Smoke Jumpers FX

File Description:
Now you can shuttle smoke-jumpers to that hard-to-get-to forest fire. These FX files allow you to drop a number of orange-clad firefighters from the DC-3, JU-52, or DeHaviland Otter. Editing the included text insert (door location) for the aircraft.cfg file will allow them to jump from any other plane of your choosing as well. I no longer have FS2002 so was unable to test this with that FS version. I wish to thank Mr. Pierino Primavesi for his kind permission in allowing me to modify the FX files he made for his Luftwaffe version of the JU-52. New AirShow Demonstration Smoke

File Description:
FS2004 New AirShow Demonstration Smoke. Not just another "smoke" download: this has dynamic vortex effects and propwash vectoring; six colors; multiple offset values aid correction of [smokesystem] "Y" coords, and allow easier install. Total of 36 smoke fx files (3KB each). Best aircraft-types for this effect are those without engine "smoke" effects controlled by an XML gauge. This effect is activated manually, and uses the "I" key for on/off switch.

Modern Smoke Jumpers - Parafoils

File Description:
Thought there might be some purists out there frowning at the previous round canopy. I have completely reworked the FX texture files to allow you to drop a number of yellow-clad smoke-jumpers in the traditional free-fall arch position from the DC-3, JU-52, DeHaviland Otter, and now the C-130. They now sport the modern parafoil chute rather than the older round canopy. Editing the included text insert (door location) for the aircraft.cfg file will allow them to jump from any other plane of your choosing as well. I no longer have FS2002 so was unable to test this with that FS version. Smoke Colors

File Description:
The files in this archive are "repaints" of the default FS9 Smoke Effect. I had a similar package from FS2k2, but the effects did not quite work properly in FS9. Since I couldn't find what I wanted on any of the major d/l sites, I decided to do it myself! Check the readme - there's a little surprise tucked in there! ;)
