AI Flight Planner Version 2 FS9 Compatible

File Description: AI Flight Planner is a fully-integrated, comprehensive AI flight planning system for both FS9 and FSX. It can use either TTools-format text files or compiled MSFS traffic files as source data. Among its unique features are: departure and arrival times may be specified using local time, airports specified using either ICAO or IATA codes, similar legs in weekly flight plans created automatically, comprehensive error checking and traffic file validation and conversion. Version 2 adds a full range of flight plan and repaint installion capabilities as well as several other new functions. These new capabilities were developed in cooperation with AIG (Alpha-India Group). While intended to meet AIG's specific requirements, AIFP version 2 remains a general purpose tool that may be used to install anyone's flight plans and repaint packages. This re-release of Version 2 is to facilitate future updates from http://stuff4fs.com. Current users of Version 2 will be automatically updated.

File Description: True FSX versions of most, but not all, of the models that AIA has previously released for FS9. (See "Limitations and drawbacks" txt file to find out what's not included)... These will give better FPS performance in FSX than using the FS9 models, though with a few FSX inherent limitations... 99.1% compatible with repaints made for FS9 models. (There is a lightmap issue, see the included PDF for more information.)... You must know how to manually install an aircraft model in FS to have any hope of successfully using these files... TTools AI flightplans to MS format flightplans

File Description:
At the moment, there are some difficulties to transfer AI flightplans files, written in TTools format to FSX, and to compile them to some file within the FSX scenery subdirectories. It is therefore desirable to convert these TTools flightplans to the MS format in order to be able to compile them to files in FSX scenery. The program converts AI Flightplans files in TTools format to the corresponding files in MS format in FS9 as well as in FSX, provided that (at least marginal) aircraft files exist in TTools and in MS format. The program does not compile the resulting flightplans files (neither in FS9 nor in FSX). This has to be done afterwards with the TrafficDatabase Builders in the respective SDK's.
