AirEd152 Update

File Description:
AirEd(itor) has become one of the most versatile .air-file editors for MSFS 2000 up to 2004/FS9. For FS9 in particular the treatment of section [1101] has become pivotal for tuning the aerodynamics of FS9 aircraft. Yet, for many users the expert jargon remains obscure. Yahia now provides more information on [1101], making tuning easier to understand! References to the CFG file are made as well. Just right-click on an item in [1101] to see new amendments, test values and hints. Some divert from earlier insights or explain where things can go wrong. Also about taxiing are some new hints. AirEd now becomes an easy to understand "Must Have" for everybody interested in tuning FS9 aircraft.

Twin Turboprop EICAS Panel

File Description:
This program displays a functional EICAS panel for a typical Twin Engine Turboprop aircraft. It is designed to be used with WideFS to display the panel on an external computer, but can also be used on a second monitor on the MSFS computer. No 3D or OpenGL means that the external computer can be any machine capable of running Windows 95 or better (486/66 w/8MB RAM) Put that old laptop to work ! This second version adds two new features. The panel compnents can be moved around to match up with holes in a physical cockpit panel, and there's the ability to adjust the max prop setting for non-standard flight models. Instructions are in the readme.txt FS2002/2004 & WideFS.

TexPand2

File Description:
With the proliferation of Flight Simulator add-ons which modify scenery texture files, it may occasionally be necessary to restore files originally installed by FS2004. “TexPand2” can be useful when you have a texture file problem and you wish a solution less drastic than re-installing the entire Flight Simulator package. Use this utility if you wish to install an add-on which requires the original files to be present, or if you wish to remove any texture, water, cloud, or night lighting add-on such as NuRoads©, Ultimate Terrain©, BirdsEyeView©, Flight Environment©, Silver Wings, or add-ons which have no “UNINSTALL” feature. Registry Path Utility

File Description:
Many FS applications depend on knowing the path to the FS9.exe as reported in the Windows Registry. But what if the registry entry is corrupted or has been deleted? Manually copying the FS9 folder to another location or drive will also invalidate the registry entry. This may in some cases prevent the FS add-on from working correctly until FS2004 is re-installed. Features: Repairs the FS9 path in the Windows Registry, checks the registry path for the FS9.exe file, warns if the registry path is missing, sets the registry path for the FS9.exe file, warns if the FS9.exe is not in folder on clicking the "Set" button, avoids the need to reinstall FS2004 in the event of registry corruption, launches Windows RegEdit and searches for the FS9 registry key.

MULTIPLE FS9.EXE: do it yourself! NO TOOL!

File Description:
Hi friends, Some sceneries request TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL = 19, some 20 or 21…. Others work better with UNLIMITED FRAMERATE, some work only with frames limited to 24, 25 or whatever fps…. Some Photorealistic sceneries will get blurry when using EXTENDED TEXTURES, others no…. Some aircrafts have a specific joystick configuration; others like helicopters will have a completely different one…. I was personally fed up with spending time tweaking this poor FS9.cfg file, having thousands of different copies in my computer when I just observed that Microsoft offers us a very easy way to build several FS9.exe, one for each configuration. So now I have on my desktop several FS9 icons, each one is loading FS with its specific config Very cool, really and so easy to do!!!. Do you want to know how to do that in 2 minutes? So follow me!
