This repaint is for the A2A Wings of Power III Spitfire Mk Ia. Representing the Spitfire Mk. I, LZ-F, X4321 of 66 Sqn, RAF Kenley. Flown by Flt/Lt Crelin Arthur Walford Bodie, D.F.C.
On 5 September 1940, while engaged in combat with Bf 109Es with this aircraft, P/O Crelin 'Bogle' Bodie's aircraft was severely damaged and he was forced to belly-land. He survived this and a further incident on 5th October 1940 with another Bf 109, only to loose his life on February 24th 1942, aged 21 years in a flying accident. He was officially credited with 7 aerial victories.

This folder contains a repaint for the 'P-51D-5-NA Little Friends_Fillet' package of the Warbirdsim P-51D Mustang in the colors of P-51D-5 #44-13873 MC-U "Georgia Boy" as it was flown by Lt. Thomas 'Tom' W. Gardner from Atlanta Georgia. He flew with the 79th FS/20th FG, based in Kingscliffe UK, between 7 july 1944 and 15 january 1945, when he finished his tour. The paint depicts what his aircraft looked like in the winter of 1944, after the application of the piano key nose markings.
Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Warbirdsim.

| P-51D Mustang "Petie 2nd" NL5427V |

File Description:
This is a repaint only for the WWII Fighters P-51D. This aircraft, 44-72942, is a WWII vet, and flew with the 12th AF. After the war the aircraft served with various ANG units before being sold surplus in 1957. The aircraft was restored in the early 80's and painted in the markings of Lt. Col. John Meyer's 352nd FG mount, "Petie 2nd." In 1985 the aircraft was purchased by Anthony Buechler of Wisconsin, and has been with him ever since, loging more than 2000 hours of flying time in the now 22 years he has owned the aircraft. It has never been raced and never been wrecked.

| B-24 USAAF 449th BG "Big Noise from Kentucky" |

File Description:
B-24H 42-52149 "Big Noise from Kentucky" flew 25 missions with the 718th BS/ 449th BG, based in Grottaglie, Italy, 1944. She was credited with four downed fighters during a raid on Udine 0n 30 jan 1944. She was shot down by flak over Bor, Yugoslavia on 5 may 1944, returning from Ploesti. The crew managed to return to base, except for the co-pilot, who broke his ankle on landing, and was captured. The aircraft was named by the 1st pilot, Lt. D-EMLH c/n 28-8090015. ex N2971Q. Named "Gundel" for what reason I have no clue. Maybe someone had a memorable meal there. (Google Gundel Hungary)
Gundel did service with Lufthansa as a trainer and now belongs to aero-beta Flight Training in Stuttgart. Love the tailfin. Who says the Germans have no sense of humour? :-)
As per usual, only download this paint if you possess a bona fide copy of Carenado's Archer II.

| Republic P-47D-20 365th FG (B4-J) "the Madam" |

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-15-RE 42-75845 B4-J "The Madam". It was the assigned aircraft of Lieutenant John H. Fetzer, from Shreveport Louisiana, of the 387th FS/ 365th FG during D-Day. He was flying as wingman of Capt. Arlo Henry on 6 June 1944, D-Day, when they spotted a number of Tiger tanks trying to hide in a castle. Capt Henry blew up the castle with his bombs, while Lt Fetzer attacked a Tiger with his 1000 lb bombs. His first bomb exploded harmlessly in a field, but his second "my contribution to D-Day" exploded right behind the Tiger, flipping it over 3 times. As for 42-75845, she proved to be a very strong lady. It began its career with the initial start of operations of the 365h FG, with Lt. Fetzer as its original pilot. He named the aircraft after his future wife, Helen. It flew its 200th mission in March 1945, and continued right to the end of the war, as the only remaining original Thunderbolt of the 365th. She was shot up several times, had wings and engines replaced and countless holes patched, but its crew chief, Joe DiMaio remarked that as long as 'the Madam' came back, he would keep her flying, and he did. Repaint of the 2015 restructured Lufthansa Low Cost Airline "Eurowings", Registration D-AIZS.
The original aircraft is an A320neo with sharklets, but due to the feelThere / Wilco mesh this repaint contains the older triangular winglets. I am sorry for this bug...
Also added you will find my sound file for the thrust lever positions to replace the feelThere sound.
You need to have the feelThere Wilco Airbus Series Vol1 or Evolution software installed, tested in Flight Simulator X only!

SAS, PanAm, Air Jamaica, DHL, Aerounion, Lufthansa (classic), Zero-G, TEA and F-WUAB prototype. Last one comes with custom prototype VC and panel, rebuild by using only one photo. Except for future freighter of MRTT engine versions, this one completes my Airbus series for FSX.
