Bagdogra Airport, (IATA: IXB, ICAO: VEBD) is an international airport located in about 16 km (9.9 mi) west of the cities of Siliguri, 52 km (32 mi) away from Jalpaiguri and 65 km (40 mi) away from Darjeeling, the cities which the airport mainly serves, at Bagdogra in Darjeeling district in northern West Bengal, India. This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47B 79001 of the Swedish Air Force that was at the start of the Catalina affair (Swedish: Catalinaaffären), a military confrontation and Cold War-era diplomatic crisis in June 1952, in which Soviet fighter jets shot down two Swedish aircraft over international waters in the Baltic Sea. The first aircraft to be shot down was an unarmed Swedish Air Force Tp 79, a derivative of the Douglas DC-3, carrying out radio and radar signals intelligence-gathering for the National Defence Radio Establishment. None of the crew of eight was rescued. The second aircraft to be shot down was a Swedish Air Force Tp 47, a Catalina flying boat, involved in the search and rescue operation for the missing DC-3. The Catalina's crew of five was saved. The Soviet Union publicly denied involvement until its dissolution in 1991. The aircraft was manufactured in 1943 with original US serial number 42-5694, and was delivered to USAAF 15th Troop Carrier Squadron (61st Troop Carrier Group). It saw action in northern Africa before being stationed at RAF Barkston Heath. On June 13, 1952, it disappeared east of the isle of Gotska Sandön while carrying out signals intelligence-gathering operations for the Swedish National Defence Radio Establishment. Both aircraft were located in 2003, and the DC-3 was salvaged, and the wreckage is currently on display in the Swedish Air Force Museum near Linköping. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

RAF Spanhoe (also known as Harringworth or Wakerley) (ICAO X3SE) is a former World War II airfield in Northamptonshire, England. The airfield is located approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) east of Uppingham; about 80 miles (130 km) north-northwest of London
Opened in 1943, it was used by both the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces. During the war it was used primarily as a transport airfield,
it was closed in late 1945 after the WWII.
Today, much of the airfield has been returned to agriculture, however; the remains of some of the runways can be seen from the air and a part of the old peri track is used by various privately owned light aircraft which are housed at the old airfield. Source: Wikipedia

File Description:
RAF Langar (ICAO X3LR) is a former Royal Air Force station located near the village of Langar, Nottinghamshire, England. The airfield is located approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) east-southeast of Radcliffe on Trent and about 100 miles (160 km) north-northwest of London, England.
Opened in 1942 during World War II, it was used by both the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces. During the war it was used primarily as troop carrier transport airfield. After the war it was provided to the Royal Canadian Air Force which used it as an operational base until 1963.
Today the airfield is the location for the British Parachute Schools, who use the original control tower for their headquarters. The former Avro industrial complex is used by private industry.

This download contains two liveries for the C-47 as owned and flown The Netherlands Government and is applicable for the Douglas C-47 V3 version by Manfred Jahn, Jan Visser and their team. This aircraft was once active in the II World War and thereafter stored in Germany. In 1946 it came in ownership with the Netherlands Government and was regularly flown by his RH Prince Bernard of The Netherlands and has flown for the Royal household for some years. In the first year it flew under its military registration and later it became registered as the well known PH-PBA. Requires "DOUGLAS_C-47_V3_12_BETA.ZIP" to be installed on your system in advance.The textures are based on the original textures from Jan Visser and have been modified by Emile Lancee.

| YFRV Oombugurri Community, Western Australia (Town closed 2011) |

File Description:
YFRV Oombugurri Community, Western Australia, formerly Forrest River Mission. Features extensive flattening of Forrest River which runs uphill. Take a flight there before installing the scenery.
Oombulgurri, was an Aboriginal community in the eastern Kimberley, 45 kilometres southeast of Wyndham.
The Anglican Forrest River Mission for Aborigines was founded in 1896���¢������97 by Harold Hale (Later Bishop of Prth) but was abandoned after a few months. A permanent mission, known as the Forrest River Mission, was established on the site in 1913 by the bishop of the north west, the Rt. Rev. Gerard Trower. In December 1913, Anglican priest Ernest Gribble took charge, three years after he was forced to resign as superintendent at Yarrabah. Gribble remained as superintendent until the early 1930s.
In 1926 the mission was plagued by an influenza epidemic and impacted by the Forrest River massacre where police killed a number of Aboriginal people. This event remains controversial.
The mission was closed in 1969, after the 1967 Aboriginal referendum.
In 1973, fifty Aboriginal people decided to resettle their abandoned tribal land and rename it Oombulgurri. Within a year, the population had grown to 200. Infrastructure and welfare programs were set up in the 1970s and 1980s to provide the residents with basic amenities and to allow the town to become self-sufficient.
In 2007 a Coronial Inquiry began into Aboriginal deaths in the Kimberley, including five in Oombulgurri. It revealed high levels of alcohol abuse, suicide and child neglect in Oombulgurri. Some time after the inquest, alcohol was banned there and the population began to move away to areas where alcohol was available.
It had a population of 107 as of the 2006 census. In 2011, the government of Western Australia encouraged residents of Oombulgurri to move elsewhere as it considered the community "unviable". The last residents from Oombulgurri were relocated to Wyndham just before Christmas 2011. REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip

This is a repaint of the HS-748 Srs2A in Zambia Airways 1980 colors. The freeware HS-748 by Rick Piper is needed for this repaint. This is a repaint of 9J-ABW in the final livery of Zambia Airways. It was purchased in 1970 and after its retirement in 1989 it was sold to Norbail-Heliglobe Finet France C. Textures are 1024 32bit dds. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

This is a repaint of the Douglas DC-7C in Overseas National Airways - ONA 1966 colors. The freeware CalClassic DC-7C model by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson is needed for this repaint. This DC-7C was painted in the new dark blue colors of ONA. It was an ex Pan American aircraft which ONA purchased in April 1966 and was utilized until 1967. Textures are 32bit bmp.This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX, P3D v1-3, & FS2004.

This is a repaint of the HS-748 Series 2A in Trinidad and Tobago Air Services - TTAS 1980 colors. The freeware Hawker Siddeley HS-748 by Rick Piper is needed for this repaint. The more modern turboprop HS-748s replaced the DC-6Bs on all TTAS routes by 1978. They were consequently all absorbed by BWIA, after the merger with TTAS in 1980. Textures are 32bit bmp. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

This is a repaint of the DC-8-63CF in Seaboard World 1976 colors. The payware JustFlight DC-8-50--70 pack is needed for this repaint. Seaboard World received their first DC-8-63CF in June 1968. At that time it was the world's biggest airliner. Seaboard ordered 12 of the type. N8639 was delivered new to Seaboard World in August 1968. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3. Textures are DXT5 dds.
