Instrument Approach plate for Auke Lake, Alaska

File Description:
This is an NDB approach for those interested in the ability to get into Auke Lake, Alaska, which, is not currently served by an instrument approach (IAP). This is a small lake, located nearby Juneau International airport, which has a number of private floatplanes based at it. The area is a very mountainous region and with an NDB station nearby, it would be a shame not to be able to get in when the weather goes down.

Puzzle - Ron Fagen's P-40K Warhawk.

File Description:
The P-40 Warhawk. This superb example - a P-40K - is owned by American Ron Fagen, who recovered the wrecked aircraft from the Kola Peninsula, Russia, in 1992. The photograph comes from "Aeroplane", January 2007. The Puzzle runs straight from the file - no installation is required and no additional files are necessary. Navigation Guide: SID, STAR, VOR, inbound, outbound

File Description:
This is a short (3 pages) guide on navigation, compiled from various posts I made over the years. It contains information on: TMAs, SID, STAR, VOR navigation, inbound and outbound on a radial. It is best used with the WEEDA1 arrival chart for KDTW (not included). Two caveats: 1) DO NOT use for real life navigation 2) I am not in any capacity connected to real aviation.
