Planetary Textures

File Description:
These textures will replace the default Earth textures when zoomed out in Top-Down view to one of our solar system's celestial bodies. Textures for all planets in the solar system are included (except Earth): Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, as well as the four largest moons of Jupiter: Ganymede, Callisto, Io, and Europa. There is also a texture set for the Sun and the Earth's moon.

Aerospatiale Concorde - Tribute Video

File Description:
It was with sadness that many of us said goodbye to Concorde on her final passenger flight in 2003. This video is a Flightsim tribute to her and the BA/Air France airline crews that flew her over the years. It was my original intention to include footage of the Air France Concorde in this video, but due to my final choice of music, it didn't seem appropriate, so I apologise to our French flightsim colleagues ! If you liked the CS707 video, you will love this one. It is a large, high-res file, but, frankly, anything less wouldn't do! The video captures all phases of flight, including real ATC footage recorded from the final Concorde flight with a farewell message from Mike Bannister. Recording, courtesy of Tony Smith. Upset Recovery

File Description:
Upset in FS2004! Can you recover from an upset? Your instructor tells you to close your eyes and he then places the aircraft in an unusual attitude and then tells you to open your eyes and recover. I have used the Cessna 182, placed it in an unusual attitude four times, paused each flight, and then saved it. When you load it, the flight will be paused and all you need do is press the "P" key and recover. Try not to overspeed, overstress, or splash in the water. I have also included a very short video of my "recovery" from a graveyard spiral. This package is only for mature pilots who can fly with instruments. "Spot view" pilots may find this too much of a challenge.

Active ILS - PANC (Stevens Anchorage International Airport)

File Description:
Runways 06/24 LR have been changed to 07/25 LR. ATC will speak the proper runway numbers and all associated Approaches have been realigned. A readme also explains how to use your exsisting favorite AFCAD airport or the one that I have supplied.

Puzzle - The cockpit of VH-XBA, the first Boeing 707 bought by QANTAS.

File Description:
The cockpit (flight-deck) of QANTAS's Boeing 707 VH-XBA (nee VH-EBA), in all its 1960's glory (plus a few more modern nav-aids, of course!) The photograph was taken by Australian Historical Aviation Society member and my good friend Robert Deahm in February 2006, at the Qantas Jet Base, after the aircraft arrived in Sydney from Britain. (Bob was invited to tour the aircraft, the lucky so-and-so!) No installation is required - the puzzle runs directly from the file. Readme is included with simple and straight-forward instructions. There're six-hundred pieces to put together....I hope you enjoy it.
