| Afcad - Some Tips and Tricks |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Afcad Tips and Tricks - an Illustrated Tutorial. Although Lee Swordy's indispensible program includes very complete documentation, this tutorial illustrates several of the less obvious things you can do with the program. Topics include creating a quick flatten, decorating the edges of a runway, use of the polygon feature to enhance terrain adjacent to an airport, drawing "roads", creating invisible taxiways, moving or removing the Helicopter "H" and use of the "jump here" command. Even if you are an experienced user of Afcad, you will likely find some useful ideas in this tutorial. Compiled in .doc and .pdf formats for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

| ILS 16 Patch for LOWS 2006 |
|
File Description:
The standard files of Microsoft Flight Simulator are not accurate for the ILS approach on runway 16 in Salzburg/Austria (LOWS). This leads to erratic flight procedures of the AI traffic and errors in flight plans with destination LOWS (W.A. Mozart Airport). GPS does not recognize this ILS properly.
A fellow designer and member of the newly established "design team" headed by "gianni" -Gerhard Blaim- has carefully reworked the relevant data structure. "design team" now offers a file to solve the described bugs for free use for private purposes at own risk of each user of "LOWS_2006" (freeware).
Tested in FS9.1 with "LOWS 2006" under WindowsXP.

| FS2004 Mobile Control Tower |
|
File Description:
Control the incoming and outgoing traffic on your RADAR screen (MARCIANO’s great Radar gauge) or with the excellent Ground and Traffic Radar included in the FSUIPC addon as AI planes fly around you.Rotating engine rotates the tower for a cockpit full 360ª View on 5 different levels or with the virtual view. Completely re-designing of the Main panel for a more professional look and new 7 panels for other views. Now listed as Mobile Tower in the FS2004 planes list with 1 to 5 levels variation. Revolutionary rotating and positioning engines by Rob Barendregt ! Precise and exact "GoodYear Blimp" view ideal for AFCAD designer. Serves also as mirador or observatiopn tower anywhere. This is a complete new Control tower and does not need the 2002 version which was downlaoded more than 11.500 times.
This sucessfull accesory is intended to be the most complete and useful FREEWARE Control Tower available at the moment for FS2004.Full Web support. by Ronald R. Cachemaille

| AES configuration file for the SSTSIM Concorde |
|
File Description:
AES configuration file for the payware SSTSIM Concorde. Docking gates or mobile air stairs will connect with the left forward door. This is the only door that I activated for this file. Tested only with the production models - not tested with pre-production or prototype models. Requires Airport Enhancement Services from Aerosoft. Please note the following: - 1) Due to a limitation with AES, catering service vehicles will not align properly with the right forward door. In AES, its position is deduced from the position of the LEFT door, which with this product, as with the real aircraft, is a few feet further toward the rear. Therefore the gate/stairs willl align properly, but the catering truck driver will miss the mark. 2) I chose not to include baggage vehicles as the forward cargo doors are in an awkward position under the fuselage, and the rear door is too high to be reached properly by the AES baggage vehicles. 3) None of the cargo doors operate on this model anyway.
