File Description:
This is a repaint of the Dino Cattaneo's S-3B "Viking". These textures represent a Viking of VS-38, "Red Griffins" as it appeared on the USS Ranger in June, 1989. On April 17, 2004, the squadron was officially disestablished at NAS North Island, CA as the Vikings were eliminated from USN inventory. The textures are those of an artist interpretation and resulting rendition. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need Dino Cattaneo's Lockheed S-3B Viking freeware package.

This is a repaint of the Dino Cattaneo's S-3B "Viking". These textures represent a Viking of VS-21, "Redtails" that was at Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi, Japan. On February 28, 2005, the squadron was officially disestablished as the Vikings were eliminated from USN inventory. This version has the TPS. The textures are those of an artist interpretation and resulting rendition. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need Dino Cattaneo's Lockheed S-3B Viking freeware package.
Textures work in FSX and P3D.

The asphalt runway has the physical dimensions 1,740 by 40 meters (5,710 by 130 ft) and is aligned 14/32. Scheduled services are provided to Oslo by Wideroe. A Gmax representation of Dragon Peaks Air Force Base also referred to as CL van Wyngaard Airfield (fictional ID: AW56), Northern Drakensberg, South Africa withphotoreal textures.
AFB Dragon Peaks is a small airfield nestled between the hills on the slopes of the Northern Drakensberg of South Africa. The airfield is situated only a few hundred meters from the Dragon Peaks Mountain resort as well as the home of the famous Drakensberg Boys Choir.
The grass runway is aligned 06/24 and 458m long and sits at an elevation of 3 986ft.

All models are prepared to use alternative avionics like F1 G500/600, F1 GTN 750/650, F1 GNS, Bendix KLN 90B and RXP GNS. Instructions for the installation of RXP GTN are included. Important: XMLTools FSX or P3Dv3 must be installed to get a realistic engine behavior. Please read readme/manual.
