FDE PSS A320 LIP v1.6 (Improved A-FLOOR protection)

File Description:
A320 IAE V2500-A5@27000Lbs With LIP v1.6 (Lift Improvement Package) by Alan Fernandes and improved A-FLOOR protection by Edson Costa. Application of LIP on A320-IAE has been developped with the main objective to improve landing performance at SDU (PR-MAG and PR-MAK). LIP allows to reduce the approach speed by 6-7 kt for operational landing weights. Note: Preliminary estimate of the speed benefit was around 4kt. Five structural modifications have been introduced to change the aerodynamic configuration of the aircraft: 3 modifications on the wing leading edge, 1 modification on the engine nacelle (not modeled) and 1 modification on the wing trailing edge. File Description: Tips and Tricks - Part 12 - Mid-Summer 2005 edition. I had not planned on another issue until the Fall but there are just too many good things to share so here we are again. In this issue you will find several valuable "How-To's", links to a number of useful sites, and much, much more. Of special interest is a section dealing with the RWY12 Object Placer program. If you have bored kids or grandkids visiting during the summer, there is a recommendation they will enjoy too! This is also the first issue to include updated indexes in .xls (Excel) and .pdf formats for the entire series. As usual, I have attempted to include something of value for everyone, regardless of your experience level. Compiled in .doc and .pdf formats for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.
