File Description:
Flight 12 (FMCH - FMCZ)
With all the many airports and various terrains on FSX, I have decided to contribute to the wonderful FSX flight community by providing pre-selected
Flight plans which i have created using pre-selected VOR's , NDB's and way points, with careful selection of realistic departure and arrival tracks.
Weather your flying commercial Jets, or props or cargo, I am sure there is something here for you..check it out (Just place the included PLN file in your
saved routes folder) and Load it from the FSX flight planner and it will show up on your aircraft GPS and Flight Managment display, Pilots are strongly
recommended to adhere to altitude and speed restrictions, as that will make the flight more comfortable for both pilots and passengers, and will allow for
the enjoyment of the scenery and flight. I have included a Paint version of the flight plan with notes. The route is designed to be as as realistic as
possible, so pilots and aircraft are expected to follow strict departure and arrival stations.
Included here is my first flight : (Prince Said Ibrahim international / Comoros islands (FMCH) - Pamandazi / mayotte (FMCZ) (169 - nm)
Recommended departure time (05:00 AM DAwn)
Recommended Aircraft CantuEMB120.zip by Mr.Eric Cantu availabe at Avsim.com
recommended Weather (fair on departure) (grey and rainy on arrival)
Recommended call sign (Yankee 1 Foxtrot)
Flight number 12
Flight Time 33 minutes
Situation orientation (Fictional) : A struggling Morani based aviation company makes its bucks on a single boeing 707 servicing mombasa,
as well as two Embraer120 servicing the adjacent islands and airports, Flight 12 is a twice a week flight to Pamandzi (160 nm South of Morani / 30 mins hop)
Due to the timing of the flight (4:45 AM), its infamous with the pilots and passangers who despise getting this flight, but work is work and life goes on.
The residents of Dzaoudzi (arrival airport)
always look forward for flight 12's arrival as it brings home relatives, friends, the once in a while tourists as well as mail and supplies.
Your the captain of this flight today , Flight 12 to Pamandzi is now boarding, please display your boarding slips at the door and walk directly to the
aircraft.Goodmorning captain, coffee?

File Description:
Since it became operational in 1955, the B-52 has been the main long-range heavy bomber of the U.S. Air Force. It first flew on Apr. 15, 1952. Nearly 750 B-52s were built when production ended in Oct. 1963. This "J" model is the future re-engined "h" model 60-0042 of the 917th Wing AFRC based at Barksdale AFB (KBAD). She flies higher, further, and faster than any previous version. The aircraft can cruise at 380 KIAS at 500 ft agl over about 5,000 nm which makes her capable of reaching targets within enemy airspace anywhere on the globe without being detected by radar until it's too late. Her normal high altitude cruise speed has been increased to Mach .88 above FL550E over 9,000 nm without refueling, and her service ceiling has increased to FL570E. The 50,000 lb payload is still nominal, but due to the lighter engines she now has more accomidations for the crew, and does not require refueling very often. She can range much further with less speed (i.e., Mach .85), but there is normally no need for that. This aircraft is designed to fly like the real thing. It is likely one of the best B-52 models available at this time. I have test-flown this aircraft around the globe several times to reassure myself that all is well. You will not have a bouncing effect occur when cruising with 16x speed acceleration and autopilot engaged because all aerodynamics and balance are perfected to a very low margin of error, or no error margin at all. Please be sure to read the INSTRUCT.TXT file for extended details. Original aircraft designer: Mike Stone; Textures by Bill Baldwin; Panel and gauges by Philippe Wallaert; Auto Smoke Effects by Richard Wisman; BR-725 Sound by Ronald Buffalo; Real World aero/engine dynamics, data, lights and effects by: Douglas E. | Boeing 747-8i Delta Northwest |
|
File Description:
FSX Boeing 747-8i Delta Northwest with advanced VC by Alejandro Rojas Lucena and VC Texture Upgrade by Enrique Cornejo. This gives the b747 a payware Virtual Cockpit look! It even has a pilot jacket hanged in the rear of the cockpit (besides the right jumpseat).
The panel.cfg and the aircraft.cfg have been assembled and edited by the Flightsim Workshop Team. Now you can pop up "My icons" window in the Virtual Cockpit to easily reach the following windows: GPS, avionics, map, ATC, Climb/Radio Altimeter/Spoiler switch, auto-break switch, throttle quadrant, clock, descentometer, kneeboard and overhead panel.
The aircraft has new engine views (from both wings) and new Virtual Cockpit interior views from the left, right and central jump seats.
The Delta Northwest texture is wonderful and it has a unique paintscheme by Mcphat Studios with a repaint by Enrique Cornejo which also includes details such as some stains caused by humidity and other details just like a real aircraft.
This aircraft uses the Project Opensky FSX Boeing B747-800 Model OSX748V4_GENX(MDL), and includes the gauge window Posky Utility to view the main stairs, ground cargo servicing, etc. The engine sounds are edited like the real ones with cockpit ambient, so you can enjoy a pleasant flight. The Flight Management Computer (FMC) is fixed and looks like a payware instrument. The VC includes FMC, Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multi-Function Display (MDF) displayed in the correct size.
The virtual cockpit also has an Engine-Indicating and Crew-Alerting System also known as EICAS, Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), working wipers, cabin lights, fire suppression, avionics switch, fuel crossfeed, and you can identify those intruments in the overhead panel because they are bordered with color lines. You can also find landing lights switches, taxi light switch, engine generators, APU generator, battery switch, starter switches, de-ice switch, general lights switches which are a great work of Alejandro. So now the whole cockpit and texture upgrade with all these improvements looks better than a payware version. The clock numbers are now in orange which makes them look better and easily recognizable.
Assembled and edited for FSX by Enrique Cornejo.

File Description:
This airport was made using Airport Design Editor, Google Sketchup, and Instant Scenery 2. Albany International Airport, Is an airport located near Albany, New York. The airport has scheduled airline flights. Almost all of the buildings are custom made with photo textures to make it closer to real life. At the main terminal, I added more gates and put moving jetways. The gates have assigned parking codes. There is a parking lot next to the terminal full of cars. I put the airport access road in between the parking lot and the terminal. At the southwest ramp, I put hangars and some you can taxi inside of. If you choose to start off from the southwest DOCK gate, You will start off inside the Million Air Aviation FBO. I also put static aircraft on the ramp too. To the northwest, I put the New York Police hangar. You can start off inside this hangar by choosing the Northwest DOCK gate. Taxiing into or starting off inside a hangar will not cause a crash unless you touch the sides. To the Northeast, I put the cargo terminal with trucks. At the cargo section, I put three FedEx Cessna Caravans. I also put the control tower and the buildings. Tower views are from the roof of the control tower. To the southeast, I put small hangars and the Air National Guard Section with UH-60 helicopters. I extended runway 1/19 to the correct length of 8,500 feet. I also put red, blue, green, and purple Cessna 172s in different places around the airport. There will be more objects if your scenery complexity is set to normal (such as jetways, aircraft, and vehicles). This was all made based on Google Earth Imagery and Bing Maps. There are no night textures for the buildings. This will be added in a future version. An installer program is included to install the airport for you. There will be more versions of this that include night textures and static business jets. This is for Flight Simulator X only. By Tyler Lawrence.

| C-17 Globemaster III/ER |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
The C-17 Globemaster III/ER is a heavy cargo aircraft used by several foreign militaries, but primarily the U.S. Air Force. She is designed to do many things that other cargo aircraft cannot, based on her unique design. This version incorporates the extended range fuel tanks. The real world aircraft can actually use reverse thrust in flight, up to 100% reverse power, during descents or on the ground. It is also the only heavy aircraft in the world with a wing efficiency factor over 1.0, which is theoretically impossible, but true. All of the dynamics in this model are correct down to the inch, so she does almost everything the real aircraft does. Some things are not possible in FSX, including reverse thrust while in flight, but full flaps/slats employed in a steep descent will adequately simulate this effect without damage to the model while in flight. The landing gear are authentic and capable of heavy loads. The weight and balance is authentic. The fuel tanks are authentic. The aircraft name, tail number, location, and callsign are authentic. The calculated range(s) listed are all authentic, understanding that most public data released is based on average range, at average altitude, and normal payload missions. The sound is authentic. The engine dynamics are authentic. The panel used is the best I could find, is fairly authentic, and requires some pre-flight study before flight. All-in-All the aircraft is very simple to fly, but requires some study to operate correctly, so I recommend all simmers watch as many "You Tube" videos, read as many authentic sites, and study as much as possible about this aircraft before operation. | Rybachiy Submarine Base "The Hornet's Nest" |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Rybachiy Nuclear Submarine Base, NATO reporting name "The Hornet's Nest." This scenery is specific to the Aerosoft addon "Kamchatka - the Lost Continent." You are welcome to use it, regardless, but in testing, only half the peninsula showed with the Aerosoft scenery inactive.
Rybachiy has a long and chequered past as the home of the Soviet Pacific submarine fleet. It launched the ill fated K-129 in 1968 and is the final stop for submarines before being "disposed" of, a process that includes either sinking the nuclear core, or interring it indefinitely on a floating platform.
I more or less copied the state depicted in Wikimapia, it shows the docks relatively clear of excess retired subs and 10 or 12 Grumble launchers at the SAM site, which is no longer the case. I wonder who's buying up the retired SA-10's..
The odd looking torpedo on the loading dock is the 240 mph, super-cavitating VA-111 Shkval, which is essentially a rocket engined defensive weapon. A consequence of the presumed and persistent superiority of Western underwater acoustics, it is understood that the enemy would "get the drop." In such a circumstance, the crew would load a Shkval and fire it in the direction of the approaching torpedo, which would force the attacking sub to sever the control wire to avoid being hit.
Elsewhere, at the SLBM dock, you can see the R-29 Vysota being loaded. It is being advertized as a launch platform for low orbit satellites, besides MIRV's, of course. The SLBM dock is removed from the main base. Steer north of west from the docks, or use Wikimapia to find it.
This is an edit and enhancement of a scenery addon already published by Blaunarwal. He did an excellent job adding detail to Yelizovo, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Avachinskiy Bay. I contacted him and asked if he would collaborate and edit his AI boat traffic to match the docks I moved and he graciously agreed. I tried to arrange the files so it would be equally easy to install to the previous version or as an original.

File Description:
THIS IS MY FINAL AN-22 VERSION: Unveiled to the West in 1965, the Antonov An-22 was the world's largest aircraft, until the advent of the Lockheed C-5A Galaxy. Powered by 4 contra-rotating turboprops, the design remains the world's largest turboprop-powered airplane. The An-22 was originally built for the Soviet Air Force and Aeroflot, the state airline. A total of 68 aircraft were built during 1965-1975, from which 2 never flew, 19 have been preserved, and 33 removed from service. Currently only 7 are in service. Six of them are used by the Russian Air Force and one (UR-09307) belongs to Antonov Design Bureau, used for civil needs, and operates out of UKKM. The AN-22 is designed to carry heavy loads of 80 tonnes over a 3,000 nm range at high speed and moderate altitude. The civilian model is used for long and medium range flights with updated avionics and flight controls. The wing has a forward and rear sweep effect with a low taper ratio and moderate wing area for it's size. The tail includes twin vertical fins that help maintain stability. The engines are constant speed turboprops that include 2 four bladed contra-rotating props with auto-pitch, and this gives her a thrust rating of 15,211 shp and a fuel efficiency of .353 lb/hp/hr. The cargo area is 14 ft high and wide, and 108 ft long. All fuel is contained within the wings and in the upper fuselage (7 tanks). She has 12 wheels that carry most of the weight, and two steering wheels located behind the crew cabin. Cargo is loaded through the rear loading ramp. The cockpit is located high, as well as the crew quarters. Additional passengers (when present) are seated below the cockpit forward. Original Design and Textures by: Enrique Del Rosario; Sound by: Aaron R. Swindle; Panel by: Marco Spada; Auto Smoke Effects by Richard Wisman; Engine/Aero Dynamics, effects and data by: Douglas E. | KLVN - Airlake Airport - Lakeville, MN, USA |
|
File Description:
KLVN - Airlake Airport beta version .3 - by Jason Boche
This is an update of the default FSX KLVN airport. Aside from the original 12/30 runway, everything else at this airport has been completely ripped and replaced.
Enhancements include:
-Extended runway on each end to depict current configuration
-Accurate taxiways including Hamburg Ave. and buildings representing the current general aviation hangars
-Added navigational equipment on the field
-Added a few asphault and dirt service roads
-Added FBO and other buildings as close as I could match them
-Added some general aviation aircraft, civilians, vehicles at the FBO and hangars, and two fuel trucks
-Moved fuel station to where I believe it is currently according to Google maps with 100LL fuel trigger functional
-Moved the windsock to accurate location
-Moved the beacon to accurate location
-Moved GA parking spots
-Added trees around FBO and beacon
-Added utility poles
-Added a few square miles of Lakeville city, farm, and residential land class and autogen according to Google maps. This is probably the biggest improvement. It now looks like people live, work, and shop north/northwest of KLVN.
-Reworked the runway 12/30 blast pads to what I believe is the "proper" method. Instead of freehand polygon asphault, they are now actual runway extensions on both ends with yellow chevron markings
-Reworked the land class on the southwest end of the airport where I believe hangar expansion is intended. Prior to this, there was a sharp contrast between where the KLVN airport boundary ended and where generic farm landclass began which was right in the middle of the southwest taxiways and it looked bad. Now that whole region is grass and looks to be part of the airport parcel.
-Minor building adjustments west of the FBO to better match actual placement. Will only be shown on high scenery detail.
-Fixed a gap on the southeast end of Hamburg ave taxiway where it rounds the corner for the rwy 30 hold short line
-Randomized the directional facing of some of the cars parked at GA hangars
-Renumbered the parking spots 1-4 with #5 being the refueling spot
-Reversed the start direction of parking spots 1-3.
-Pulled the refueling parking "start" spot back because on start the engine cowling & prop were too far forward inside the fuel pump equipment
-Added an autogen exclusion to the rwy 12 short final due to trees popping up on short final path.
-KLVN tower viewpoint 25 meters above FBO.
-Removed the perimeter fence around the entire field
