Maps2bgl "How To"

File Description:
This simple word document shows you how to get started using the excellent Maps2bgl program by Gunnar Dähling. With his permission I have uploaded this file to help those who struggled understanding the translation in the original readme file. A second guide will be made helping those who wish to edit the JPEG images and learn more about finding the best images from online maps.

A Screenshot Collection from FS2004 (makes a good screensaver)

File Description:
Here's my view from outside the cockpit. This set is the starter set which provides 148, 800 pixel wide screenshots. Each one is a different aircraft. Thanks to all the modelers and repainters out there who have given us all this wonderful variety! Look for future releases to add to this collection.

Weather Theme Spring Fine and Cool

File Description:
This theme will provide you with clear cool conditions and variable winds in the NNE (5 -20 degrees) dependent upon your altitude. Many themes have a focus on cloud/storm conditions or specific wind types but wanting to have clear cool conditions with some varying winds it seemed to me that one should be created. This is based on a metar that displayed such conditions. Ground temp is 57F (14 C) and at about 24000 feet it is around -10F (-23 C). Contrails (vapour trails) are well in evidence.

A Screenshot Collection From FS2004 #2 (makes a good screensaver)

File Description:
This is the second installment of my ever growing collection of screenshots. These are all pictures I have taken in my world and they are labeled with the aircraft type. The first batch was "Screenshots_1.zip" It has one of each aircraft I have, (so far) and this group adds 153 more shots. They are each 800 pixels wide.

Flight1 Super80 AES configuration file

File Description:
AES configuration file for the Flight1/Coolsky Ultimate Airliners Super80. Docking gates and mobile stairs will move to the left forward door. Baggage vehicles will move to the cargo doors on the right side, but please note that these doors do not function on this model. Requires Airport Enhancement Services from Aerosoft and the payware Flight1/Coolsky Ultimate Airliners Super80.

AES configuration file for the SSTSIM Concorde

File Description:
AES configuration file for the payware SSTSIM Concorde. Docking gates or mobile air stairs will connect with the left forward door. This is the only door that I activated for this file. Tested only with the production models - not tested with pre-production or prototype models. Requires Airport Enhancement Services from Aerosoft. Please note the following: - 1) Due to a limitation with AES, catering service vehicles will not align properly with the right forward door. In AES, its position is deduced from the position of the LEFT door, which with this product, as with the real aircraft, is a few feet further toward the rear. Therefore the gate/stairs willl align properly, but the catering truck driver will miss the mark. 2) I chose not to include baggage vehicles as the forward cargo doors are in an awkward position under the fuselage, and the rear door is too high to be reached properly by the AES baggage vehicles. 3) None of the cargo doors operate on this model anyway.
