File Description:
Afterburner effects for FSD T-38A Talon
to be flown in FS2004. Revised from 2002
version, still uses "afterburner" key.
This version has XML control of flaptip
and wingtip vortices, and "burner" smoke
with optional "whooom" sound at ignition
of afterburner. New afterburner flames
w/panel indicator. Runway tire marks w/
optional "chirp" sound. Custom contrail
(very long). Custom jet startup effects
w/ optional "heat" shimmer. Installation
is manual but easy. W/aircraft.cfg info
for optional speed increase (Mach 1.5).
"Whooom" sound is in separate D/L, look
for WHOOM_FX.zip.

| ParkingSpecs Codes for the Default FS2004 Airlines |

File Description:
The Default airlines in FS2004 don't have any 'parking codes' assigned to them. Here are some fictional codes for those airlines, so you can now assign specific gates to them, for use in your traffic. Only the main carriers - American Pacific, Airwave, Global Freightways, Landmark, Orbit, Soar, Pacifica and World Travel Airlines are assigned codes. The codes are made up of 4 letters so as not to conflict with real world airline codes.

Tips and Tricks III. Tips and Tricks and Tips and Tricks II was so well received that I have compiled a third collection of Tips and Tricks for FS2004. that work well on my modest setup. This is not meant to be a comprehensive listing – just a few tips, tricks and ideas that I have come across that you may wish to try. This collection includes, amongst other things, a cool recommendation for KIDS (of all ages) and several suggestions for budding scenery designers. The provided touchdown and vortex FX's are designed for all weather conditions and usually enhance wet pavement landings. Three custom scaled FX files cover large scale military and civilian transports, Airbus, 777's, 747's, 737's, MD's, 727's along with large and small Lear jets. Users of Nicks Prop Dust can also use Nick's Touchdown with Vortex FX to enhance their LARGE prop aircraft on dry asphalt and concrete runways. Installation requires running the auto-installer and making a minor edit to the aircraft.cfg file. After a great flight wouldn’t it be nice to end it with the realistic WoooooooOOSH that Microsoft left out of Flight Simulator? Now you can be BLOWN AWAY with every touchdown! You can also add this FX to all your AI traffic as well.
