Rio de Janeiro Version 5

File Description:
Rio de Janeiro V5 for FS2004. This scenery for Rio de Janeiro improves on the default Rio, were MS missed so many landmarks the place didn't even look like Rio. Most of the major items are now present, and there is an exclusion for the Rio-Niteroi Bridge included in the FS2004 Update, in case you have the Update installed. Also enhanced is the Jacarepagua Airport (SBJR). The package includes traffic, some commercial, a complete aircraft and a modification for the 737 to inlcude VARIG's colours. Those two aircraft are used in commuter traffic between Rio and Sao Paulo. Authors are Newton Drumond (Rio) and Fern Marques (North Bay, Ontario).

FS2004 Scenery-Rio Vista Municipal Airport (FAA LID: O88) is a public airport located three miles (4.8 km) northwest of Rio Vista, serving Solano County, California, USA. This general aviation airport covers 273 acres (110 ha) and has two runways and one helipad. The airport is the current base of operations for the Travis AFB Aero Club. Argentina Villa Rumipal/Rio Tercero

File Description: This scenery was requested by Federico Malfu Sanchez, who also did all the legwork to find images and data, and as well did the complete Beta testing. The area surrounding has been edited to help VFR pilots find their way. The whole LOD 8 tile the scenery is on has been resampled with SRTM3 data at LOD 13 level. The Rio Tercero lake has been configured to satellite images and rivers and roads follow their actual mapped courses. Additionally the Rio Tercero dam and hydro electric plant, as well as other VFR relevant landmarks, have been included.

File Description: This scenery was requested by Federico Malfu Sanchez. I used GOOGLE MAP to create a part of the texture. The position of the track is fairly precise and adapted to the FS2004 plant; length, width, height and orientation SLM are real. The various buildings and objects are positioned correctly, but not appearing as the real ones: for viewing them You must install "RWY12 Object Placer" and also these libraries: dwag_hangers.zip Matt`s_OshKochObjects matts_trees 1,2,3,7,8,9,10
