Description:
These scenery files represent three airfields, Brooklands, Croydon, and Hendon situated around London, England in the Golden Age of aviation, between 1930 and 1940.
Brooklands, the oldest airfield in the UK, developed inside the classic banked oval motor race track opened in 1909, and was the birthplace of the British aviation industry and the starting point for a number of pioneering flights. Now sadly reduced, Brooklands holds an aviation museum and still operates as an airstrip.
Croydon was the pre-war London Airport for Transatlantic and Far Eastern flights, replaced in 1944 by london Heathrow, and now built over.
RAF Hendon was the venue for spectacular airshows before the war, was a crucial WWII airfield, and now holds the RAF museum and the Metropolitan Police training college.

| Brooklands 1938 |

File Description:
This represents Brooklands Aerodrome in about 1938. It is aligned to the Just Flight VFR scenery, and fits quite well into FS2004 default scenery, which does not have this airfield. It is an update to the Brooklands included in my Vintage London Airports package (VLA.ZIP); the racetrack has been cleared of vehicles, and the disappearing banks fixed.

1938 is a scenery built in the high mountainous terrain of Alaska. It was built for my friend Scott Schwenz and as a dedication to his fathers Alaskan dream. This scenery features mostly a vintage appeal with sounds custom sounds and custom vintage texture ideas. Also included is an FX pack that will enable blowing snow during the Fall and Winter seasons as well as blowing dust at the start of Spring. Pick a flight and have fun...stop in fuel up and grab a bite to eat at Marnie's Cafe'

This upgrade fix to original downloaded Schwenz Vintage 1938 Airsrtip available at Avsim
will put a longer more accessible runway into the game and it also moves some scenery objects
around. Most importantly if you saw white texture that should have been trees this upgrade will
fix that as well...

This file upgrades the Victorian Airfields v1.2 scenery pack for
FS2004 to v1.3. With this upgrade, all 120 airfields will display
in the 'select airport search addon scenery facility. Now you will
be able to place your aircraft directly at any of the included
fields. There are also 4 new strips...Barrabool, Elmore, Moonambel'
and Noelhurst.
YOU MUST HAVE VICTORIAN AIRFIELDS SCENERY V1.2 TO USE THIS UPGRADE!
