| KROA - Roanoke Regional Airport (Woodrum Field) / Roanoke, VA |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This airport update was made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor) and made for FSX as a replacement for the stock (default) airport. I've made several changes to the airport which are listed below. All these enhancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects. I've used satellite images, terminal photos and maps throughout the whole process so building locations are as accurate as possible. Happy landings in scenic Virginia!
Features:
*Parking apron corrections
*Minor taxiway corrections
*Main terminal building with parking area for commercial traffic
*Seperate parking area for GA traffic
*Misc airport buildings added
*Airport vehicles and objects throughout the airport
*Fuel tanks and fueling vehicles
*Fire station
*Runway 15/33 renumbered correctly to 16/34
*Taxiway signs updated to reflect runway numbering change

| AI RNLAF F-16AM & BM |

File Description:
AI F-16AM & BM fighters in 23 different Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) livery's for FSX. They represent different F-16MLU aircraft currently operated by the RNLAF. | Supermarine Spitfire Mk. IIa (P7308) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This repaint is for the A2A Wings of Power III Spitfire, representing the Mk IIa, P7308 of 71 Squadron, flown by Pilot Officer William R. Dunn. 71 'Eagle' Squadron was formed when American pilots joined the Royal Air Force at the start of the Second World War. No.71 Squadron operated Spitfires out of North Weald from June 1941 until September 1942 when the 'Eagle' squadrons were disbanded, when the USA entered the war in Europe. This paint is based on the livery worn for the 70th anniversary of the United States Army Air Force arriving at RAF Duxford in April 1943.
