Official Australian location codes

File Description:
The tables presented here are the complete Australian ICAO allocations for airports, airstrips and helicopter landing sites, including locations not shown in FS2004. It is important for scenery designers, AFCAD makers and those compiling AI traffic to use correct codes where they exist rather than fictitious ones so that no unintentional conflicts occur. This data has been provided in Excel and csv formats for your convenience. The latitude/longitude information supplied here is in the correct format to be copied directly into FS2004/map menu and Traffic Tools airport.txt file.

EditVoicePack "Point Air" Importable File

File Description:
I made this file in order to hear "Point Air" in the FS2004 ATC by using the Captain Sim Point Air Legendary 707. See Point Air 1980FN.zip and Point Air 1984FN.zip. The EditVoicePack 3.1 utility is required.

DHC-2 Beaver Special Effects Smoke

File Description:
Automatically displays a very faint exhaust smoke trail from the DHC-2 Beaver when air temperature drops below 23F/-5C. You'll know it's cold when you see the smoke trail! Works with the DHC-2 wheeled Beaver for FS2004 by Steven Grant, Fred Choate, Aaron Swindle. File available in the AVSIM Library-- dhc2_04w.zip -- Also works with the DHC-2 DeHavilland Beaver Amphibian v2 that was made for FS2002, but works equally well in FS2004. Available in the AVSIM Library-- dhc2ampv2.zip --. Thanks to Jan Rosenberg for the dc2_fx Effects for the default DC3 and the explanation of how this works.

Tips, Tricks and more for FS2004 Dutch Translation. Dutch Translation of the tips and tricks document from David "Opa" Marshall. A collection of tips and tricks for FS2004 that work well on my modest setup. These may or may not work for you but you may wish to give them a try. This is in no way meant to be a comprehensive listing – just a few tips, tricks and ideas that I have come across. Hopefully you will find something of use, be you a newbie or a long time simmer.
