G2k4conv converts Ground2k project files from version 3 to 5 format and back and converts some scenery data from FS 2002 to FS 2004 defaults and back (exclude, VTP2 and line layers, railroad texture ids). G2k4conv version 1.1 corrects a problem in version 1.0.

Fully animated scenery model of an iconic "Nodding Donkey" oil pump.
Three models are provided each animated at very slightly different speeds. The different speeds enable you put several pumps near each other without them being exactly in phase. A static model is also included.

File Description:
This package DOES NOT contain finished FS scenery products! Instead, the three bitmaps (N46.7-47.4 W121.4-122.8) are meant to be used for FS landscape scenery design with Ground2K4 (by Christian Fumey) or similar utilities. Source data are public domain Landsat 7 ETM+ satellite images, at 15-m and 30-m ground resolution. I used professional GIS software for the geographic transformation to lat/long-WGS84 projection, and photo processing software for channel merging and image enhancements. Each image has been tested in Ground2K4 for accurate placement. Note: These images have been ECW-compressed and need special (free) software for decompressing (instructions included). Background bitmaps for Ground2K4 design.

| Tutorial: Modify Landclass and Add Roads with SBuilder |

File Description:
This is a follow up to my Tutorial on using SBuilder and AFCAD2 to regress an Airfield to an earlier time (available from my website www.scruffyduck.plus.com). It builds on from that tutorial and describes adding modified landclass around the airfield and adding an access road using VTP2 lines. Whilst this tutorial was designed as part of a series on creating earlier age airfields the techniques in both should be of interest and use in the modern era if you are developinh, or wish to develop, scenery using SBuilder. Future Tutorials will look at placing 3d scenery objects and other SBuilder related topics.

| API Manager |

File Description:
API macros are old technology as far as FS scenery design is concerned. The new approach in FS2004 and beyond is quite different. It seems possible that scenery files using macros will not be supported in the next version of FS. Nevertheless there are many scenery designers who still use macros. I am one and I have a large collection of macros. I wanted a way to manage and categorize these macros. I also wanted to be sure that I could credit authors correctly when I use the results of their efforts. I wanted a way to keep information about object footprint and scale and I wanted to know ahead of time if I had missing textures for an object. Hence API Manager.
Please be aware that this is a first release and there are likely to be things wrong. There are also some areas of the program which could be more user friendly. Please note that API Manager only works with api macros
Requires dotNET framework version 2 from Microsoft. Support is available from www.scruffyduck.plus.com

FS2004/FS2002 API macro--4x100 ft Floating Pier for scenery designers. This pier is floating on 55 gallon drums and was used by two MP river interdiction bases in the Chu Lai, Vietnam area to dock the speedboats that they used in their work on the rivers.

File Description:
FS2004/FS2002 API macro 1000 ft Railroad Bridge of the Vietnam era for scenery designers.
This particular bridge was located at Chu Lai Viet Nam and was blown up by the Viet Cong
early in the war. It carried the main north - south Vietnam railway line.
