Our goal is to provide accurate ATC calls in order to provide Microsoft Flight Simulator traffic with quality ATC. These sounds are the best that we have been able to compile and are accurate as of release date and to the extent that our data and the limitations of the EditVoicepack allow. FS2004 Pratt & Whitney JT3D-3B turbofan engine sounds for DC8-50 & -61 series, and B707-320B.
Although a similar sound note to the JT3D-7, It has a bit of a higher pitch and a unique startup sequence. Thanks to Just Planes Video for allowing me to include some of their original sound recordings, along with some of my own. Compiled by Benoit Plamondon.

One of my all time favorites. I bring to you, the JT9D. No specific variants here to bore you with. This is about as generic as it gets but also as real as it gets. This is set #2 from my new brand of "Unreal" soundsets. It has everything the JT9D is famous for from its hollowed exterior spoolup to its throbbing interior grind. (Also perfect for takeoff thrust reductions. This set is compatable with the 747-100/200, 767-200, A300B4, A310-200 and DC-10-40. Another set thats proven to make the flight sim as real as it gets. This sound is intended for use on Eric Cantu's models only! They will not work properly on any other model (I will be making updates to make the sounds work on other models eventually). I am proud to present to you the most realistic and detailed MD-8X Pratt & Whitney JT8D-217 turbofan soundpack for FS2004, that was ever made! I have put ALOT of time and effort into this work, and it is perhaps my most detailed and realistic sounding soundset to date! It features all the usual features that come with my sounds, such as the realistic engine spool up, and other stuff. There are 3 versions included in this package: (Default) Rear Passenger Cabin Perspective, Cockpit Perspective, Cockpit Perspective (for Lonny Payne's Flightdeck: MD-80 Panel only). There are instructions provided in the sound folder on how to switch the sound.cfgs to the version you want. I am sure that if you are a frequent MD-80 Flyer, or if you're a pilot or flight crew onboard an MD-80 aircraft that you'll pretty impressed by these sounds. But if you don't like these sounds, just simply delete the file and try another soundpack. But you should try this one first, it's absolutely worth it! I doubt anyone will be deleting these sounds after hearing them.

File Description:
THUNDERING TURBOFANS - The JT3D-3, also known as the "Fanjet" (or even "Turbo Wasp"), isn't a stage III noise compliant engine, as you'll soon find out. The JT3D-3 soundset was succesfully tested on both the Historic Jetliners Group (HJG) and AeroSim DC-8 models. This soundset also features full environmental sounds, adding that little extra. All sounds are sampled at 22,5Khz 16-bit stereo quality. Enjoy!
