This is a Repaint for the PMDG Boeing 737-600 model in the historical livery of OE-LNL (30137/526). OE-LNL was delivered to Lauda air in May 2000. This Boeing 737-6Z9 was leased from the US Navy for flight training purposes from December 2003 until October 2009 (it flew in Lauda colors; registration during this time: N743NV). It returned to Austria and then was repainted into Austrian Airlines color scheme. The aircraft has been scrapped in St. Athan Airport in 2012. To use these textures you will need the PMDG 737-600/700 NGX available here: http://www.precisionmanuals.com/

| B-52J |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Since it became operational in 1955, the B-52 has been the main long-range heavy bomber of the U.S. Air Force. It first flew on Apr. 15, 1952. Nearly 750 B-52s were built when production ended in Oct. 1963. This "J" model is the future re-engined "h" model 60-0042 of the 917th Wing AFRC based at Barksdale AFB (KBAD). She flies higher, further, and faster than any previous version. The aircraft can cruise at 380 KIAS at 500 ft agl over about 5,000 nm which makes her capable of reaching targets within enemy airspace anywhere on the globe without being detected by radar until it's too late. Her normal high altitude cruise speed has been increased to Mach .88 above FL550E over 9,000 nm without refueling, and her service ceiling has increased to FL570E. The 50,000 lb payload is still nominal, but due to the lighter engines she now has more accomidations for the crew, and does not require refueling very often. She can range much further with less speed (i.e., Mach .85), but there is normally no need for that. This aircraft is designed to fly like the real thing. It is likely one of the best B-52 models available at this time. I have test-flown this aircraft around the globe several times to reassure myself that all is well. You will not have a bouncing effect occur when cruising with 16x speed acceleration and autopilot engaged because all aerodynamics and balance are perfected to a very low margin of error, or no error margin at all. Please be sure to read the INSTRUCT.TXT file for extended details. Original aircraft designer: Mike Stone; Textures by Bill Baldwin; Panel and gauges by Philippe Wallaert; Auto Smoke Effects by Richard Wisman; BR-725 Sound by Ronald Buffalo; Real World aero/engine dynamics, data, lights and effects by: Douglas E. Trapp, FS Flight Dynamics Engineer, Irving, Texas, [email protected], October 2018. | Pilatus PC-6C KLU SFIR, Tallil, Iraq, 2004 |
|
File Description:
Pilatus PC-6C H2 Turbo Porter for FSX by Tim Conrad in a Royal Netherlands Air Force livery. The PC-6C Turbo Porter has been an amazing contribution to the STOL aircraft fleet around the world for decades. It's robust airframe and excellent aerodynamics make the plane very popular for para-drops, but also for supply missions in remote area's throughout the globe. Despite it's age the aircraft is still widely in use. This repaint represents a "what-if" RNLAF PC-6C in 336 Sqn colours. 336 Sqn has been a Dutch Antilles based Air Force MARPAT unit operating F-27MPA's. Currently the Sqn operates four C-130's from Eindhoven AB, with a new Sqn logo. This PC-6C is (fictionally and prior to the 336 Sqn re-establishment) operated by 2 ULF(Utility and Liaison Flight), 336 Sqn. The flight is designated to operate anywhere in the world. This livery resembles a unit operating from Tallil AB (Ali Air Base (ORTL), Iraq) under SFIR mandate, and in support of the Dutch battlegroup, Al Muthanna, 2004. The aircraft shares the same registration as my previous livery (PC-6C_KLU.zip), but weathered, tone-down camouflaged and 32 years later. You need the excellent freeware PC-6C H2 Turbo Porter by Tim Conrad in order to use this repaint. Enjoy!

| HUD Parameters for FSX |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
HUD_Parameters.lua is a Lua script that displays flight parameters in a small text window that pops up when the script is selected by an assigned key or button if the aircraft is in the air.
Parameters displayed are:
• Indicated Airspeed (IAS. Kts)
• True Airspeed (TAS, Kts)
• Ground Speed (GS, Kts)
• Mach# (when above a user settable altitude, currently 25000ft)
• Altitude (ALT, ft)
• Radio Altitude (RA, ft)
• Vertical Speed (VS, ft/min)
• Vertical Speed per Nautical Mile (VS/NM, ft/NM)
• Attitude Indicator pitch (AI, degrees)
• Flight Path Angle (FPA, degrees)
The top of the script contains user settable values for the size and location of the display, the altitude above which the a/c Mach# will be displayed (default is 25000ft), the data update interval in milliseconds (default is 2000),
and whether or not data is to be logged in HUD_Parameters.log (default is 0, off). These values can be set using a text editor like NotePad.
A registered copy of FSUIPC is required to execute the Lua script. Simply copy the script to the Modules folder of FSX and use FSUIPC4 to assign a key, button or switch to toggle the script on and off.
The script turns off if the aircraft is on the ground.

| EGXJ - RAF Cottesmore - Rutland, England |
|
File Description:
RAF Cottesmore (ICAO EGXJ) is a former Royal Air Force station in Rutland, England, situated between Cottesmore and Market Overton.
The Stationed opened on 11 March 1938 and was used mainly for training, and the first squadrons were equipped with Vickers Wellesley aircraft, but soon converted to Fairey Battles. Later RAF Bomber Command took over the airfield, again as a training station, flying Handley Page Hampdens. These units remained in residence until a few days before the outbreak of war in 1939 when they were sent to RAF Cranfield to serve as a pool providing replacements for combat losses. Their place at Cottesmore was taken by Nos. 106 and 185 Squadrons, moving in from RAF Thornaby with Hampdens. However, with the outbreak of war, the aircraft and crews were sent to locations in the north and west, as enemy air attacks were expected over the southern half of England. As these never materialised, the Hampdens returned in the spring of 1940 and No. 185 Squadron became the Hampden operational training unit, No. 14 Operational Training Unit RAF.
RAF Cottesmore's Hampdens' first trespass into hostile airspace was a leaflet dropping operation over northern France. In October 1940, 106 Squadron moved to RAF Finningley while No. 14 OTU remained training crews for Bomber Command, its Hampdens and HP.53 Herefords being replaced by Vickers Wellingtons in 1942. Training continued for three years and three months until August 1943 when No. 14 OTU moved to RAF Market Harborough.
In early December 2009, it was announced the station would close due to funding cut-backs, in part to help pay for additional helicopters for British operations in Afghanistan.
In 2010, No. 4 Squadron RAF disbanded, with No. 20 Squadron RAF re-badging as No 4 (Reserve) Squadron.
The station became a satellite to RAF Wittering on 31 March 2011 with a civic parade and flypast to mark the disbandment of No 1 Sqn RAF, 800 NAS, 801 NAS and JFH.
In July 2011 Defence Secretary Liam Fox announced plans for it to be the airfield for one of five of the Army's Multi-Role Brigades. In April 2012 it was renamed Kendrew Barracks after Major General Sir Douglas Kendrew.

| Boeing 747-8i Delta Northwest |
|
File Description:
FSX Boeing 747-8i Delta Northwest with advanced VC by Alejandro Rojas Lucena and VC Texture Upgrade by Enrique Cornejo. This gives the b747 a payware Virtual Cockpit look! It even has a pilot jacket hanged in the rear of the cockpit (besides the right jumpseat).
The panel.cfg and the aircraft.cfg have been assembled and edited by the Flightsim Workshop Team. Now you can pop up "My icons" window in the Virtual Cockpit to easily reach the following windows: GPS, avionics, map, ATC, Climb/Radio Altimeter/Spoiler switch, auto-break switch, throttle quadrant, clock, descentometer, kneeboard and overhead panel.
The aircraft has new engine views (from both wings) and new Virtual Cockpit interior views from the left, right and central jump seats.
The Delta Northwest texture is wonderful and it has a unique paintscheme by Mcphat Studios with a repaint by Enrique Cornejo which also includes details such as some stains caused by humidity and other details just like a real aircraft.
This aircraft uses the Project Opensky FSX Boeing B747-800 Model OSX748V4_GENX(MDL), and includes the gauge window Posky Utility to view the main stairs, ground cargo servicing, etc. The engine sounds are edited like the real ones with cockpit ambient, so you can enjoy a pleasant flight. The Flight Management Computer (FMC) is fixed and looks like a payware instrument. The VC includes FMC, Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multi-Function Display (MDF) displayed in the correct size.
The virtual cockpit also has an Engine-Indicating and Crew-Alerting System also known as EICAS, Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), working wipers, cabin lights, fire suppression, avionics switch, fuel crossfeed, and you can identify those intruments in the overhead panel because they are bordered with color lines. You can also find landing lights switches, taxi light switch, engine generators, APU generator, battery switch, starter switches, de-ice switch, general lights switches which are a great work of Alejandro. So now the whole cockpit and texture upgrade with all these improvements looks better than a payware version. The clock numbers are now in orange which makes them look better and easily recognizable.
Assembled and edited for FSX by Enrique Cornejo.
