Boeing 747-200 PW JT9D-7R4G2

File Description:
After months of hard work (and some time off from the 777 GE90 project) it's finally available. Ladies and gentlemen I'd like to present to you........ my Pratt & Whitney JT9D-7R4G2 soundset! True 747 thunder can now be heard in FS2004 :) My "testbed" was a Project Opensky Boeing 747-300, but the soundset also works fine with the -100/-200 models. This soundset also features internal systems and APU sounds for a more realistic atmosphere both inside and outside of the cockpit. Please see the readme file for credits and installation instructions. I once again managed to beat the size of my previous soundset by approx. 100 KB's :P But do not be put off because of the filesize. This is just 37,1MB's of pure quality, guaranteed.

Douglas DC-6 sound.cfg V.3

File Description:
This sound.cfg replaces the one uploaded in August 2008. Both the interior and exterior sounds have been improved. Please replace the sound.cfg you already downloaded by this new one. In my search for a good sound for the Douglas DC-6/-6A/-6B/-6C, XC-112A/YC-112A, VC-118, the C-118A/R6D-1 series and the Canadair C-5, I struck on the fabulous soundpack for the beautiful Douglas A-26 Invader of Milton Shupe and the Sim-Outhouse Team, made by David C. Copley. Most of the wav-files in this soundpack are recordings of the Pratt & Whitney Double Wasp R-2800 engines of an A-26 Invader. Having studied the Invaders sound pack, I discovered that by ‘tweaking’ the sound.cfg, particularly with regard to the exterior sounds, it became possible to develop a good exterior DC-6 sound (4 engines). No changes were made to the wav-files, as I didn’t want to modify them; the wav-files just sound wonderful. In order to make your system reproduce the DC-6 sound, first download from www.sim-outhouse.com the great Douglas A-26 Invader package and enjoy flying that plane. Then copy the sound pack of the A-26 to the DC-6, and replace the existing sound.cfg by the revised one you just downloaded. This DC-6 sound has been tested in FS2004 only. Special thanks to David C. Copley who gave his permission to upload the modified sound.cfg as freeware, with limited distribution, at Sim-Outhouse.com and Avsim.com. Canadair CL-215 sound.cfg V.3

File Description:
This sound.cfg replaces the one uploaded in August 2008. Both the interior and exterior sounds have been improved. Please replace the sound.cfg you already downloaded by this new one. Pratt & Whitney JT9D-7FW Boeing 747SP

File Description:
Fellow Simmers, I present to you my latest soundset the Pratt & Whitney JT9D. This soundset is the direct outcome of hard work to achieve the results that I got, because recordings of JT9Ds are very scarce let alone being able to put it all together and make it sound right. With this soundset you can now enjoy the Project Opensky 747SPs in all their glory by having an unreal authentic audio experience that is not comparable to other JT9D soundsets. Many of the sounds in this set were recorded from a real SAA Boeing 747SP with JT9D-7FW engines and other SPs as well. Expect to find everything sounding identical to the real deal, from the start up to shutdown, you will not be dissappointed especially for the price of 11MB!

Real 737 cockpit sound

File Description:
In this pack you can find some real 737 cockpit sound like geardown, trim, roll and other files recorded in the cockpit of an B737-400 of KLM (PH-BPB) during a flight from Venice to Amsterdam. This is the version 1.1.0 updated at the 27th of november 2008. I'll release soon an update with new high quality sounds. I hope you'll like this. Boeing 747-200 General Electric CF6-50E2

File Description:
Ladies & Gentlemen, I'm VERY proud to present to you my General Electric CF6-50E2 soundset. After gaining experience in the field of sound-editing I decided to "upgrade" one of my older packages to today's standard :) That means this package is actually V2.0 of my Boeing 747-200 GE soundset. But don't be fooled, this isn't just a "revised" soundset. It's a completely NEW package, not a single sound remained untouched. The typical GE "multi-engine-whine" can finally hurt your ears in FS :P The soundset also includes APU & Internal Systems sounds to enrich the experience. My testbed was Project Opensky's awesome Boeing 747-200 model but the soundset can also be used with their 747-300 model. You can also equip the SGA DC-10s and the SGA or HNAC Airbus A300B2/B4s with this package. Enjoy!!
