney and Shetland Islands. Contains files for all airports and airstrips with blended flattens, lighthouses, windfarms, road traffic and ai air traffic all accurately placed. In the main, default models are used but there is some bespoke modelling, including the "Old Man of Hoy".
For the ai traffic it is necessary to have two freeware ai models on your system, but if not full details on downloads are available in the extensive manual.

This folder contains a repaint for the Accu-Sim version of the A2A B-17G Flying Fortress. The 42-5432 "The Hunting Club" was originally a B-17F. The aircraft crashed at Furstenberg by Deuten, Germany, on 22 June 1943 after being hit by flak. The payware A2A Accu-Sim B-17G model is required in order to use these textures

With the free tool EditVoicepack installed, you can import this file to your ATC system, and you'll read "La Morgal" and hear [la mor'gal], instead of "LEMR - Lima Echo Mike Romeo". Thanks to Lars Mollebjerg for his wonderful tool, that makes very much live the ATC in the FS world. This file works in FS9 and in FSX.
